Армія оборони Ізраїлю в неділю, 6 жовтня, що в рамках нової наземної операції оточила місто Джабалія на півночі Гази.

У повідомленні зазначають, що ізраїльські військові оточили місто Джабалія вночі після отримання розвідувальних даних про бойовиків і інфраструктуру ХАМАС у цьому районі. Щонайменше 22 людини загинули внаслідок ізраїльського авіаудару по школі для внутрішньо переміщених осіб у місті Газа, повідомила палестинська влада. Ізраїльські військові повідомляють про удар по командному центру ХАМАС.
Внаслідок авіаудару загинули здебільшого жінки та діти, повідомило Міністерство охорони здоров’я сектора Газа. За даними урядової медіа-служби, підконтрольної ХАМАСу, серед загиблих 13 дітей і 6 жінок.
Ізраїльські військові, у свою чергу, стверджують, що в будівлі, яка колись використовувалася як школа, розташовувався командний центр ХАМАСу. Вони також учергове звинуватили палестинську організацію у використанні цивільних об’єктів у військових цілях.
На кадрах Reuters із місця події видно підірвані стіни та спалені меблі, а також діри в стелі однієї кімнати, через які люди намагалися врятувати свої речі.
За словами одного зі свідків – Саїда аль-Малахі, дві ракети влучили в дітей і жінок на шкільному майданчику і поблизу не було жодного чоловіка.
Четверо медичних працівників загинуло під час ізраїльського авіаудару по складах міністерства у Рафаху, на півдні сектора Газа, повідомило Міністерство охорони здоров’я сектора Газа. У відомстві додали, що рятувальники не змогли дістатися до загиблих або поранених.
Ізраїльська армія заявила, що її війська, які діють у Рафаху з травня, вбили десятки бойовиків за останні тижні, а також знищили військову інфраструктуру та тунельні міни.

Військові Армії оборони Ізраїлю (ЦАХАЛ) визволили ізраїльського заручника, якого бойовики ХАМАСу утримували на півдні сектора Гази.

Як зазначається, 52-річний Каїд Фархан аль-Каді був викрадений терористами ХАМАСу із громади Мівтахім. Його знайшли спецпризначенці елітного підрозділу ВМС Ізраїлю «Шаєтет 13» у тунелі на півдні анклаву.
За словами військових, операцію з визволення аль-Каді була складною.
Наразі, як вважається, 104 із 251 заручника, викраденого ХАМАСом 7 жовтня минулого року, залишаються у Газі, включаючи тіла 34 осіб, загибель яких підтвердив ЦАХАЛ.

ЦАХАЛ повідомив, що їхні сили знайшли тіла під час нічної операції на півдні Смуги Гази.
“Сили ідентифікували заручників як Ягева Бухштаба, Олександра Данцига, Авраама Мундера, Йорама Мецгера, Надава Попплвелла та Хаїма Перрі”, ‒ йдеться у повідомленні.
Коли і як вони загинули військові не деталізують.
П’ятьом із заручників було понад 50 років під час захоплення, а троє мали членів сім’ї, яких звільнили під час тижневого припинення вогню в листопаді.

Більше сотні людей загинули і десятки отримали поранення в результаті нападу на будівлю школи, яка прихистила біженців у Секторі Гази, повідомило в суботу офіційне палестинське інформаційне агентство. У заяві ізраїльської армії йдеться, що метою нападу був командний центр ХАМАС.
Згідно із заявою Міністерства інформації ХАМАС у Газі, «ізраїльські удари були спрямовані на переміщених осіб, які молилися на світанку». Армія оборони Ізраїлю (ЦАХАЛ) зі свого боку повідомила, що її військово-повітряні сили (ВПС) «завдали удару по командному центру, який використовувався як схованка для терористів і командирів ХАМАС».
«ЦАХАЛ завдав удару по терористах ХАМАС, які керували центром управління в школі в передмісті Гази Туффах. Перед ударом було вжито низку заходів для зменшення жертв серед цивільного населення, включаючи використання високоточних боєприпасів, повітряного спостереження і розвідувальної інформації», – заявили в ЦАХАЛі.

У Вашингтоні на вихідних біля Білого дому пройшла пропалестинська демонстрація з тисячами учасників на знак протесту проти політики Джо Байдена щодо Сектора Газа.
Учасники так званої демонстрації «червоної лінії» вимагали, зокрема, щоби США припинили надавати військову допомогу Ізраїлю. Демонстранти, частково одягнені в червоний одяг, оточили резиденцію президента червоною стрічкою, яка сягала довжини понад три кілометри.
Стрічка була посиланням на нещодавню заяву Джо Байдена, в якій він стверджував, що операція ізраїльської армії в місті Рафах на півдні Гази не перетнула «червоної лінії», котра призведе до припинення військових поставок США.
Серед транспарантів протестувальників був один, який звинувачував Джо Байдена в геноциді палестинських мирних жителів, інші були з вимогою створення «вільної Палестини».
Частина учасників демонстрації облила скульптури біля Білого дому червоною фарбою. Через проведення цієї акції в центральній частині Вашингтона був оголошений стан підвищеної готовності.
Президент Джо Байден в той день перебував у Парижі та вів переговори з президентом Франції Еммануелем Макроном, зокрема і щодо конфлікту між Ізраїлем і ХАМАСом.

Згідно з повідомленням ісламістської терористичної організації ХАМАС, яка контролює Сектор Газа, система охорона здоров’я в охоплених боями районах на межі розвалу. Причиною цього становища організація назвала відсутність палива.
У Міністерстві охорони здоров’я Сектора Газа підкреслили, що без палива не можуть працювати агрегати лікарень, машини швидкої допомоги і транспортні засоби, які використовуються для транспортування медперсоналу.
Агентство ООН для допомоги палестинським біженцям і організації робіт на Близькому Сході (UNRWA) на платформі Х заявило щодо Рафаху, що на південній частині Сектора Газа, через атаки Ізраїлю, виїхало вже 360 тисяч осіб.
Згідно з повідомленням французького інформаційного агентства AFP, в неділю ввечері ізраїльська армія (ЦАХАЛ) здійснила ще одну повітряну та наземну атаку на Рафах, населення якого становить близько 1,4 мільйона. Бої між військовими ЦАХАЛу та бойовиками ХАМАСу в основному точаться в східній частині міста, поблизу єгипетського кордону.
Про важкі бої повідомляють і з табору біженців Джабалія, що в північній частині Сектора Газа, куди ізраїльська армія увійшла з танками. З початку війни в жовтні велика кількість людей шукала притулку від бойових дій у Джабалії, який є найбільшим із восьми таборів для біженців у Секторі Газа.
Представники системи охорони здоров’я Палестини повідомили в понеділок, що під будівлями, зруйнованими внаслідок авіаударів по табору, було знайдено 20 тіл, відомо також про десятки поранених. За останньою інформацією місцевої влади, кількість загиблих у Секторі Газа з початку війни в жовтні минулого року вже перевищила 35 тисяч.
