Az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) felgöngyölített egy orosz ügynökhálózatot, amely Ukrajna három megyéjében működött, a felforgatók a védelmi erők és a kritikus infrastruktúra kulcsfontosságú objektumai után kémkedtek – számolt be hétfőn az rbc.ua hírportál az SZBU sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az SZBU közleménye megjegyezte, hogy a munkatársai hatástalanították az orosz különleges szolgálatok ügynökhálózatát, amely Mikolajiv, Dnyipropetrovszk és Ivano-Frankivszk megyék területén működött. A csoportban jelenlegi és volt rendőrök is voltak, akik ukrán katonai és stratégiai infrastrukturális létesítmények után kémkedtek.
Az SZBU megjegyezte, hogy a hálózat két tagját Mikolajivban vették őrizetbe. Egyikükről kiderült, hogy egy helyi rendőrtiszt, aki 2015 óta Andrij Sevcsenko volt rendőrnél, az orosz hírszerző ügynökség rezidensénél dolgozott. Hivatali beosztását felhasználva információkat gyűjtött a fegyveres erők mozgásáról és a stratégiai objektumokról, valamint adatokat továbbított a rendvédelmi szervek személyi változásairól.
Az áruló az apját is bevonta a tevékenységébe, aki korábban szintén rendőr volt. Az együttműködés eredménye az egyik Ivano-Frankivszk megyei energetikai létesítmény elleni ismételt támadás volt. Az ellenség tüzének kiigazításához a volt rendőr Ukrajna nyugati régiójának területén élő ismerősét használta fel anélkül, hogy az tudta volna, mit tesz. „Ennek az ügynöknek a másik feladata az volt, hogy potenciális jelölteket keressen a toborzásra, elsősorban Mikolajiv megye korábbi és aktív rendőrtisztjei és katonái körében” – áll a nyilatkozatban.
A hálózat működését az orosz katonai hírszerzés vezetőjén és az FSZB Krím félszigeten dolgozó munkatársain keresztül koordinálták. A házkutatások során az elkövetőknél eszközöket, iratokat és egyéb, felforgató tevékenységre utaló bizonyítékokat foglaltak le. A hálózat minden tagját hazaárulással vádolják, ami életfogytiglani börtönbüntetéssel sújtható. A nyomozás folyamatban van a többi érintett személy ellen is.

Nagy-Britanniában már több mint ezer embert vettek őrizetbe a zavargások alatt, majdnem 600 ellen vádat is emeltek. A legfiatalabb rendbontó, aki ellen vádat emeltek, egy 13 éves lány, aki beismerte, hogy garázdaságban vett részt. A legidősebb őrizetbe vett 69, a legfiatalabb 11 éves volt.
Ezernél is több embert vettek őrizetbe Nagy-Britanniában a gyújtogatásokkal, fosztogatásokkal, valamint migránsok és muszlimok elleni, rasszista támadásokkal is kísért erőszakos rendbontások nyomán – közölte kedden a brit rendőrség. Az elfogott rendbontók között 12-13 éves gyerekek is vannak. Egy 13 éves lány beismerte, hogy a múlt hónapban egy aldershoti szálloda előtt garázdaságban vett részt. A lány ügyét jövő hónapban tárgyalja a bíróság.
A hatóságok eddigi összesítése szerint 1024 embert vettek őrizetbe, és 575 esetben történt vádemelés.
Az őrizetbe vett személyek között van egy 69 éves férfi, akit rongálással vádolnak Liverpool városában, de egy 11 éves belfasti fiú is. Egy 13 éves lány pedig bűnösnek vallotta magát garázdaság vádjában a basingstoke-i bíróságon a helyi ügyészség szerint. A lány július 31-én szemtanúk szerint egy menekültszállás ajtaját püfölte és rugdosta.

A jelentés szerint a gyanúsított 5000 dollárt követelt egy állampolgártól, akit katonai nyilvántartási adatainak az ellenőrzése címén állítottak elő. Ebből az összegből le kellett volna fizetnie a kollégáit, hogy segítsenek a hadkötelesnek elhagyni a TCK területét. Segíteniük kellett volna abban is, hogy a hadköteles ne kapjon katonai behívót, és ne vonják felelősségre az okmányok késedelmes megújításáért.
A teljes összeg átvétele után a gyanúsítottat őrizetbe vették. Az ügyészek kérelmet nyújtottak be a bírósághoz, hogy rendeljen el megelőző intézkedést vele szemben. A fogvatartottat 3-tól 8 évig terjedő szabadságvesztés fenyegeti vagyonelkobzással.

A kanadai szövetségi rendőrség helyi idő szerint szerdán letartóztatott egy férfit, aki megfenyegette Justin Trudeau kanadai miniszterelnököt egy közösségi médiában közzétett videofelvételen.
A rendőrség szerint a férfi erőszakos fenyegetést küldött az X-en Trudeau-nak, illetve a terveit megakadályozni próbáló rendőrségnek és biztonsági személyzetnek is – szűrték le a férfi által közzétett videóból. A kanadai szövetségi rendőrség (RCMP) az ontariói York rendőrségének közreműködésével tartóztatta le a férfit.
A 33 éves Dawid Zalewski a rendőrségi jelentés szerint nem rendelkezik állandó lakcímmel, és nem ez az első eset, hogy erőszakkal fenyegetőzik.
„Első számú prioritásunk mindig is a kanadaiak biztonsága volt és lesz” – hangsúlyozta a rendőrség.
Zalewskit két héttel az után tartóztatták le, hogy fenyegetés gyanújával vádat emeltek két albertai férfi ellen. A kanadai szövetségi rendőrség júliusban közölte, hogy a férfiak Trudeau mellett más politikusok megöléséről is fenyegető tartalmakat töltöttek fel az X-re és a Youtube-ra.

Magas rangú amerikai tisztségviselők és politikusok ellen tervezett merénylet miatt emeltek vádat egy pakisztáni férfi ellen az amerikai hatóságok – derül ki a kedden bemutatott bírósági iratokból.
Az ügyészség bírósági vádbeadványa szerint Asif Merchant, aki a feltételezés szerint az iráni kormányzattal állt kapcsolatban, abból a célból utazott áprilisban Texas államból New Yorkba, hogy ott megbízást adjon politikai gyilkosságokra, amelyeknek késő augusztusban, kora szeptemberben kellett volna megtörténniük. A vádiratban az is olvasható, hogy a merényletek célpontjai magas rangú amerikai tisztségviselők lettek volna, köztük potenciálisan Donald Trump.
A nyomozás a republikánus elnökjelölt ellen elkövetett sikertelen merénylettel nem hozta összefüggésbe a pakisztáni férfit.
Breon Peace, New York állam keleti részének kerületi ügyésze a vádemelés kapcsán arról számolt be, hogy Asif Merchant „tengerentúli szereplők” nevében cselekedve tervezett merényleteket amerikai kormányzati tisztségviselők ellen az Egyesült Államok területén. Az iratokból az is kiderül, hogy a gyanúsítottat júliusban gyakorlatilag tettenérést követően vették őrizetbe, mielőtt megpróbálta elhagyni az Egyesült Államokat.
A férfit úgy leplezték le, hogy az általa megbízott állítólagos bérgyilkosok a Szövetségi Nyomozó Iroda fedett ügynökei voltak.
A nyomozásról nyilatkozó hatósági személyek szerint a pakisztáni férfi kiszemelt célpontjai között a politikai térfél mindkét oldaláról voltak személyiségek, nem csak Donald Trump, további neveket ugyanakkor nem említettek. Irán ENSZ-képviselete a vádemelésre azzal reagált, hogy nem kaptak tájékoztatást az ügyről az amerikai kormányzattól, és a diplomaták hozzátették, hogy
Irán érintettségének felvetése ellentmond a teheráni kormány hivatalos politikájának, miszerint jogi úton szeretné elérni Kászem Szolejmáni tábornok gyilkosainak felelősségre vonását.
Irán az amerikai kormány korábbi tisztségviselőit, köztük Donald Trumpot tartja felelősnek az Iszlám Forradalmi Gárda elitegységét irányító tábornok halálát okozó 2020-ban elkövetett teheráni légicsapásért. A teheráni kormányzat a magas rangú katonatiszt halálát követően bosszút hirdetett amerikai tisztségviselők, köztük az akkori Trump-adminisztráció több tagja, köztük a volt elnök ellen.

Hivatali vesztegetés gyanúja miatt őrizetbe vették augusztus 2-án Vlagyimir Gyemcsiket, az orosz védelmi tárca beszerzési osztályának volt vezetőjét – közölte kedden az illetékes katonai törvényszék.
A tájékoztatás szerint Gyemcsik egyelőre nem emelt panaszt a kényszerintézkedéssel szemben.
A tartalékos ezredest, aki 2018 áprilisáig vezette a tárca beszerzési osztályát, 4 millió rubel kenőpénz elfogadásával gyanúsítják, melyet 2017 tavaszán kapott egy üzletembertől, aki előnyös elbírálást akart magának elérni egy közbeszerzési eljárásban. A nyomozás megállapította, hogy 2017-2018-ban az érintett vállalat az orosz hadsereg beszállítójaként tevékenykedett, 26 megállapodást kötött összesen több mint 574 millió rubel értékben.
Elmarasztalása esetén 15 évig terjedő börtön fenyegeti Gyemcsiket.
Az orosz állami nyomozó bizottság korábban arról számolt be, hogy Vlagyimir Sesztyerov vezérőrnagyot csalás gyanújával vették őrizetbe, ahogy Vjacseszlav Ahmedovot is, a Moszkva közelében található népszerű Patrióta Park nevű háborús élménypark igazgatóját sikkasztás címén.
Az orosz hadsereget és a védelmi intézményeket évek óta érintő legsúlyosabb korrupciós hullámban eddig bő tíz embert vettek őrizetbe.
A letartóztatási hullám április 23-án kezdődött Timur Ivanov védelmi miniszterhelyettes őrizetbe vételével, akik azzal vádoltak, hogy kenőpénzt fogadott el egy építési vállalattól. Az őrizetbe vettek között szerepel a hadsereg egyik vezérőrnagya és a vezérkari főnök helyettese, valamint több, kenőpénzek fizetésével gyanúsított üzletember.

Vlagyimir Sesztyerov vezérőrnagyot csalás gyanújával vették őrizetbe – közölte a nyomozó bizottság. Előállították Vjacseszlav Ahmedovot is, a Moszkva közelében található népszerű Patrióta Park nevű háborús élménypark igazgatóját.
A nyomozás szerint ezek az emberek bűntársaikkal együtt érintettek voltak a Patrióta Park, a kongresszusi és kiállítási központ tevékenységeihez és működéséhez nyújtott költségvetési pénzek eltulajdonításában – olvasható a bizottság közleményében.
A RIA orosz állami hírügynökség szerint több más gyanúsítottat is őrizetbe vettek és kihallgattak. Az orosz hadsereget és a védelmi intézményeket évek óta érintő legsúlyosabb korrupciós hullámban eddig bő tíz embert vettek őrizetbe.
A letartóztatási hullám április 23-án kezdődött Timur Ivanov védelmi miniszterhelyettes őrizetbe vételével, akik azzal vádoltak, hogy kenőpénzt fogadott el egy építési vállalattól. Az őrizetbe vettek között szerepel a hadsereg egyik vezérőrnagya és a vezérkari főnök helyettese, valamint több, kenőpénzek fizetésével gyanúsított üzletember.
A Kreml le akar számolni a hadseregen belül burjánzó korrupcióval, miközben közel két és fél éve vív háborút Ukrajnával.
Májusban, röviddel az első őrizetbe vételek után Vlagyimir Putyin elnök váratlanul felmentette a régóta szolgáló Szergej Sojgu védelmi minisztert, és helyébe Andrej Belouszov közgazdászt nevezte ki, amit sok elemző úgy magyarázott, hogy szigorúbban akarja kezelni a hatalmas katonai költségvetést, és véget kíván vetni a pazarlásnak és a korrupciónak.

Augusztus 2-án az orosz hatóságok letartóztatták Dmitrij Pjeskov ezredest. Azzal vádolták, hogy élelmiszeradagokat lopott, Pjeskov ártatlannak vallotta magát.
Elemzők szerint Pjeskov letartóztatása valószínűleg része a Kreml azon szándékos törekvésének, hogy magas rangú orosz tisztviselőket távolítson el az orosz védelmi minisztériumból, amit arra használhatnak, hogy közvetve megbüntessék a parancsnokokat az egységeik kudarcaiért, vagy hogy lojális és engedelmes tiszteket tartsanak az orosz fegyveres erőknél.
A jelentések szerint a 144. motorizált lövészhadosztály egységei minimális sikerrel hajtottak végre támadó műveleteket a Luhanszki területen lévő Terni és Nevszke térségében, és a közelmúltban területet vesztettek a térségben végrehajtott korlátozott ukrán ellentámadások miatt – közölte a Ukrajinszka Pravda.
