Vesztegetési pénz átvételekor tetten érték és őrizetbe vették munkahelyén a Védelmi Minisztérium ruházati anyagfejlesztési főosztályának ezredesi rangban lévő osztályvezetőjét, aki 400 ezer hrivnyát követelt egy vállalkozótól a közbeszerzésben való részvételért – adta hírül pénteken az rbc.ua hírportál a Legfőbb Ügyészség sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A nyomozás adatai szerint az ezredes annak fejében követelt kenőpénzt egy cégvezetőtől, hogy módosítja a fegyveres erők szimbolikai elemeinek műszaki feltételeit, ami lehetővé tette volna a vállalkozó számára a 4 millió hrivnya összegű közbeszerzésben történő részvételre. A tiszt 10%-os törvénytelen részesedést, azaz 400 ezer hrivnyát követelt az ügyfelétől.
A hatóságok akkor vették őrizetbe az ezredest a dolgozószobájában, amikor a vesztegetési pénz első részleteként épp 100 ezer hrivnyát vett át.

Az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) munkatársai Odessza megyében letartóztatták a Védelmi Minisztérium több munkatársát, akik elsikkasztották a katonai kisvárosok építésére elkülönített pénzt.
A hírt az SZBU hivatalos oldalán közölték. A közleményben azt olvashatjuk, hogy a tisztségviselők az okmányokban azt nyilatkozták, hogy a munkálatok el vannak végezve, azonban ez nem felelt meg a valóságnak.
A Védelmi Minisztérium alkalmazottai 11 millió hrivnyával éltek vissza, a náluk végzett házkutatás során a hatóságok rá is bukkantak az ezt igazoló okmányokra. Az ügyben megkezdődött az eljárás, a nyomozás folyik.
