Az orosz csapatok erőteljes támadást indítottak a Donyeck megyei Szoledar ellen, miután nem sikerült elfoglalniuk a várost – jelentette be hétfőn Hanna Maljar védelmi miniszter-helyettes a Telegram-csatornáján, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Maljar azt írta: „a Szoledar elfoglalására tett sikertelen kísérlet és a visszavonulás után az ellenség átcsoportosítást hajtott végre, pótolta a veszteségeket, további támadóegységeket irányított át, taktikát változtatott, és erőteljes támadást indított.”
A helyettes védelmi miniszter közlése szerint mostanra a megszállók nagyszámú rohamcsapatot állítottak fel, amelyet a Wagner-csoport legjobb tartalékaiból alakítottak ki. „Az ellenség szó szerint katonái holttestein át támad, sorozatvetőkkel, aknavetőkkel, gépfegyverekkel tüzel még a saját harcosaira is. Védőink bátran védik szülőföldjük minden méterét. A heves harcok jelenleg is folynak” – emlékeztetett Hanna Maljar.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy ma Andrij Jermak, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetője arról biztosított, hogy Bahmut és Szoledar továbbra is kitart a folyamatos orosz támadások ellenére.
