Az eset Kaccsi körzet Dhadar településén történt. A helyszín mintegy 120 kilométerre délkeletre Beludzsisztán tartomány székhelyétől, Kvettától.
Abdul Hai Amír, a helyi rendőrség magas rangú tisztviselője elmondta, hogy az öngyilkos merénylő motorkerékpárjával hátulról nekihajtott a rendőröket szállító teherautónak. Hozzátette, hogy a halálos áldozatok száma emelkedhet, mert a sérültek közül nyolcan válságos állapotban vannak.
Beludzsisztán nagy, szegény és ritkán lakott tartomány Pakisztán délnyugati részén, Afganisztánnal és Iránnal határos. A térségben rendszeresek az etnikai, felekezeti és szeparatista hátterű erőszakos cselekmények.
A tartomány szénhidrogénekben és ásványi anyagokban gazdag, de a mintegy 12 milliós lakossága arra panaszkodik, hogy kirekesztik és megfosztják természeti erőforrásaitól.
Az erőszakcselekmények egy részét a Kína által tervezett, 50 milliárd dolláros Kína-Pakisztán Gazdasági Folyosó (CPEC) keretében a tartományban épülő létesítményeken dolgozó munkások, valamint rendvédelmi szervezetek tagjai ellen követik el. Beludzs szakadár csoportok többször hangoztatták, hogy ellenzik a kínai befektetéseket Beludzsisztánban, és azt vetik a kormány szemére, hogy az ott megtermelt javak más pakisztáni tartományokhoz kerülnek.
A tartományi rendőrséget ezen felül rendszeresen támadják a pakisztáni Tehrík-i-Talibán Pakisztán (TTP) nevű szélsőséges iszlamista szervezet fegyveresei is. Pakisztán az utóbbi hónapokban – különösen azóta, hogy a tálibok 2021 augusztusában átvették az ellenőrzést Afganisztánban – egyre romló biztonsági helyzettel néz szembe, különösen az Afganisztánnal határos régiókban.

A rendelkezésre álló információk szerint egy 40 éves férfi életét vesztette a robbanásban, és legalább öten megsebesültek. A rendőrség később közölte, hogy a sérülteket kórházba szállították, és sérüléseik nem súlyosak. A robbanószert – amely valószínűleg kézigránát volt – a férfi saját maga aktiválta a bíróság bejáratánál.
A rendőrség feltételezése szerint a férfi öngyilkos akart lenni.
Az épületben a robbanás idején sokan tartózkodtak, a helyszínre vonult a rendőrség, a mentőszolgálat és a tűzoltóság, a vizsgálat folyamatban van.
Az utóbbi hónapokban több bombafenyegetés is érkezett az állami szervekhez Montenegróban, de a rendőrség egyetlen esetben sem talált robbanószert.

Többtucatnyi szarvasmarha-tenyésztő és járókelő vesztette életét, valamint többen megsebesültek egy pokolgéprobbanás következtében Nigéria középső részének északi térségében – közölte helyi idő szerint szerdán a kormány egy illetékese és a szarvasmarha-tenyésztők szóvivője.
Mint a szóvivő elmondta: a környéket megrázó robbanás kedden éjjel történt, amikor fulani pásztorok a marháikat Benuéből áthajtották Nasarawába, mivel Benuéban legeltetési tilalom van érvényben, és a törvénysértők állatait elkobozzák. A szóvivő szerint a robbanás legalább 54 embert azonnal megölt, de nagyon sokan meg is sérültek.
Abdullahi Sule, Nasarawa kormányzója megerősítette, hogy bombarobbanás történt, és közölte, hogy már tanácskozott a biztonsági szervekkel arról, hogy az incidens miatti feszültséget hogyan lehet kezelni.
Az adott térségben, amelyet középső övezetnek neveznek, gyakran történnek összecsapások a fulani pásztorok és a túlnyomórészt keresztény farmerek között, amelyet gyakran etnikai-vallási konfliktusként írnak le.

Bombatámadás történt Stockhomban szerda hajnalban. Svéd lapinformációk szerint a város északi részében elhelyezkedő Kista kerület egyik épületének lépcsőháza elé pokolgépet helyeztek, amely 4:30-kor lépett működésbe.
A kedd hajnali esethez hasonló bombatámadás történt Stockholmban szerda hajnalban. A kiérkező rendőri egységek és a technikusok lezárták a környéket, és megkezdték a helyszínelést. A bombatámadásban senki sem sérült meg, az épületben viszont jelentős kár keletkezett.
Egyelőre nem tudni, hogy a mostani bombatámadásnak köze van-e a keddi, Stockholm belvárosában végrehajtott akcióhoz. Ola Österling rendőrségi szóvivő az Aftonbladetnek elmondta, alaposan kivizsgálják az esetet.
Feltételezhető, hogy a Svédországban egyre jobban eluralkodó – zömében migrációs hátterű – bandák közötti háborúról lehet szó, amely valóságos vadnyugattá kezdi változtatni az egykor nyugalmáról, jólétéről híres skandináv államot.

A közösségi médiában több kép is terjed a rendőrségi épületben álló, füstölő autóról. A malajziai határ mentén fekvő dél-thaiföldi tartományokban évtizedek óta nem nagyon voltak felkelések. Dél-Thaiföldön augusztusban legalább 17 helyen törtek ki lázadások, amelyekben legalább hét ember megsebesült.

Szélsőséges pakisztáni tálibok pokolgépes merényletet követtek el az ország északnyugati részén található Kabalban, a robbantásban nyolcan életüket vesztették – számolt be az MTI a helyi rendőrségi forrásokra hivatkozva szerdán.
A támadásnak egy kormánypárti milícia egykori vezetője, Idrísz Hán is áldozatul esett, az úton elhelyezett pokolgép az ő járműve alatt robbant fel – tájékoztatott Zahíd Navaz Marvat, Szvat körzet rendőrségi illetékese. Egy másik rendőrségi tisztségviselő hozzátette: Hán mellett két rendőr, két testőr és három mezőgazdasági munkás halt meg a támadásban.
A Szvat-völgyet 2007 és 2009 között, felkelésük kezdetén egy ideig a Tehrík-i-Talibán Pakisztán (TTP) harcosai tartották ellenőrzésük alatt. Elkövetőként is ők jelentkeztek.
Tettüket azzal indokolták, hogy Hán a múltban a csoport több tagjával végzett.
Évekkel korábban Iszlámábád bátorította olyan milíciák létrejöttét, amelyek helyi szinten vették fel a harcot a pakisztáni tálibok terjeszkedő befolyásával. Ezeket aztán leszerelték, miután a TTP a hadsereg 2014-es offenzíváját követően jelentősen veszített erejéből. Azonban a szélsőségesek a tálibok tavalyi afganisztáni hatalomátvételét követően új lendületet kaptak.
A TTP fegyveresei kedden összecsaptak a hadsereggel az Afganisztánnal határos Kurram körzetben. A harcokban három pakisztáni katona életét vesztette.
Bár a TTP különbözik az afganisztáni táliboktól, a két csoport ugyanazon az ideológiai alapon áll,
és hosszú közös történelemre tekint vissza.
Az iszlámábádi kormány a múltban többször vádolta azzal Afganisztánt, hogy lehetővé teszi a TTP-nek, hogy a területéről kiindulva hajtson végre támadásokat Pakisztánban. Kabul ezt mindvégig tagadta.
Májusban béketárgyalások kezdődtek a pakisztáni tálibok és az iszlámábádi kormány között Afganisztán közvetítésével. Bár a TTP júniusban tűzszünetet hirdetett a folyamat megkönnyítése érdekében, azóta is többször előfordultak összecsapások a felek között.

Legkevesebb tizenkét halálos áldozatot követelt egy szomáliai hotel ellen elkövetett pokolgépes merénylet – közölte Hasszán Dhiszov helyi rendőrségi szóvivő.
Előzetes értesülések szerint öngyilkos merénylő robbantotta fel robbanószerrel megpakolt teherautóját a fővárostól, Mogadishutól északkeletre található Dzsovar településének egyik szállodája előtt – tájékoztatott az MTI.
A merénylet elkövetőjeként az al-Sabab szomáliai iszlamista terrorszervezet jelentkezett. A szélsőségesek szerint a terrortámadásban katonákkal és helyi politikusokkal végeztek.
Az érintett hotel politikusok és üzletemberek körében volt népszerű. A rendőrség úgy tudja, a merényletben a regionális vezetés két minisztere is megsebesült. Mindemellett félő, hogy a halottak száma tovább növekedhet, mivel a robbantás a környező lakóházakban és üzletekben is komoly károkat okozott.
Szomália júniusban beiktatott új államfője, Hasszán Sejk Mohamud határozottabb katonai fellépést ígért a terroristákkal szemben. Szomáliában a biztonsági helyzet rendkívül törékeny, elsősorban az al-Kaida iszlamista terrorszervezethez köthető al-Sabab merényletei miatt. Tovább nehezíti a helyzetet a negyven éve nem tapasztalt aszály, amely miatt már több mint 800 ezren hagyták el falvaikat.
