Az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat munkatársai a felszabadított Herszonban őrizetbe vettek egy civil ruhába öltözött orosz katonát, aki megpróbálta magát helybelinek kiadni.
A biztonsági szolgálat tisztjeivel folytatott beszélgetés után a katona elismerte, hogy az Oroszországi Föderáció fegyveres erőit fedező 69. különálló dandár hivatásos katonája – írja az Ukrainszka Pravda.
A különleges szolgálat azt is megállapította, hogy a megszállók alól felszabadított Herszonban az volt az orosz fegyveres feladata, hogy információkat gyűjtsön, támadást készítsen elő Ukrajna fegyveres erői ellen, és szabotázst hajtson végre.

A tárgyalás hatalmas szimbolikus jelentőséggel bír Ukrajna számára, amely a civilek elleni atrocitásokkal és kegyetlenséggel vádol orosz katonákat, és állítása szerint több mint 10 ezer feltételezett háborús bűncselekményt azonosított.
Életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetésre ítélte egy ukrán bíróság egy fegyvertelen ukrán civil megölése miatt az első orosz katonát, akit Ukrajnában bíróság elé állítottak – jelentette a Reuters hírügynökség.
A 21 éves orosz harckocsiparancsnok korábban elismerte, hogy az Ukrajna elleni orosz inváziót követően nem sokkal, február végén agyonlőtte a fegyvertelen, 62 éves Olekszandr Selipovot a Szumi megyei Csupahivka nevű településen, ám azzal védekezett, hogy mindezt parancsra tette. Az ítéletet felolvasó Szerhij Ahafonov bíró szerint Sisimarin „egy magasabb rendfokozatú katona „bűnös parancsát” végrehajtva többször is fejbe lőtte az áldozatot egy automata fegyverből.„
Sisimarin egy megerősített üvegkalitkából, csöndben figyelte az eseményeket, és nem mutatott érzelmet az ítélet felolvasása közben.
A tárgyalás hatalmas szimbolikus jelentőséggel bír Ukrajna számára, amely a civilek elleni atrocitásokkal és kegyetlenséggel vádol orosz katonákat, és állítása szerint több mint 10 ezer feltételezett háborús bűncselekményt azonosított. Oroszország tagadja, hogy civileket támadna, vagy köze lenne háborús bűncselekményekhez.
A Kreml egyelőre nem reagált, igaz, korábban azt állította, hogy nem rendelkezik információval a tárgyalásról, és diplomáciai missziójának hiánya korlátozza segítségnyújtási képességét.
