За даними поліції, пожежу в 17-поверховому будинку в Бристолі спричинив електричний самокат.
Службу екстреної допомоги викликали в район Істон міста Бристоль на світанку в неділю. Пожежа виникла на останньому поверсі Twinnell House на Wills Drive.
Імовірно, чоловік загинув, намагаючись врятуватися від вогню через вікно, з якого, на жаль, випав.
Внаслідок пожежі постраждало вісім осіб, яких доставили до лікарні. Один із них отримав серйозні опіки, повідомляє Sky News.
Із 17-поверхового будинку евакуювали близько 90 мешканців, пункт тимчасового перебування облаштували в церкві неподалік.
До гасіння пожежі залучили 11 вогнеборців.

Поліція Південної Кореї розпочала розслідування самогубства цілої родини — батьків та 10-річної дитини — після того, як їхній автомобіль з тілами знайшли біля узбережжя острова Вандо, — повідомляють місцеві ЗМІ.
Своїм родичам жертви сказали, що вирушають у відпустку, після чого зникли. Журналісти зазначають, що перед зникненням у сім’ї прострочили платежі за кредитами, які сім’я взяла для спекуляцій на ринку криптовалют. Зазначається, що одним із найбільших активів була криптовалюта LUNA, крах якої став тригером для настання «криптозими» — самогубства власників LUNA не рідкість, постраждали навіть українці.
Поліція, яка вивчає нещодавні пошукові записи пари в інтернеті, виявила докази численних пошуків, пов’язаних із «криптоактивами» та «снодійним». Незадовго до зникнення для матері в цій родині лікарі виписали двохтижневий запас снодійного.

Офіс Генерального прокурора активізує роботу ювенального
напрямку. Захист прав дитини є одним із пріоритетів у діяльності органів
прокуратури. Вже повністю реформоване відповідне управління Офісу та розширені
його повноваження. Про це розповів заступник Генерального прокурора Гюндуз
Мамедов під час зустрічі з уповноваженим Президента з прав дитини Миколою
Кулебою.
За його словами, наразі Офіс працює над повним
перезавантаженням системи захисту прав дитини: від розробки Стратегії з
впровадженням кращих світових практик та ролі прокуратури в цих процесах до
реалізації пілотних проектів з медіації та превенції. Також на зустрічі
обговорили питання необхідності формування повноцінної системи ювенальної
юстиції – створення спеціалізованого інституту: суддів, слідчих, прокурорів та
адвокатів.
«Минулого року в Україні зареєстровано майже 111
самогубств чи спроб самогубств неповнолітніх, у яких кожен сьомий не досяг навіть
і 10-річного віку. Понад 90% цих кримінальних проваджень закрито. Я вже не
говорю про приклади булінгу, кіберзлочинності, порнографії, про дітей на
окупованих територіях та у «сірій» зоні. Все це показує нам, що захист дітей не
був на порядку денному. Ми будемо це принципово і кардинально змінювати», – зазначив
Гюндуз Мамедов.
Також Гюндуз Мамедов та Микола Кулеба домовились про
спільну реалізацію найближчим часом у Києві та Київській області пілотного
проекту, за принципом американського Children’s Justice Centre.
