Тридцять сім із сорока резервістів 69-ї винищувальної ескадрильї ВПС Ізраїлю в неділю оголосили, що на знак протесту проти реструктуризації системи правосуддя не братимуть участі в навчаннях, запланованих на середу, але все одно в разі потреби виконуватимуть бойові місії, повідомили в неділю новинний портал газети Yediot Ahronot, вебсайт ynet та англомовний новинний портал The Times of Israel.
Ця ескадрилья вважається одним із найважливіших підрозділів військово-повітряних сил. Вона брала участь в атаці на сирійський ядерний реактор у 2007 році та інших атаках у Сирії, які приписують Ізраїлю. Армійське керівництво заявляє, що відмова від навчань є серйозним інцидентом, оскільки навіть резервні винищувачі не можуть самостійно вирішувати, які місії виконувати. Ця заява викликала побоювання серед командирів, що пілоти пропустять підготовку до польотів.
«У середу, 8 березня, ми присвятимо час дискусіям і роздумам про демократію та єдність народу. Тому цього дня не вийдемо на службу в резерві, за винятком оперативної діяльності. До кінця тижня ми будемо з’являтися за графіком», – написали пілоти своєму начальству, повідомляє комерційний телеканал Channel 12.
На їхнє прохання командувач ВПС прийняв у п’ятницю близько 50 досвідчених пілотів, які, за повідомленнями газет, висловили серйозну стурбованість запланованими судовими змінами, у тому числі можливістю бути звинуваченими різними міжнародними органами, зокрема Міжнародним кримінальним судом (МКС).
Досі Ізраїль заперечував скарги до МКС тим, що ізраїльська судова система є достатньо сильною та незалежною, щоб розслідувати й судити за порушення, скоєні ізраїльськими військовими, та виносити вироки. Однак критики юридичних кроків уряду Беньяміна Нетаньягу попереджають, що обмеження повноважень Верховного суду послабить на міжнародній арені саме цей аргумент.

За даними ЗМІ, легкомоторний літак майже приземлився на трасі поряд із аеропортом Ньюкасла. У ході розслідування з’ясувалося, що за штурвалом перебував 72-річний чоловік, який з висоти польоту переплутав автомобільну дорогу зі смугою. Ситуацію ускладнювало і те, що інцидент стався на ніч.
На щастя, за допомогою авіадиспетчерської служби британцю вдалося посадити літак благополучно. Однак, незважаючи на помилку, йому дозволили продовжити польоти після додаткового навчання, спрямованого на недопущення такої ситуації. Повідомляється, що льотчик на той момент був один на борту.

На літаку Boeing 737-800 авіакомпанії Ethiopian Airlines, який летів із Хартума в Аддіс-Абебу, стався незвичайний інцидент, оскільки літак не приземлився в столиці Ефіопії через те, що пілоти заснули, – повідомило CNN із посиланням на Aviation Herald, пише інформаційний портал Index.
Згідно з фактами, отриманими інформаційним агентством, літак летів на висоті 37 000 футів на автопілоті, коли проминув пункт призначення. Повітряне управління, очевидно, не змогло зв’язатися з екіпажем, незважаючи на неодноразові спроби. Ось чому було ввімкнено тривогу, коли літак вийшов за межі пункту призначення.
Літак щасливо приземлився приблизно через 25 хвилин.
«Ми отримали повідомлення про те, що рейс ET343 із Хартума до Аддис-Абеби тимчасово втратив зв’язок із диспетчером повітряного руху 15 серпня», – йдеться в заяві Ethiopian Airlines, виданій у п’ятницю.
