A hírt a New York Post közölte. A 38 éves Kristina Joksimovichot februárban találták meggyilkolva otthonában a svájci Bázel városa melletti Binningenben. A 41 éves Thomas, a modell férje és két lányuk apja elismerte, hogy megölte, de azt mondta, önvédelemből tette, mert a nő állítólag késsel támadt rá.
Az orvosszakértők azonban nem találtak bizonyítékot az önvédelemre, a halált fulladás okozta. A holttestet fűrésszel, késsel és kerti ollóval darabolták fel a boncolási jelentés szerint. A test több részét botmixerrel aprították le, és vegyi oldatban feloldották.

A kórházban belehalt égési sérüléseibe Rebecca Cheptegei volt élettársa, akit azzal gyanúsítottak, hogy benzinnel leöntötte és felgyújtotta az olimpikont. A kenyai Eldoretben lévő kórház szóvivője a Reutersnek azt mondta, hogy Dickson Ndiema Marangach hétfőn este 19:50-kor halt bele égési sérüléseibe.
A férfit azzal vádolták, hogy szeptember 1-jén benzinnel leöntötte és felgyújtotta a 33 éves Cheptegeit, amikor hazatért két gyerekével a templomból. A futónő testének nyolcvan százaléka megégett, a kórház intenzív osztályán kezelték, de négy nappal a támadás után belehalt sérüléseibe. Volt barátját, és egyben támadóját is ugyanott kezelték, a férfi testének 30 százaléka égett meg.
Rebecca Cheptegei 2010-ben kezdett versenyezni, hosszú távokra, félmaratonra, maratonra specializálódott, de indult terepversenyeken is. 2022-ben ő lett az első hegyifutó-világbajnokság női győztese is. Több városi maratonon, például Padovában és Firenzében tudott dobogóra állni, az idei olimpián a 44. lett ezen a távon, tavaly pedig a budapesti vb-n futva a 14. lett.
Cheptegei a harmadik élsportoló, akit 2021 októbere óta megöltek Kenyában. Halála reflektorfénybe helyezte a családon belüli erőszakot a kelet-afrikai országban, különösen a futóközösségen belül.

A német ügyészség vádat emelt két ukrán nő meggyilkolása kapcsán a Sandhausen városából származó házaspár ellen. Egy 44 éves nő és egy 43 éves férfi csecsemőrablás érdekében követett el bűncselekményt. Erről a német Stern című kiadvány számolt be.
A jelentésben nem szerepel a gyilkossággal vádlottak állampolgársága, de korábban a helyi tömegmédiában azt állították, hogy a gyanúsított egy orosz nő és egy német férfi.
A bűncselekmény indítéka a pár beteljesületlen gyermekvállalási vágya. Még 2023 tavaszán úgy döntöttek, hogy elrabolnak egy újszülöttet, és sajátjukként nevelik tovább.
2024 januárjában egy nő a Telegram csatornán felvette a kapcsolatot egy 27 éves ukrán nővel, aki akkoriban szülni készült, hogy segítsen az ukránoknak ideiglenes védelemben részesülni Németországban. Amikor a gyermek februárban megszületett, az összeesküvők úgy döntöttek, hogy megölik az anyát és a nagymamát.
Szándékukat március 6-án megvalósították. Miután meghívták az ukrán nőt egy étterembe, mindkettejüknek nyugtatót adtak, majd amikor az idősebb nő rosszul érezte magát, önként vállalták, hogy beviszik a kórházba. Ezt követően mindkét nőt megölték, a babával pedig hazamentek.
A hét hónapos kislány több hónapig élt a családnál. A nyár elején a nagynénje, a meggyilkolt nő 21 éves nővére vette át a lány felügyeletét. Június végén a kisbabával visszatért Ukrajnába.

A legfrissebb jelentések alapján a Boko Haram dzsihadista csoport fegyveresei legkevesebb 81 embert öltek meg egy északkelet-nigériai faluban – közölte Abdulkarim Dungus, a yobei rendőrség szóvivője.
A beszámoló szerint a mintegy 150 szélsőséges motorkerékpárokon érkezett vasárnap délután Yobe állam Mafa nevű falujába, majd válogatás nélkül tüzet nyitottak gépkarabélyokból a helyi piacon, és házakat, üzleteket gyújtottak fel. Dungus szerint az áldozatok pontos számát még meg kell erősíteniük. Egy katonai tisztviselő hozzátette, hogy a faluhoz vezető utat az iszlamisták aláaknázták, de a robbanószerkezeteket a hadsereg erőinek időközben sikerült eltávolítaniuk. Dungus korábban elmondta, hogy a Mafa elleni akció megtorlás volt azért, mert egy helyi önbíráskodó csoport korábban megölte a Boko Haram két feltételezett tagját.
Helyi lakosok szerint az áldozatok száma jóval magasabb is lehet, a százat is meghaladhatja, tekintettel arra, hogy több olyan embert eltűntként kezelnek, akiket a támadók a bozótosba üldöztek, s feltehetőleg szintén megöltek.
Nigéria északkeleti részén a Boko Haram 2014-ben jelentős területeket hajtott uralma alá, majd kikiáltotta saját kalifátusát. A nigériai hadseregnek a csádi fegyveres erőkkel vállvetve sikerült visszaszereznie az ellenőrzést a terület felett, de az iszlamisták bevetették magukat a hegyekbe, ahonnan rendszeresen támadásokat hajtanak végre rettegésben tartva régió lakóit. Az utóbbi 15 évben több mint 40 ezer ember vesztette életét és kétmillióan voltak kénytelenek elmenekülni otthonaikból.
A dzsihadisták tevékenységüket a szomszédos Csádra, Nigerre és Kamerunra is kiterjesztették.ű

Bejelentés érkezett a rendőrkapitányságra egy szállóban történt késeléses támadásról. A helyszínre érkező rendfenntartók megtalálták a mellkason szúrt férfit, az orvosok erőfeszítései ellenére a 27 éves ukrán életét nem tudták megmenteni.
A rendőrség azonnal megkezdte a bűnöző felkutatását. Néhány órával később őrizetbe vettek egy 29 éves lengyelt, aki ellen már vádat emeltek. A bíróság kedden döntött a gyanúsított három hónapos őrizetbe vételéről. Cselekedetét jelenleg emberölésnek minősítik, ami 8-tól 25 évig terjedő szabadságvesztéssel vagy életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetéssel büntetendő.

Az Egyesült Államokban meggyilkoltak egy mindössze nyolcéves kisfiút. A tragédia különösen megrázó, mivel az elkövető egy 11 éves fiú, aki vízbe fojtotta áldozatát. A gyilkosságért 2 év büntetést kapott, amit egy nevelőintézetben kell letöltenie.
A nyolcéves Noah Bush május 15-én tűnt el. A kisfiú holtteste egy nappal később került elő egy gödörből. A rendőrök először azt gondolták, hogy baleset történt, véletlenül fulladt meg.
A fiú családja azonban ügyvédet és magánnyomozót fogadott. Ezután derült ki, hogy valójában gyilkosság történt.
A gyilkos pedig egy másik kisgyerek, aki az áldozatnál mindössze három évvel idősebb. Egy vízzel teli gödörbe nyomta a fiú fejét, egészen addig, amíg már nem lélegzett. Később mindent bevallott, többek között elmondta, hogy az áldozatát levitte egy agyagbányához, ott ölte meg.
Noah édesanyja, Demetrice Bush azt mondta, hogy szerinte a kétéves büntetés nem elég hosszú fia meggyilkolásáért.

A támadás egy attocki járásbeli faluban történt csütörtök reggel, miközben a gyerekek iskolába utaztak.
A támadás során öt gyerek megsebesült és kettő meghalt.
A Vangurad hírportál szerint az áldozatok és a sérült gyerekek 5 és 10 év közöttiek voltak. A rendőrség szerint a támadók a sofőrt vették célba, őt akarták megölni, de nem sikerült nekik, viszont a sofőr is súlyosan megsebesült.
A támadást egy családi viszály szíthatta, de a rendőrség a terrorizmust sem zárja ki. Pakisztánban gyakoriak a fegyveres támadások és a bandaháborúk – írja az Aljezeera.
2014-ben tálib fegyveresek csaknem 150 gyereket öltek meg egy katonai iskolában Pakisztán északnyugati részén.
Asif Ali Zardari pakisztáni elnök és Mohsin Naqvi belügyminiszter elítélte a támadást, és elrendelte, hogy a lehető legjobb orvosi ellátásban részesítsék a sebesülteket.
2021-ben Koszovóban történt hasonló tragédia. Fegyveresek nyitottak tüzet egy iskolabuszra, két gyerek és egy felnőtt meghalt.
