Riasztani kellett az amerikai légierő egyik vadászgépét helyi idő szerint vasárnap délután, mert egy kisrepülőgép letért útvonaláról az amerikai főváros közelében, és nem válaszolt a légi irányításnak – közölte az amerikai védelmi minisztérium.
A Cessna Citation V típusú repülőgépet helyi idő szerint 15.20-kor fogta el a légierő F-16-os repülőgépe, és világítórakétákkal próbálta meg felhívni magára a pilóta figyelmét.
A vadászgépnek engedélyezték, hogy átlépje a hangsebességet, ezért Washingtonban vasárnap délután hangrobbanás volt hallható. A kisrepülő végül semmire nem reagált, és Virginia államban lezuhant.
A pilóta nem válaszolt, és a gép végül a George Washington nemzeti parknál, Virginia államban lezuhant.
„Az észak-amerikai légtérvédelem, a NORAD az utolsó pillanatig próbált kapcsolatban lépni a pilótával” – tudatta a Pentagon.
A Cessna Tennessee államból, Elisabethtownból a New York-i Long Island-be tartott, és egyelőre nem tudni, miért tért le az útvonaltól. A mentőegységek a baleset helyszínén nem találtak túlélőket.

Szerencsétlenül járt egy F-18-as harci repülőgép a spanyolországi Zaragoza mellett található légi támaszponton szombaton, a pilóta katapultált és túlélte a balesetet.
A spanyol védelmi minisztérium tájékoztatása szerint a repülőgép a várostól mintegy 15 kilométerre fekvő bázis területén belül csapódott a földbe. A pilótát az őt ért pszichés trauma mellett lábsérülésekkel szállították egy zaragózai kórházba.

„A gép becsapódása miatt keletkezett tüzet a helyi tűzoltóság oltotta el” – közölte Kim Dong-yeon, a dél-koreai Gyeonggi tartomány kormányzója.
A pilóta egy kiképzési repülésen vett részt, egyelőre nem tudni, hogy mi okozta a balesetet.
Az Oszan légibázis az amerikai légierő Észak-Koreához legközelebbi bázisa, mintegy 64 kilométerre a határtól.

A kínai haditengerészet egy J-11-es típusú vadászrepülőgépe váratlanul veszélyesen közel került az amerikai légierő egy RC-135-ös felderítő gépéhez a Dél-kínai-tenger feletti nemzetközi légtérben, és kitérő manőverre kényszerítette azt – idézi a Sky News az amerikai hadsereg hivatalos közleményét a múlt heti incidensről.
Ez az eset egy újabb azok sorában, amikről korábban az Egyesült Államok elítélően nyilatkozott, azt állítva, hogy a kínai katonai repülőgépek egyre veszélyesebb manővereket hajtanak végre a délkelet-ázsiai térségben. Az amerikai hadsereg közleménye ezért aláhúzta: az ország térségben állomásozó hadereje továbbra is a szabad és nyitott csendes-óceáni térség biztonságát hivatott fenntartani, ideértve a hajók és a légtérben közlekedő repülőgépek nemzetközi jog szerinti biztonságának garantálását.
A délkelet-ázsiai térségben az utóbbi időben egyre nagyobb a feszültség, különösen azért, mert Kína több provokatív lépést tett Tajvannal kapcsolatban. A szigetországot Peking Kína elválaszthatatlan részének tekinti, az orosz-ukrán háború kitörése kapcsán pedig több elemzés visszatérő eleme az, hogy a kínai vezetés esetleg most látja elérkezettnek az időt arra, hogy Tajvan katonai megszállására és annektálására kísérletet tegyen.
Tajvan kérdése mellett a Dél-kínai-tenger vizeinek hovatartozása is feszültségforrás lehet. Kína ugyanis a Dél-kínai tengerterület számos részére jogot formál. Közülük olyan régiókra is, melyek egy része Malajzia, Indonézia, a Fülöp-szigetek, vagy Brunei nemzetközi jog szerinti kizárólagos gazdasági érdekeltségű tengeri területeire nyúlik be.

A dél-koreai vezérkari főnökök egyesített bizottsága azt közölte, összesen 12 észak-koreai katonai repülőgép – négy bombázó és nyolc harci repülőgép – repült be a határsávba, ahol gyaníthatóan lőgyakorlatot tartottak.
Az incidenst néhány órával azt követően jelentették, hogy Észak-Korea – két nappal legutóbbi kísérlete után – két újabb rakétát indított reggel a Japán-tenger irányába. A vezérkari főnökök egyesített bizottsága megállapította, hogy a rakétákat Phenjan térségéből bocsátották fel, hozzátéve, hogy vélhetően ballisztikus rakétákról van szó.
Az ENSZ határozatai megtiltják Észak-Koreának, hogy bármilyen hatótávolságú ballisztikus rakétákat teszteljen, amelyek közül néhány nukleáris robbanófej hordozására is alkalmas.
Phenjan kedden is indított egy közepes hatótávolságú ballisztikus rakétát. Ilyen eset utoljára öt évvel ezelőtt, 2017-ben történt.
Észak-Korea idén már mintegy negyven rakétakísérletet hajtott végre.
A műveletek miatt Szöul, Tokió és Washington a közelmúltban fokozta a közös hadgyakorlatokat, és szeptember 30-án öt év óta először tartottak háromoldalú tengeralattjáró-elhárító gyakorlatot a Koreai-félszigetnél.

Lezuhant szerda este a román légierő egy MiG-21 Lancer típusú vadászgépe a Fekete-tenger partvidékén, Konstanca megyében, nem sokkal később pedig a keresésére küldött IAR 330 Puma helikopter is lezuhant, és a fedélzetén lévő öt katona meghalt.
A román védelmi minisztérium (MAPN) közlése szerint a Mihail Kogalniceanu légi támaszpontról helyi idő szerint 19 óra 50 perckor felszállt vadászrepülőgép nem sokkal 20 óra után tűnt el a radarról, és feltételezhetően lezuhant.
A bázisról a román légierő IAR 330 Puma helikoptere indult az esetlegesen katapultált pilóta keresésére, fedélzetén öt katonával. A helikopter 20 óra 44 perckor tűnt el a radar képernyőjéről miután a pilóta azt jelentette, hogy az időjárási viszonyok kedvezőtlenek, és parancsot kapott, hogy térjen vissza a támaszpontra.
Constantin Spinu, a MAPN szóvivője később közölte: megtalálták a lezuhant helikopter roncsait 11 kilométernyire a Kogalniceanu támaszponttól. A szóvivő megerősítette, hogy a fedélzeten lévő katonák egyike sem élte túl a balesetet. A vadászrepülő roncsainak és pilótájának felkutatására földi keresőegységek indultak.
A hírtelevíziók által megszólaltatott szemtanúk szerint havazás és ónos eső volt a térségben. Az Agerpres hírügynökség szerda este azt jelentette, hogy Konstanca megyében két megyei utat lezártak a forgalom elől, mivel a havazás és erős szél miatt nem lehetett az út jegesedését meggátolni.
Romániában folyamatban van a légierő korszerűsítése, amelyet a hadsereg másodkézből vásárolt, használt F16-os vadászgépekkel hajt végre. Használatban vannak azonban még a Szovjetunióban gyártott és izraeli segítséggel Romániában felújított MiG-21 Lancer típusú vadászgépek is. A megrendelt F16-osok közül eddig 17 érkezett meg Romániába. Az utóbbi 25 évben a román légierő több mint húsz MiG-21-ese hajtott végre kényszerleszállást, vagy zuhant le.

Míg-29-es vadászgép fogott el szombat reggel Ivano-Frankivszk megyében a Kárpátok fölött egy Romániába cigarettát csempésző An-2 repülőgépet, amelyet Kolomijában kényszerített földre – adta hírül a strana.ua hírportál sajtóforrásra hivatkozva.
ép A jelentés szerint az alacsonyan szálló dupla fedelű repülőgépet az ukrán légierő radarjai észlelték. Ezt követően egy Míg-29 típusú vadászgépet küldtek a lucki katonai repülőtérről az An-2 nyomába.
A Mig az Ivano-Frankivszk megyei Kosziv város fölött fogta el a csempészrepülőgépet, amelyet a közeli Kolomija Ihor Tabanyuk repülőterén kényszerített leszállásra. Az An-2-t a hatóságok átvizsgálták, a fedélzetén csempészeket találtak, akik cigarettát szállítottak Romániába.
