Terrortámadás előkészítésének vádjával a belgiumi Brugge (Bruges) bírósága egy csecsen férfit 15, feleségét pedig nyolc év börtönbüntetésre ítélt.
A 26 éves, Nyugat-Flandriában élő Abubakar S. és a 35 éves Liza M. a vád szerint Antwerpen zsidónegyedében, illetve a városban működő egyik melegbár ellen tervezett – az ügyészség szerint „jól előkészített” – terrortámadásokat, valamint rajtaütést terveztek a helyi rendőrség ellen is – írja az MTI.
A pár ellen 2023 tavaszán indult vizsgálat, miután a biztonsági szolgálatok felfedezték, hogy Abubakar S. érdeklődni kezdett az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet iránt, és a Telegram közösségi oldalon említést tett egy lehetséges terrortámadásról. A férfit egy segítőtársnak ajánlkozó titkos ügynök buktatta le tavaly májusban, fegyvereket kínálva neki.
A bíróság terrorszervezetben való részvétel vádja miatt négy év felfüggesztett börtönbüntetéssel sújtotta Abubakar S. testvérét és még egy vádlottat, az ötödik vádlottat pedig felmentette – jelentette a belga hírügynökség.

Huszonhét évi börtönbüntetésre és 600 ezer rubel pénzbüntetésre ítélte terrorcselekmény elkövetése címén Szentpéterváron egy katonai bíróság csütörtökön Darja Trepovát, aki tavaly áprilisban egy pokolgépet tartalmazó szobrot adott át Vladlen Tatarszkij (valódi nevén: Makszim Fomin) bloggernek és haditudósítónak. Tatarszkij a robbanás következtében életét vesztette, további 52 ember pedig megsebesült.
Ez a legsúlyosabb büntetés eddig, amelyet a szovjet idők óta Oroszországban nő kapott. Az eddigi rekord 25 év volt. Letöltendő életfogytiglani büntetés az országban a hatályos jogszabályok értelmében nőre nem szabható ki.
Az elítélt azt vallotta, hogy nem tudott a Tatarszkijt ábrázoló mellszoborba rejtett bombáról. A 26 éves Trepova védelme közölte, hogy fellebbezni akar az ítélet ellen.
Az ügyészség szerint a robbanószerkezetet Trepova élesítette be, a detonációt pedig távirányítással egy észt SIM-kártya segítségével hajtották végre.
A nyomozás megállapította, hogy Trepova április 2-án Ukrajna területén lévő személyek utasítására adott át egy robbanószerkezetet rejtő szobrocskát Tatarszkijnak egy Szentpétervár központjában lévő kávézóban.
Az orosz Nemzeti Terrorizmusellenes Bizottság szerint a Tatarszkij likvidálását célzó akciót az ukrán különleges szolgálatok tervelték ki, a végrehajtáshoz pedig a szabadságvesztésre ítélt Alekszej Navalnij ellenzéki politikus által alapított Korrupcióellenes Küzdelem Alapítvánnyal (FBK) együttműködő „ügynököket” vontak be. Trepova az alapítvány támogatója volt.
A bíróság csütörtökön Dmitrij Kaszincevet 1 év 9 hónap börtönbüntetésre ítélte, amiért a lakásán rejtegette Trepovát, aki a merényletet követően megpróbált külföldre szökni.
A pokolgépes terrortámadás 21 sebesültje január 19-én egy több mint 41 millió rubeles erkölcsi és vagyoni kártérítési igényt nyújtott be Trepova ellen a bíróságon.
Tatarszkij anyja 15 millió rubelre tart igényt. A 40 évet élt Vladlen Tatarszkij a donyecki régióban, Makijivkában született. Ukrajnában fegyveres rablásért ítélték el.
A Donyec-medencei harcok kezdete után megszökött az őrizetből, és a „Donyecki Népköztársaság” oldalán részt vett a harcokban, majd néhány évvel később Moszkvába távozott, ahonnan az Ukrajna elleni háború megindítása után haditudósítóként tért vissza. Telegram-csatornájának mintegy félmillió előfizetője volt. Az orosz elnök posztumusz Bátorságrenddel tüntette ki.

Egy teherautó aljába kapaszkodva szökött meg egy terrorizmussal gyanúsított rab Nagy-Britanniában, ami kínos órákat okoz a kormánynak. Pénteken már harmadik napja folyt a hajtóvadászat a volt katona kézre kerítésére London és egy autópálya körzetében. Az éjszaka egy London határában fekvő nagy parkot is átfésültek, de egyelőre nincs hír arról, hogy látták volna az egykori katonát.
Egy gengszterfilmbe illő szabadulási mutatványt mutatott be egy volt brit katona, aki egy – elvileg – szigorúan őrzött börtönből szökött meg szerda reggel, ami nyomán felmerült: hogy történhetett meg ilyesmi?
A 21 éves Daniel Abed Khalife a londoni Wandsworth börtön konyháján dolgozott séfként, az ellene, terrorizmus támogatásának vádjával tervezett perre várva.
Jelentések szerint szerda reggel sikerült a fehér szakácsruhájában kisétálnia a konyhából, felerősítenie magát egy, az udvaron várakozó ételszállító teherkocsi alvázára, majd a kapun át kijutnia a fegyházból. Ami különösen kínos a brit hatóságoknak: a szökést követő első, döntő fontosságú órákban nem sikerült elfogni, és csütörtök reggel már második napja tartott a hajtóvadászat.
Csütörtök délutáni hírek szerint a Londonból délkelet-Anglián át Dover kikötővárosba futó M20-as autópálya egy szakaszát „vészhelyzeti okokból” lezárták és az úton masszív torlódás alakult ki. Nagy volt az ellenőrzés a doveri kikötőben is.
A rendőrök felhívást tettek közzé a patikusoknak: jelentsék, ha valaki égési sebek kezelésében kér segítséget (a férfit megégethette a kipufogó). Egyes illetékesek szerint csak idő kérdése, mikor fogják el a szökevényt.
A rendőrök közben azonosították a szállítócéget, amelynek járműve érintett volt a szökésben és megjegyezték, hogy elméletileg a börtönben minden teherautót alaposan átvizsgálnak. Alex Chalk brit igazságügyi államtitkár elmondta: a kérdéses kocsi alatt felfedezték a „hevedereket”, amivel a rab odaerősítette magát és vizsgálatot jelentett be, hogy magyarázatot adjanak, hogy történhetett súlyos mulasztás.
Később megjelent egy videó arról a teherautóról, amelyen a hírek szerint meglógott a férfi. A BidFood cég élelmiszerszállító (mely azóta megerősítette, hogy a teherautóját használták a szökéshez) járműve a képeken az Upper Richmond Roadon haladt. Kahlife nem látható rajta, bár a rendőrség által megosztott képen láthatóan egy kis heveder lóg a teherautó hátulja közelében.
Megszólalt a brit Büntetésvégrehajtási Tisztek Szövetsége is, azt állítva, hogy a túlzsúfolt Wandsworth-börtön „elégtelen forrással” dolgozik, krónikusan kevés a börtönőr és a költségmegvonásoknak „meglett az eredménye”. Ezt a börtönt 1851-ben építették és állapotfelmérése során a maximum adható 100-ból 46 százalékos értékelést kapott.
A brit média szerint libanoni gyökerekkel rendelkező Khalife-et egy hamis bombariadó és „az ellenség számára terrorista cselekmény elkövetéséhez hasznos információ átadásával” vádolják. Egy konkrét állítás az, hogy a brit Védelmi Minisztérium személyzeti adatbázisából információkat szerzett, egy másik, hogy három tartályt készített, amelyekből drótok lógtak ki és ezeket laktanyája egyik asztalára helyezte, hogy olyan félelmeket keltsen, hogy azok felrobbanhatnak. Khalife egy korábbi meghallgatáson tagadta a vádakat.
Az ügy azért is kínos a brit kormánynak, mert egyre több jelentés szól a rogyadozó brit közszolgáltatási rendszerről. A tanév elején például többtucatnyi iskolát zártak be az ott használt, porladó beton miatt és nem tudni, hogy ezek mikor nyitnak ki.

Több mint hatvan embert megöltek terroristák Maliban – közölte a nyugat-afrikai kormányt irányító katonai kormány csütörtök éjjel.
Az áldozatok között legkevesebb 49 civil és 15 katona van. A helyi sajtó szerint két helyen követtek el támadást iszlamista fegyveresek; egy folyami hajó és egy katonai tábor ellen. Mintegy 50 terrorista is meghalt a támadásokban.
Maliban a biztonsági és politikai helyzet különösen ingatag. 2012 óta három puccs is volt az országban, és Mali egyes részein az al-Kaidával és az Iszlám állam nevű terrorszervezettel szövetséges szélsőséges csoportok vetették meg a lábukat, amelyek rendszeresen követnek el terrortámadásokat a fegyveres erők és a civil lakosság ellen is.
Az országot 2021 óta irányító katonai kormány júniusban felszólította az ENSZ békefenntartó misszióját, hogy hagyja el az országot. A MINUSMA nevű ENSZ-különítmény az év végéig távozik Maliból és adja át támaszpontjait a mali fegyveres erőknek. A MINUSMA 2012 óta működik az országban, amikor iszlám szélsőségesek gyakorlatilag az ország egész északi részét megszállták. A fegyveresek azóta Nigerben és Burkina Fasóban is aktívak, és mindhárom országban a hadsereg vette át az irányítást.

A Tasznim félhivatalos iráni hírügynökség közölte, hogy a másik elkövető szökésben van.
Egyelőre egyetlen szélsőséges szervezet sem jelentkezett a merénylet elkövetőjeként.
Az állami televízió beszámolója szerint a mecset környékét lezárták.
A muszlim imaház 2022 októberében már terrortámadás célpontja volt. Akkor az Iszlám Állam dzsihadista szervezet szélsőségesei egy lőfegyveres támadásban legkevesebb 15 zarándokot gyilkoltak meg, további 40-en pedig megsebesültek.

A SANA szíriai állami hírügynökség katonai forrásokra hivatkozva megerősítette, hogy terroristatámadást követtek el Deir-ez-Zórban egy katonákat szállító busz ellen, azonban az áldozatok pontos számát nem közölte.
A héten nem ez az Iszlám Állam első rajtaütése, alig három napja az észak-szíriai Rakka tartományban támadtak kormánykatonákra, az összecsapásokban több katona meghalt.

Aleksandar Vucic rendkívüli sajtótájékoztatóján bejelentette, hogy szigorítják a fegyvertartási és fegyverviselési törvényt, felülvizsgálják az eddig kiadott engedélyeket, szigorúbb pszichológiai vizsgálatra lesz szükség az engedélyek kiváltásához, két évig tartó moratóriumot vezetnek be az engedélyek kiadására, továbbá szigorúbb büntetéseket vezetnek be a törvénytelenül tartott fegyverek tulajdonosaira.
A szerb elnök az intézkedésekkel azt szeretné elérni, hogy a legális és az illegális fegyverek száma is jelentősen csökkenjen az országban.
A szerdai iskolai lövöldözéssel összefüggésben – amikor egy 13 éves fiú kilenc embert lelőtt és további hetet megsebesített -, a szerb elnök bejelentette, hogy 1200 embert vesznek fel a rendőrség kötelékébe, hogy a szerbiai iskolákban állandóan legyen egy rendőr, aki felügyeli a rendet.
A kilencvenes évek délszláv háborúi után rengeteg fegyver maradt a civil lakosságnál is, Szerbiában száz lakosra átlagosan 40 lőfegyver jut. Iskolai lövöldözések viszont nagyon ritkán fordulnak elő az országban, és azokat eddig egyetlen esetben sem fiatalkorú követte el.
A szerb kormány csütörtöki ülésén elfogadta a köztársasági elnök előző napi javaslatait, amelyek a fegyvertartási és -viselési törvény módosítására, az eddigi engedélyek felülvizsgálatára, a lőterek ellenőrzésére, valamint a büntethetőség alsó korhatárának 14-ről 12 évre történő csökkentésére vonatkoznak.
Mivel az iskolai lövöldözés elkövetője még nem töltötte be a 14. életévét, büntetőjogilag nem vonható felelősségre. A mladenovaci ámokfutás elkövetője pedig októberben tölti be 21. életévét, így a szerbiai büntető törvénykönyv értelmében életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetésre nem ítélhető, a legszigorúbb kiszabható ítélet 20 év letöltendő szabadságvesztés.

A fehérorosz állambiztonsági szolgálat (KGB) tagjai vasárnap végeztek egy terrorcselekményre készülő fegyveres külföldivel, aki beszivárgott az ország területére – közölte a BelTa helyi hírügynökség a KGB-re hivatkozva.
A tájékoztatás szerint az automata fegyverekkel és kézigránátok felrobbantásával fegyveres ellenállást tanúsító külföldit a lengyel határ melletti Hrodna városában lőtték le. A művelet során polgári lakosok és a karhatalmi erők tagjai nem sebesültek meg.
Az állambiztonság szolgálat, a belügyminisztérium, valamint a határőrség más rendvédelmi szervezetekkel közösen vizsgálatot indított az ügyben.

Fotó: The Times of Israel. A támadó egy Mazdával hajtott a buszmegállóban várakozók közé. Ketten azonnal meghaltak, köztük egy ötéves gyerek és egy, a húszas éveiben járó férfi. Legalább öt embert kórházba vittek – írja helyszíni beszámolójában a The Times of Israel.
A várakozók közül többen fegyvert szegeztek a kocsira, végül egy rendőr lőtte le a helyszínen a sofőrt. A rendőrség szerint az elkövető egy Kelet-Jeruzsálemben élő palesztin volt, de a biztonságiak még ellenőrzik a pontos kilétét. A rendőrség egyértelműen terrorista támadásnak minősítette az esetet.

Pénteken délután egy óra körül egy kisteherautó nagy sebességgel egy brüsszeli étterem teraszára hajtott. Hat sérültről érkezett jelentés, akik azonban nem igényelnek kórházi ellátást. A sofőr elmenekült, nem sokkal később megemelték a terrorfenyegetettségi szintet.
A helyszín Brüsszel központjában, a Rue Neuve bevásárlóutcára merőleges egyik kisebb utcában található. Szemtanúk egybehangzó állítása szerint a kisteherautó előbb elment a terasz mellett, majd megfodult és nagy sebességgel belehajtott.
Az autót vezető férfi elmenekült. A rendőrség lezárta a környéket, a tettest nagy erőkkel keresi, helikoptert is bevetve. A helyszínen van Philippe Close brüsszeli polgármester, aki azt mondta: ”remélem, hogy az elkövetőt nagyon gyorsan azonosítják, úgy gondolom, ez jó úton halad.”
A La Libre című lap értesülései szerint két szemtanú is azt állította, hogy „Allahu Akbar” kiabálást hallottak.
Délután négy óra körül az OCAM, a belga fenyegetéselemzést koordináló testület ideiglenesen egy fokozattal megemelte a terrorkészültségi szintet Brüsszelben. A második szintről a harmadik szintre léptették a készültséget, amely potenciálisan komoly, lehetséges és valószínű fenyegetést jelent, de a közvetlen veszélyre utaló konkrét információk nélkül.
