Őrizetbe vették az amerikai Szövetségi Nyomozó Hivatal (FBI) egy volt munkatársát és egy másik amerikai állampolgárt, mert a gyanú szerint pénzmosásban segédkeztek egy szankciós listára került orosz oligarchának – közölte hétfőn a New York-i ügyészség.
A már szombat este előállított két amerikai férfit a vádirat szerint azzal gyanúsítják, hogy közreműködtek az Oleg Gyeripaszka ellen a háború miatt hozott büntetőintézkedések kijátszásában.
A gyanút súlyosbítja, hogy az FBI egykori munkatársa szolgálati ideje alatt éppen az oligarchák, köztük a Gyeripaszka ellen indított vizsgálatokkal foglalkozott. A férfi egyébként orosz származású amerikai állampolgár társával közösen nemrég megpróbálta az orosz milliárdossal szemben elrendelt szankciókat feloldatni.
Gyeripaszka ellen még szeptemberben, távollétében emeltek vádat a szankciók megsértése miatt. Ha elítélik, akár húsz év börtönnel is sújthatják – írta az MTI.

Haláláról a Baza nevű orosz Telegram-oldal, valamint a francia sajtó számolt be a hét végén. Azt írták, hogy Zelenov – aki az egyik legnagyobb orosz ingatlankezelő vállalat, a Don-Sztroj társalapítója volt – még december 9-én halt meg a francia Riviérán, Antibes üdülővárosában.
Úgy tudni, hogy az oligarcha a barátaival ment vacsorázni egy étterembe, de evés után hirtelen rosszul lett, és leesett egy lépcsőn.

Korábban többször írtunk arról, hogy a háború kezdete óta számos orosz oligarcha vesztette életét rejtélyes körülmények közt.
Dmitrij Zelenov halálának módja kifejezetten hasonlít egy másik orosz oligarcha halálához, aki a Moszkvai Repülési Intézet vezetője, valamint Vlagyimir Putyin bizalmasa is volt korábban. Arról, hogy pontosan kik haltak meg eddig, legutóbb itt készítettünk gyűjtést.

Döntött a holland bíróság az orosz milliárdos, Arkagyij Volozs 1879-ben épült, ötemeletes luxusvilláját elfoglaló fiatalok ügyében. A határozat szerint az illegális házfoglalók egyelőre maradhatnak az ingatlanban – írja a CBC.
A fiatalok ügyvédje, Heleen over de Linden elmondta, hogy ügyfelei addig akarnak maradni a villában, ameddig csak lehetséges. A jogász arról is beszélt, hogy a holland jog normális esetben a háztulajdonosok oldalán áll, ám Volozs neve szerepel az EU szankciós listáján, és az ingatlana lefoglalt vagyontárgynak minősül.
A házfoglalók célja kettős, egyfelől ellenzik az Ukrajna elleni orosz agressziót, és ellene vannak minden oligarchának, aki Putyin rendszerét támogatja, másrészt pedig a hollandiai lakhatási válság következtében csak nagyon drágán juthatnának albérlethez – mondta De Linden.
Volozs Oroszország legnagyobb böngészőjének, a Yandexnek a tulajdonosa és azért került fel az unió szankciós listájára, mert az oldal híraggregátora rendszeresen cenzúrázza az Oroszországgal szemben kritikus hangvételű írásokat, míg a Kreml narratívájának kedves megközelítéseknek pedig nagyobb elérést biztosít.
A szankciók és a kedvező bírósági ítélet ellenére is bizonytalan a házfoglalók helyzete. Az ingatlan még építés alatt áll, és ez az egyetlen oka annak, hogy még senki nem zárta el a villanyt, a vizet és a gázt. De Linden szerint a fiatalok ugyanakkor veterán házfoglalóknak számítanak, akik nagyon is értik a dolgukat, és arra az esetre is van B tervük, ha el kellene hagyniuk a villát. Az ügyvéd szerint a bírósági döntés precedensértékű lehet, abban az értelemben, hogy megszaporodhatnak az orosz oligarchák kontójára elkövetett házfoglalások, amik ráadásul a háborúnak köszönhetően jelentős társadalmi támogatást tudhatnak majd maguk mögött.

A párizsi bíróságon pert nyert Alekszej Kuzmicsev, az Alfa Group befektetési cég dúsgazdag alapítója a francia vámhatóság ellen. Részleges győzelme ellenére Kuzmicsev valószínűleg nem tudja elszállítani a hajóit a francia Riviéráról.
A szankciók alá vont orosz üzletember, Alekszej Kuzmicsev két peréből egyet megnyert a francia vámhatóság ellen, a másodikban viszont nem hozott döntést a párizsi bíróság, azt átutalta az észak-franciaországi Rouen város fellebbviteli bíróságának.
A bírónő szerint Kuzmicsev két, a francia Riviérán horgonyzó jachtja közül a La Petite Ourse fedélzetén végrehajtott razzia jogszerűtlen volt – írja a Bloomberg. Az ítélet szerint a vámosok a házkutatás során nem tájékoztatták a kapitányt arról a jogáról, hogy mikor és hol tiltakozhat a házkutatás ellen.
Nem tettek említést szankcióelkerülő csalásról, pedig ez lett volna a hajó átvizsgálásának az alapja.
A párizsi fellebbviteli bíróság szerint a vámosok nem tüntették fel a jelentésben, hogy hol lehet fellebbezni a razzia ellen, ezért az általuk elkövetett hibák miatt szabálytalannak minősítette a rajtaütést.
A párizsi bírák viszont úgy döntöttek, hogy Kuzmicsev második, La Petite Ourse II nevű jachtjával kapcsolatos perét egy másik bíróságon kellett volna benyújtani, ezért nem hoztak döntést róla. Ezt az észak-franciaországi Rouen város fellebbviteli bíróságának kell megvizsgálnia.
A részleges győzelme ellenére Kuzmicsev valószínűleg nem tudja elszállítani a La Petite Ourse nevű jachtját, mivel továbbra is szankciók alatt áll. Amerikai szövetségi nyomozók egy szankciókkal sújtott orosz milliárdoshoz tartozó két luxusingatlanban tartottak házkutatást egy időben New Yorkban és Floridában.
A Szövetségi Nyomozó Iroda (FBI) ügynökei New York Manhattan városrészében és Miamiban található ingatlanokban jelentek meg még csütörtökön. Egy neve elhallgatását kérő illetékes azt közölte, hogy az intézkedés Viktor Vekszelberg orosz oligarcha, Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök szoros szövetségesének érdekeltségeiben történt.
Az FBI floridai szóvivője Miamiban megerősítette a házkutatások tényét; annyit mondott, hogy bíróság által elrendelt hatósági intézkedésről volt szó. Részleteket nem közölt, ahogy Vekszelberg jogi képviselői sem reagáltak sajtómegkeresésekre.
Az AP amerikai hírügynökség beszámolója szerint a nyomozók több dobozzal távoztak a Park Avenue-n található manhattani ingatlanból, a Miamihoz közeli Fisher-szigeten pedig nyomozók tucatjai jelentek meg a Vekszelberghez tartozónak mondott luxusingatlanban. A két csütörtökön átkutatott ingatlan hivatalos tulajdonosa Vekszelberg gyerekkori barátja, Vlagyimir Voroncsenko, illetve cégei.
A cikk szerint az FBI munkacsoportja azokat a pénzügyi csatornákat próbálja feltárni, amelyek segítik Vlagyimir Putyint az Ukrajna elleni háború finanszírozásában.
Viktor Vekszelberg az egyik első orosz milliárdos volt Putyin szövetségesei közül, akit – már 2018 áprilisában – szankciókkal sújtott az Egyesült Államok a Krím 2014-es orosz elcsatolásával összefüggésben. Vekszelberg minden egyesült államokbeli vagyonát zárolták, és az amerikai cégeknek megtiltották, hogy üzleti kapcsolatot tartsanak fenn vele, illetve vállalkozásaival.
Idén áprilisban amerikai hatósági kérésre Spanyolországban foglaltak le egy Vekszelberghez tartozó 120 millió dollár értékűre becsült óriási, 75 méter hosszú luxusjachtot. A spanyol katonai csendőrség és az amerikai szövetségi hatóságok munkatársai a Földközi-tengeren fekvő Baleár-szigetek székhelyén, Palma de Mallorca nagyméretű kikötőjének Marina Real elnevezésű részén foglalták le az ott horgonyzó járművet tavasszal. Az amerikai igazságügyi minisztérium (DOJ) akkori közlése szerint a jachtot az Egyesült Államokban elkövetett banki csalás, pénzmosás és szankciók megsértése miatt kobozhatják el.
Az ukrajnai születésű Viktor Vekszelberg vagyonát alumínium- és olajipari befektetésekből szerezte a Szovjetunió összeomlása utáni időkben. A baleset Moszkvában történt a brit hírügynökség beszámolója szerint. Maganov egy kórház ablakán esett ki, orosz sajtóértesülések szerint a hatodik emeletről. Az orosz sajtó egy része öngyilkosságként, egy másik véletlen balesetként kezeli a balesetet. Maganov a kórház egy olyan részlegén esett ki a hatodik emeletről, ahol sajtóértesülések szerint nincsenek térfigyelő kamerák – vagyis az, hogy pontosan mi történt vele, egyelőre nem tudni. Az orosz portálok közül azok, amik balesetként hivatkoznak Maganov halálára azt írják, hogy a férfi cigarettázni ment ki az erkélyre, onnan esett le.
Az orosz sajtó szerint Maganov szívbeteg volt, rutinvizsgálatra érkezett a kórházba.
Maganov 67 éves volt, halálát a Lukoil egyelőre nem kommentálta.
Maganov 1993 óta dolgozott a Lukoilnak, nem sokkal a vállalat alapítása után került a céghez. Testvére, Nail Maganov a Tatneft nevű orosz olajipari vállalatot vezeti. Ravil Maganov azzal a Vagit Alekperovval dolgozott együtt hosszan, akivel szemben Nagy-Britannia szankciókat is hozott a háborúban játszott szerepe miatt: befagyasztották a vagyonát és beutazási tilalmat rendeltek el vele szemben.
Nem Maganov az első olyan orosz üzletember, aki az Ukrajna elleni invázió február 24-i indulása óta rejtélyes módon veszti életét: Szergej Protoszenyja, a Novatek gázipari cég egykori alelnöke és főkönyvelője például Barcelonához közel halt meg, rájuk egy kötélen lógva bukkantak, a házban ott volt az üzletember feleségének és lányának is a holtteste.
Nagyon hasonló körülmények között halt meg az 51 éves Vlagyiszlav Avajev, aki a Gazprombank alelnöke volt. Őt lelőtték, moszkvai lakásában találtak rá. A gyilkosa végzett feleségével és 13 éves lányával is. A Gazprom egy másik menedzsere, Alekszandr Tyuljakov már február 25-én meghalt, őt felakasztva találták meg Szentpéterváron.
Májusban szintén rejtélyes körülmények között halt meg a Lukoil volt topmenedzsere, Alekszandr Szubbotin: a milliárdos holttestét egy sámán lakásának alagsorában találták meg Moszkva közelében, ahol állítólag jamaikai vuduszertartásokat végeztek. A halál oka hivatalosan szívelégtelenség volt, orosz hírforrások szerint Szubbotin súlyosan ittasan, bedrogozva ment a sámánhoz.
Márciusban találták meg Vaszilij Melnyikov milliárdos holttestét Nyizsnyij Novgorodban, a luxusvillájában, aki a hatóságok szerint halálra késelte a feleségét és két fiát, majd öngyilkos lett.
Az orosz állami vezetés azonban nem csak gyilkossággal áll bosszút azokon, akik ellenzik az Ukrajna elleni háborút: Oleg Tinkof az egyik legnagyobb orosz bank, a Tinkoff alapítója. Az üzletember vagyonát 9 milliárd dollárra taksálták. Vagyona azonban gyorsan megcsappant, miután április 19-én éles hangon állt ki Ukrajna mellett. Posztjából komoly felháborodás lett, április 20-án pedig a kormányzat emberei azzal keresték meg őt, hogy államosítani fogják bankját.

Idén már több orosz oligarcha halt meg titokzatos körülmények között, többségüknek oroszországi kőolaj- vagy földgáz-érdekeltségekhez volt köze. Mindegyik halálesetnél felmerültek találgatások a Kreml szerepével kapcsolatban, noha a hivatalos közlés szerint a hatóságok nem egy esetben öngyilkosságot állapítottak meg, illetve arra gyanakszanak.
Az első ismert rejtélyes esetre január végén, egy hónappal az orosz csapatok ukrajnai inváziója előtt derült fény. Állítólag öngyilkos lett Leonyid Sulman, a Gazprom 60 éves, magas rangú vezetője.
Az Ukrajnát ért orosz agresszió (a hivatalos orosz narratíva szerint különleges hadművelet) másnapján, február 25-én Alekszandr Tyuljakovot, az energetikai óriáscég egy másik volt vezetőjét felakasztva találták meg szentpétervári házában.
Három nappal később szintén felakasztva találták meg Mihail Watford ukrán származású gáz- és olajmágnást a dél-angliai Surrey-ben található otthonának garázsában.
Az előbbieknél is hátborzongatóbb Vaszilij Melnyikov, a MedSztom nevű óriás orvosi ellátócég vezetőjének esete, a milliárdost feleségével és két kisfiukkal találták holtan több millió dolláros lakásukban, Nyizsnyij Novgorodban.
Április 19-én a katalóniai spanyol rendőrség telefonhívást kapott Fedor Protoszenyától, egy orosz oligarcha fiától, akinek a családjának a népszerű tengerparti üdülőhely, Lloret de Mar környékén van egy villája. A férfi arról számolt be a hatóságoknak, hogy órák óta próbálja felhívni édesanyját Franciaországból, de senki nem veszi fel a telefont. Amikor a rendőrség megérkezett a családi birtokra, megtalálták Fedor Protoszenya szüleinek és nővérének a holttestét. A rendőrség kezdetben azt feltételezte, hogy az apa, Szergej Protoszenya szúrta le a két nőt, majd felakasztotta magát a villa kertjében.
Egy nappal korábban a spanyol tengerparti várostól mintegy 3000 kilométerre fekvő Moszkvában egy hasonló szörnyűség történt. Az orosz rendőrség holtan találta luxuslakásában Vlagyiszlav Avajevet, egy másik milliomost, illetve a feleségét és 13 éves lányát. A TASZSZ orosz állami hírügynökség jelentése szerint Avajev kezében pisztoly volt. A hatóságok szerint Avajev lelőtte a feleségét és a lányát, mielőtt önkezével vetett véget az életének.
A spanyolországi és a moszkvai esetek 24 órán belül történtek meg, mindkettő feltételezett lefolyása feltűnően hasonló. Protoszenya és Avajev egyaránt multimilliomos oligarchák voltak, akik az orosz olaj- és gázipar ranglétrájának tetején helyezkedtek el. Előbbi egy időben a Novatek földgázipari vállalat elnökhelyettese volt, míg Avajev a Gazprombank alelnökeként tevékenykedett.
A nemzetközi sajtóban Andrej Krukovszkij halálát is a rejtélyes esetek közé sorolják. A 37 éves férfi a Szocsi közelében található Gazpromhoz tartozó Krasznaja Poljana síközpont vezérigazgatója volt. Állítólag Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök többször is meghívta vendégeit oda síelni. A Kommerszant orosz lap szerint Krukovszkij május 2-án egy középkori várromhoz ment túrázni, de lezuhant egy szikláról és meghalt.
A 61 éves Jurij Voronov annyiban „kilóg a sorból”, hogy az orosz üzletember halálának körülményei nem öngyilkosságra vagy balesetre utalnak. Voronovot fejbe lőtték, holttestét a birtokának úszómedencéjében találták meg, Szentpétervártól nem messze. Az orosz üzletembernek logisztikai cége volt, amely a Gazprommal állt jövedelmező szerződéses kapcsolatban. A nyomozók arra gyanakszanak, hogy az orosz oligarcha halálának hátterében üzleti vita állhat, felesége szerint Voronov úgy gondolta, tisztességtelen vállalkozók pénzt csaltak ki tőle.
A nemzetközi sajtóban megjelent cikkekben többször is arra céloztak, hogy az öngyilkosságokat megrendezhették, sőt, a Kremlnek vagy akár magának Vlagyimir Putyinnak is köze lehet hozzájuk.
A Deutsche Welle nemrégiben felidézte, hogy az elmúlt években több merényletkísérletet is elkövettek a Kreml bírálói ellen.
2020 augusztusában Alekszej Navalnij ellenzéki vezetőt novicsok idegméreggel mérgezték meg a tomszki repülőtéren. Két évvel korábban Szergej Szkripalt, az orosz GRU hírszerző ügynökség volt vezetőjét mérgezték meg hasonló módon. Mind Navalnij, mind Szkripal túlélte.
2006-ban Alekszandr Litvinyenkót, az Egyesült Királyságba disszidált egykori orosz biztonsági tisztet Londonban radioaktív polóniummal halálosan megmérgezték.
2017-ben az USA Today egy vizsgálat eredményét tette közzé, amely szerint három év alatt legalább 38 oligarcha halt meg vagy tűnt el.
A Deutsche Welle arra hívta fel a figyelmet: ami a 2022-es incidensekkel kapcsolatban feltűnő, hogy az elhunyt oligarchák egyike sem volt ismert arról, hogy kritikus nyilvános megjegyzéseket tett volna az ukrajnai invázióról. Ugyanakkor egyikük sem szerepelt az inváziót követően összeállított nemzetközi szankciós listákon – tette hozzá a német lap. Erre májusban a Newsweek is rámutatott.
A Deutsche Welle feldolgozta a Warsaw Institute, egy Oroszországgal és biztonságpolitikával foglalkozó lengyel think tank bejegyzését, amely szerint mind az orosz rendőrség, mind a Gazprom biztonsági szolgálatai gyorsan vizsgálatot indítottak az Oroszországon belül történt halálesetek ügyében.
„Lehetséges, hogy néhány magas rangú, Kremlhez kötődő személy most eltussolja az állami vállalatoknál elkövetett csalás nyomait” – idézte a Deutsche Welle az intézet Russia Monitor nevű oldalán megjelent bejegyzését.
Ezek persze csak spekulációk, ahogy a német lap is hozzátette: nincs olyan bizonyíték, amely alátámasztaná a lengyel thin tank elméletet vagy egy harmadik fél erőszakos részvételére vonatkozó feltételezést.
