Két férfit felakasztottak Iránban, akik az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet által elkövetett múlt októberi siíta szentély robbantásában vettek részt, amely 13 ember életét követelte – számolt be róla az IRNA iráni hírügynökség szombat reggel.
Az elítélt férfiak a tárgyalás során bevallották, hogy kapcsolatban áltak az Iszlám Állam afganisztáni dzsihadistáival, s segítettek kitervelni és végrehajtani a sirázi szentélyben történt robbantást.
Az állami televízióban is lejátszott biztonsági felvételeken látható, ahogy egy férfi egy gépkarabélyt rejtegetve belép a kegyhelyre, majd tüzet nyit a bent lévő hívőkre.
Mint később kiderült, az elkövető – aki nem sokkal később belehalt a támadás során elszenvedett sérüléseibe – tádzsikisztáni állampolgár volt.
Az Iszlám Állam folyamatos fenyegetettséget jelent a Közel-Kelet országaira. A szervezet iszlamistái már korábban is hajtottak végre terrortámadást Iránban, ők feleltek például a 2017-es összehangolt dupla teheráni terrortámadásért, mely során egyszerre érte támadás a teheráni parlamentet és az egykori iráni forradalmi vezető, Ruhollah Khomeini ajatollah mauzóleumát, a két támadásban 17-en haltak meg.

Ukrajna terroristaállamnak nevezte Oroszországot az ENSZ hágai székhelyű Nemzetközi Bírósága (ICJ) meghallgatásán a Nova Kahovka-i víztározó gátja elleni robbantásos támadás miatt – tájékoztatott a L’essentiel című francia nyelvű luxembourgi hírportál kedden.
A Nemzetközi Bíróság négynapos meghallgatást kezdett kedden azon ukrán-orosz ügyben, amelyet Kijev a kelet-ukrajnai szakadárok orosz támogatása és a megszállt Krím ukrán lakóival való rossz bánásmód miatt indított.
A beszámoló szerint a meghallgatás nyitóbeszédében Anton Korinevics, az ukrán külügyminisztérium nemzetközi jogi osztályának igazgatója, az ukrán fegyveres erők jelentésére hivatkozva emlékeztetett: az orosz erők kedd hajnalban felrobbantották a dél-ukrajnai Herszon megyében lévő, jelenleg orosz ellenőrzés alatt álló Nova Kahovka víztározójának gátját a Dnyeper folyón.
A kahovkai vízerőmű elleni támadás miatt civileket kell evakuálni a térségből, és súlyos ökológiai kár fenyeget – hívta fel a figyelmet.
„Oroszország tettei egy terroristaállam, egy agresszor tettei” – fogalmazott a diplomata, majd hozzátette: Oroszország nem tudja legyőzni Ukrajnát a csatatéren, ezért a polgári infrastruktúrát veszi célba, hogy megpróbálja behódoltani az országot.
Korinevics továbbá arra hívta fel a figyelmet, hogy a gátrobbantás veszélyezteti a zaporizzsjai atomerőmű biztonságát is.
Jens Stoltenberg NATO-főtitkár Twitter-üzenetében „felháborító tettnek” nevezte az civilek ezreinek életét veszélyeztető gátrobbantást, ami – mint írta – ismét megmutatta Oroszország háborújának brutalitását.

Hét személyt őrizetbe vettek a belga hatóságok csütörtök este több flandriai városban, akiket terrorista merénylet kitervelésével gyanúsítanak – számolt be a vrt.be hírportál a szövetségi ügyészség bejelentésére hivatkozva.
Az őrizetbe vett személyek a húszas éveikben járnak, csecsen származásúak, közülük hárman belga állampolgárok, és mindannyiban az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet lelkes támogatói.
A hatóságok szerint a gyanúsítottak nem állapodtak meg konkrét célpontban, de több forgatókönyvet is átbeszéltek tervük véghezvitelével kapcsolatban. Az ügyészség nem közölte, hogy a fiataloknál a házkutatáskor találtak-e fegyvereket.
Az ügyészség szerint gyilkossági kísérlettel, terroristacsoport tevékenységében való részvétellel és terrortámadás előkészítésével emelhetnek vádat a fiatalokból álló csoport ellen. Eric Van Der Sypt, a szövetségi ügyészség munkatársa azt mondta, hogy rövid időn belül ez már a harmadik sejt, amely terrortámadást akart végrehajtani Belgiumban.
A támadásokban legalább 376 ember vesztette életét és több mint 2300-an megsebesültek. A férfi 2015 óta tartózkodik Belgiumban.

Vigyukov nyomozó tegnap azt mondta, hogy ettől az ügytől (amelyet szélsőséges szervezet alapítása címén indítottak) elkülönítettek egy terroristaügyet arról, hogy miközben börtönben ülök, terrortámadásokat követek el. Ezt az ügyet külön katonai bíróság fogja tárgyalni” – mondta Navalnij, aki a Meduza ellenzéki portál helyszíni jelentése szerint videokapcsolaton keresztül szólalt fel a bíróságon.
„Ebben az ügyben 30 év vár rám, a következőben pedig nyilvánvalóan életfogytiglan.”

A bíróság szerdán kezdte tárgyalni a nyomozók indítványát, hogy korlátozzák azt az időt, amelyet Navalnij az ellene szélsőségesség címén indított eljárás 196 kötetre rúgó anyagának megismerésére fordíthat. A bíróság zárt tárgyalást rendelt el az orosz Nyomozó Bizottság (SZK) kezdeményezésére.
A tárgyaláson az SZK képviselője bejelentette, hogy 11 ember ellen adtak ki körözést a Navalnij ellen szélsőséges szervezet létrehozása címén indított eljárás keretében.
Navalnij kilencéves szabadságvesztését tölti
Jelenlegi börtönbüntetését csalás és a bíróság megsértése miatt szabtak ki rá 2021-ben. Az ellenzéki politikus jogi képviselője, Vagyim Kobzev ügyvéd tavaly októberben közölte, hogy ügyfelét szélsőségességgel, terrorizmusra való felhívással és a nácizmus rehabilitálásával vádolták meg.
Az orosz Szövetségi Pénzügyi Ellenőrző Szolgálat Navalnijt, Ljubov Szobolt és a Korrupcióellenes Küzdelem Alapítvány (FBK) több más munkatársát felvette januárban a terroristák és szélsőségesek listájára.
Az orosz ellenzék vezéreként emlegették bebörtönzésekor
Alekszej Navalnij Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök politikájának bírálójaként vált ismertté. 2020 augusztusában, egy szibériai út során, nyugati laboratóriumok szerint idegméreggel követtek el támadást ellene.
Külföldi gyógykezelése után, 2021. januárban visszatért Moszkvába, ahol letartóztatták, majd egy korábbi, felfüggesztett szabadságvesztés-büntetése letöltésére ítélték, miután a hatóságok szerint megsértette a feltételes szabadlábra helyezés előírásait. Ezt követően újabb eljárások indultak ellene.
2021. júniusban bíróság tiltotta be Navalnij regionális irodáinak és korrupcióellenes alapítványának működését.

A biztonsági erők külföldi hírszerző szolgálatok több mint harminc segítőjét fogták el – közölte kedden Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz elnök.
Úgy fogalmazott, hogy a külföldi terroristák éppen „a társadalom legaljasabbjaira hagyatkoznak”.
Mint mondta, a biztonsági szolgálatoknak még sok a teendőjük e tekintetben.
Lukasenka kijelentette, hogy Fehéroroszország kész az együttműködés elmélyítésére Oroszországgal, és köszönetet mondott az eddig átadott információkért.
A fehérorosz elnök márciusban közölte, hogy őrizetbe vettek több személyt a macsuliscsi katonai repülőtéren februárban végrehajtott robbantással kapcsolatban. Megerősítette, hogy egy orosz Berijev A-50 típusú katonai repülőgépet ért támadás február 26-án, a gép azonban „nem rongálódott meg súlyosan”. A fő gyanúsítottat, valamint több mint húsz, Fehéroroszországban tartózkodó tettestársát elfogták.

Az Egyesült Államok külügyminisztériuma megerősítette azokat az információkat, melyek szerint Szaif al-Adel egyiptomi veterán katona az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorhálózat új vezetője, aki jelenleg Iránban tartózkodik.
Ned Price, az amerikai külügyminisztérium szóvivője elmondta, hogy Washington egyetért azzal a hétfőn kiszivárogtatott ENSZ-jelentéssel, amely szerint a világszervezet azt feltételezi, hogy Szaif al-Adel a terrorszervezet de facto új vezére.
Price továbbá megvádolta Iránt, hogy segíti a terrorhálózatot azzal, hogy elnézi, hogy annak tagjai az országban tartózkodnak. „Biztonságos tartózkodási lehetőséget biztosítva az al-Kaidának Irán újabb példát szolgáltat arra, hogy széles körben támogatja a terrorizmust és azzal együtt a közel-keleti és még tágabb térség destabilizálását” – fogalmazott a szóvivő.
Szaif al-Adel azután vált az al-Kaida új vezetőjévé, hogy elődjét, Ajmán az-Zaváhírit tavaly nyáron megölték egy amerikai légicsapásban, Kabulban.
A terrorszervezet ugyanakkor nem ismeri el hivatalosan Ajmán az-Zaváhíri halálát.

A pozsonyi melegbárnál történt merénylet elkövetője eredetileg Eduard Heger szlovák kormányfőt akarta meggyilkolni – közölte Stefan Hamran szlovák rendőrfőnök kedd este a TV Joj helyi televízió műsorában. Elmondása szerint a 19 éves fegyveres elkövető október 12-én többször is megközelítette a miniszterelnök magánlakását. Mivel a politikus nem volt otthon, ezért a férfi a városközpontban található melegbárhoz ment, amely már szintén hosszabb ideje lehetséges célpontjai között szerepelt.
Eduard Heger A támadó a múlt szerdán agyonlőtt egy 26 és egy 23 éves férfit a Teplaren nevű szórakozóhely előtt, és súlyosan megsebesített egy 28 éves nőt, majd elmenekült. A rendőrség csütörtökön holtan találta; feltételezhetően öngyilkos lett.
A támadó a gyilkosságok előtt közzétette az interneten, hogy mire készül. A Twitteren és egy másik csatornán gyűlölködő üzeneteket tett közzé szexuális kisebbségekkel kapcsolatban, illetve közölt egy homofób és neonáci hangvételű „kiáltványszerűséget” is, amelyben az LMBTI-közösség tagjaival és zsidókkal szembeni erőszakra buzdított – írta akkor a Sme.sk hírportál.
A rendőrség kezdetben gyűlölet-bűncselekményként kezelte az esetet, hétfőtől azonban már terrorcselekménynek tekinti a kettős gyilkosságot és gyilkossági kísérletet.

Repülőgépet lopott el egy férfi, majd azzal fenyegetőzött, hogy egy bevásárlóközpontba vezeti az Egyesült Államok Mississippi államában, emiatt az üzletközpontot és mellette található benzinkutat kiürítették, a környék lakosságát figyelmeztették.
Helyszíni sajtótudósítások szerint a többmotoros repülő a kora reggeli órákban szállt fel Tupelo városának közelében, és helyi idő szerint késő délelőtt még mindig a levegőben körözött. A hatóságok egy ideig rádiókapcsolatban voltak a géppel, majd ez megszakadt.
Tupelo rendőrsége közölte, hogy teljes készültségben vannak, és tekintetbe véve a repülőgép teljesítményét az elkötött repülő által fenyegetett térség jelentős. A hatóságok abban bíznak, hogy a gépet sikerül biztonságban landolásra késztetni, legkésőbb, amikor elfogy az üzemanyaga.
Tudósítások szerint a kisrepülőgép folyamatosan Tupelo város környékének légterében körözött alig 300 méteres magasságban, részben lakónegyedek és részben ipari létesítmények, részben mezőgazdasági területek, részben egy nemzeti park fölött. A veszélyeztetett létesítmények között van – az elsőként fenyegetett Walmart bevásárlóközpont mellett – egy Toyota autógyár is.
A férfi indítékai nem világosak, rendőrségi források szerint a helyi repülőtér alkalmazottja.
