У США трапилась надзвичайна ситуація – у Монтані обвалився міст через річку Єллоустоун. Інцидент трапився як раз, коли ним рухався поїзд з небезпечними речовинами, пише Reuters.
Внаслідок обвалення конструкції у воду впали “кілька небезпечних вагонів”, розповіли в компанії Montana Rail Link. Обійшлося без жертв та постраждалих.
За словами представників компанії, залізничні вагони перевозили асфальт і розплавлену сірку – речовини, які швидко тверднуть при контакті з нижчими температурами. Ще два вагони, в яких був гідросульфат натрію – кисла сіль – у річну не потрапили.
За даними ЗМІ, місцева влада поки що не може точно визначити, що сталось раніше – сходження вогнів поїзда з рейок чи обвалення мосту.
“Водоочисні споруди, іригаційні райони та промислові компанії вживають відповідних запобіжних заходів”, — йдеться у повідомленні офісу шерифа округу Єллоустоун.

За даними партнера Reuters агенції ANI, під час обвалення мосту в неділю на ньому перебувало вісім людей, один охоронець вважається зниклим безвісти.

За даними ЗМІ, будівництво мосту було заплановано завершити у 2019 році, але воно неодноразово затримувалося, в тому числі через руйнування 30 квітня 2022 року через сильний вітер і дощ. Міст почали будувати ще у 2014 році, проте термін завершення будівництва мосту зривався вісім разів, пише видання The Hindu.

Унаслідок обвалу мосту в селі Треттен у річку Гудбрандсдален упав автомобіль, ще один транспортний засіб застряг на конструкції.
У понеділок на півдні Норвегії обвалився дерев’яний міст через річку. Легковий автомобіль упав у воду, а вантажівка застрягла на підвищенні. За даними місцевої поліції, водіїв обох транспортних засобів удалося врятувати.
Міст був відкритий у 2012 році, інформує AP News.
До рятувальної операції залучили гелікоптер, за допомогою якого витягнули водія вантажівки. Кермувальник легковика, який упав у воду, вибрався з транспортного засобу самостійно.

У Чилі водій вантажівки, завантаженої деревиною, заїхав не на той міст. Конструкція прогнулася під транспортним засобом, і в результаті вантажівка опинилася у пастці. Вона залишається там і надалі, паралізувавши рух у районі, інформує HVG.
Як виявилося, міст витримує автомобілі вагою менше 6 тонн, а вантажівка суттєво перевищує це обмеження, оскільки разом з вантажем важить близько 50 тонн. Зазвичай подібні вантажівки використовують інший міст, а цим користуються лише місцеві жителі.
Водій зміг залишити кабіну неушкодженим, однак на місце події необхідно привезти кран, щоб розгрузити вантажівку. Автомобіль належить транспортній компанії, котра повідомила, що шкодує про те, що сталося, і долучиться до ремонту мосту.
