Körülbelül 20-25 ezer ember tüntetett szombaton délután Prágában a magas infláció és a nyugdíjtörvény módosítása ellen. A demonstrálók követelték az Oroszország által megtámadott Ukrajna katonai támogatásának leállítását, valamint Petr Fiala miniszterelnök kormányának lemondását.
A szegénység elleni több mint háromórás megmozdulást a parlamenten kívüli Právo Respekt Odbornost (Jog, Tisztelet, Szakértelem – PRO) nevű párt szervezte.
A Vencel téri tüntetők cseh zászlókat lengetve kormányellenes jelszavakat skandáltak. Jindrich Rajchl, a PRO elnöke bejelentette: amennyiben a kormány nem fogadja el követeléseiket, április 16-án újabb tüntetés lesz a Vencel téren, majd blokád alá vonják a kormányépületeket.
A tüntetők azt is követelték, hogy a kormány állítsa le az Oroszország által megtámadott Ukrajna masszív katonai támogatását, s az ukránok helyett a cseh lakosság gondjaival foglalkozzon.
A megmozdulás végén néhány száz tüntető a cseh Nemzeti Múzeum elé vonult, s követelte az épület homlokzatán lévő ukrán zászló eltávolítását. Miután követeléseikre senki sem reagált, többen megpróbáltak behatolni az épületbe, amit a rendőrségi kommandósok megakadályoztak.
Dulakodás alakult ki, aminek következtében a rendőrség rendbontás címén 15 személyt őrizetbe vett.

Ismét több ezer oroszpárti tüntető demonstrált kedden Moldovában a nyugatbarát kormány ellen, az állampolgárok téli energiakiadásainak átvállalását és azt követelve, hogy „ne vigyék háborúba az országot”.
A Chisinauban megtartott tiltakozó megmozdulást az oroszbarát Sor Párt szervezte, amelynek hat képviselője van a 101 fős törvényhozásban.
A tüntetők moldovai zászlók alatt vonultak fel, az államfő lemondását követelve. „Maia Sandu mondjon le!”, „Le a diktatúrával” – skandálták.
Az ország minden részéből szállítottak autókon és buszokkal tüntetőket a fővárosba, ahol helyenként közlekedési dugók alakultak ki, miután az esemény biztosítására kirendelt rendőrök ellenőrizték a városba belépő járműveket.
Az orosz érdekek kiszolgálása miatt az amerikai külügyminisztérium szankciós listáján szereplő Ilan Shor szökésben lévő oligarcha, a Sor Párt elnöke a „békés tüntetés akadályozásával” vádolta meg a rendőröket.
Ez két hét alatt már a második Chisinauban tartott kormányellenes megmozdulás, amely miatt fokozódnak az aggodalmak az Ukrajnával szomszédos ország destabilizálását célzó kísérletek miatt.
Február 13-án Maia Sandu azzal vádolta meg Moszkvát, hogy meg akarja buktatni a kormányt, hogy eltérítse a majdani európai uniós csatlakozás útjáról. Oroszország hevesen tagadta a vádakat.
A Sor Párt tüntetéssorozatot kezdeményezett, amely megrengette a június óta uniós tagjelölt országot, amely súlyos energiaproblémákkal küzd, amióta Moszkva drámaian csökkentette a földgázszállításokat.
A moldovai kormány az alkotmánybírósághoz fordult, hogy tiltsa be a Sor Pártot. A korrupcióellenes ügyészség szerint a tiltakozásokat részben orosz pénzből finanszírozzák.
A moldovai Hírszerző és Biztonsági Szolgálat (SIS) előző nap jelentette be, hogy kiutasítottak az országból két külföldi állampolgárt, akik „felforgató akciókat” hajtottak végre Moldova destabilizálására.

Több ezer ember tüntetett Prágában a szankciós áremelkedések miatt, mert az elhibázott brüsszeli döntések miatt sokkal rosszabbul élnek. A cseh tüntetők azzal sem értenek egyet, hogy a kormány rendszeresen küld fegyverszállítmányokat Ukrajnába. Csehország a háború kezdete óta már több mint 800 milliárd forint értékben támogatta az ukránokat fegyverekkel – számoltak be róla az M1 Híradójában.
Több ezren vonultak csütörtökön Prága utcáira, hogy Csehország háborús semlegességét követeljék. Szeptember eleje óta ez már a negyedik kormányellenes tömegdemonstráció a cseh fővárosban. A tüntetők szerint a cseh kormánynak minden erejével az energiaválság elhárításán kellene dolgoznia, és nem lenne szabad csatlakoznia az unió szankciós politikájához. Ez ugyanis az emberek megélhetésébe kerülhet.
Bár a cseh kormány novembertől árstopot rendelt el a lakosság és a kisvállalkozások által fogyasztott villanyra és gázra, a demonstrálók szerint ez nem elég. Az országban ugyanis harminc éve nem látott mértékű a pénzromlás, ami súlyos teherként nehezedik a lakosságra. A legnagyobb drágulás az élelmiszereket érinti. A legfrissebb adatok szerint leginkább a tojás és a cukor drágult. Utóbbiért a tavalyi ár kétszeresénél is többet kell fizetni. A kormány mindezek ellenére kitart a szankciós politika mellett és a háború eleje óta már kétmilliárd dollár értékben küldött fegyverszállítmányokat Ukrajnába.
„A cseh kormány nem akar békét. A kommunikációja csak a háborúról és a fegyverszállítmányokról szól. Ezzel a háború szélére sodortak minket a világ legnagyobb országa ellen” – vélekedett a tüntetés egyik szervezője.
Miközben a demonstrálók a cseh köztelevízió elé vonulva követelték a kormány lemondását, Petr Fiala miniszterelnök megkoszorúzta a szovjet megszállásnak véget vető 1989-es bársonyos forradalom áldozatainak emlékművét. Csehországban ugyanis a napokban emlékeznek meg az ország függetlenné válásáról, amihez oroszellenes, kormánypárti tüntetők is csatlakoztak.
„Oroszország nem tankokkal vagy rakétákkal, hanem a hibrid háború sokkal kifinomultabb eszközeivel támad minket. Mi nemet mondunk az orosz agresszióra. Tudjuk, kik vagyunk, és hogy milyen értékeket kell megvédenünk. Nem hagyjuk, hogy megfosszanak minket a demokráciánk legfontosabb ünnepétől” – mondta a cseh kormányfő egy prágai konferencián.
„Természetesen azt szeretném, ha nem lenne háború. Nem vagyok orosz szimpatizáns. Az energiaárak emelkedése miatt veszek részt a tüntetésen” – mondta egy férfi.
A tüntetés miatt a rendőröknek részben le kellett zárniuk a forgalmat Prága belvárosában, és rendkívüli biztonsági intézkedéseket vezettek be a cseh köztelevízió székháza körül.

Kormányellenes tüntetők feldúlták és felgyújtották Saleh Kabzebo nemrégiben megválasztott miniszterelnök pártjának székházát csütörtökön a közép-afrikai Csádban. A rendőrség könnygázt vetett be, a tüntetésen az egyik szervező közlése szerint legkevesebben heten meghaltak és nagyon sokan megsérültek.

Az elnök új választási bizottságot nevezett ki, ami a Reuters szerint kétségbe vonja bármilyen voksolás hitelességét. Ideiglenes igazságügyi tanácsot is nevezett ki, és bírák tucatjait menesztette, arra hivatkozva, hogy korruptak és terroristákat védenek. A bírói kar szerint viszont egyszerűen politikai leszámolásról van szó, az elnök ellenőrzése alá akarja vonni és politikai ellenfelei ellen akarja felhasználni az igazságszolgáltatást. A bírák emiatt június elején sztrájkba léptek, amelyet szombaton újabb egy héttel meghosszabbítottak.

Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of “Slava Ukraini” protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared.
I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them…
