“Висока вода у Венеції досягла висоти 144 сантиметри о
9.40 ранку (за місцевим часом). Центр припливів муніципалітету повідомив про це
на основі даних різних станцій, розташованих у місті, зокрема
Пунта-делла-Догана перед Сан-Марко, та портів. Це винятковий прилив, який на
60% покрив ґрунт міста. Прогнозована висота становила 150 сантиметрів, але
вітер з Адріатичного моря зменшив поштовх води до міста”, — повідомляють у
виданні.
Так, у місті двічі за ранок звучала сирена.
Також підтоплено вхід у Собор Святого Марка.
Нагадаємо, італійське місто Венеція пережило ввечері 12
листопада другу найгіршу повінь за час регулярної фіксації рівня води з кінця
19-го століття. О 23:00 рівень води у венеційській лагуні сягнув позначки 194
сантиметри над середнім.
Збитки від повені у Венеції оцінюють у сотні мільйонів
євро.
Пізніше уряд Італії передбачив виділення 20 млн євро на
початковому етапі ліквідації наслідків повені у Венеції в результаті “високої
води”.
