Ukrajnában már több mint 1500 háztartást öntött el az ár a folyók emelkedő vízszintje miatt – számolt be a helyi katasztrófavédelem, amelyet az ukrán média idézett szerdán.
A Sztrana.ua internetes oldal beszámolója szerint a legtöbb érintett háztartás (474) Csernyihiv régióban van. Súlyos a helyzet a Cserkaszi, a Dnyipropetrovszki, a Kijevi, a Kirovohradi és a Poltavai területen. A víz 9138 hektár mezőgazdasági területet öntött el, 30 településsel megszakadt a közlekedési kapcsolat. Naponta 228 embert mentenek ki, a mentések kezdete óta 1799 embert evakuáltak. Az áradások várhatóan április 22-én tetőznek.
A kijevi katonai közigazgatás mindazonáltal arról biztosította a lakosságot, hogy az árvíz nem jelent veszélyt a főváros ipari létesítményeire és lakónegyedeire. A körzetben ugyanakkor több üdülőhelyet és kiskertet elöntött az ár.
A Sztrana cikke szerint az idei tavaszi áradások a legnagyobbak közé tartoznak az elmúlt évtizedekben. A mentők videófelvételt közöltek a Csernyihiv környéki elárasztott településekről. A hadifoglyok kezelését koordináló törzs jelezte, hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők 92 katonája, 20 területvédelmis, 11 nemzeti gárdista, három határőr, a haditengerészet és az Állami Különleges Közlekedési Szolgálat két-két tagja tért haza. A kicserélt katonák közül 48-at eltűntnek tekintettek. A hazatértek egy része megsérült, számosan zúzódást és végtagveszteséget szenvedtek. „Két testvért is kiengedtek a fogságból, akik Bahmut környékén harcoltak. Oroszország tavaly február óta mintegy nyolcezer légvédelmi rakétát használt fel arra, hogy csapást mérjen a szárazföldi erőkre – közölte az ukrán hadsereg.

Az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezete (ENSZ) az orosz invázió kezdete óta 21 965 áldozatot regisztrált Ukrajna polgári lakossága körében, közülük 8 231-en életüket vesztették, 13 734-en pedig megsebesültek – számolt be kedden az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál az ENSZ Emberi Jogi Főbiztosi Hivatalának (OHCHR) jelentésére hivatkozva.
A közlemény szerint az OHCHR 3 664 férfi, 2173 nő, 260 fiú és 203 lány halálát erősítette meg, 31 gyermek és 1900 felnőtt nemét még nem sikerült megállapítani. A szervezet jelentéséből kiderült, hogy 17 619 áldozat (6 372 halott és 11 247 sebesült) tartózkodott az Ukrajna által ellenőrzött területen az orosz invázió idején.

A háború kezdete óta több mint 40 500 alkalommal bombáztak az oroszok ukrajnai célpontokat – közölte az ukrán belügyminiszter.
Ihor Klimenko az Euromaidan Press szerint arról is beszámolt, hogy az invázió tavaly február 24-i kezdete óta 66 300, oroszok által elkövetett háborús bűncselekményt regisztráltak Ukrajnában.
Nem tudni, hogy Klimenko beleszámította-e a statisztikába azokat a rakétákat, amelyekkel szombaton napközben Zaporizzsját támadták. A Kyiv Independent közlése szerint az oroszok a kritikus infrastruktúrát vették célba.

Kijevben az oroszok Kinzsal hiperszónikus rakétával lőttek egy villanyerőművet, de lakott területen is volt becsapódás, négyen megsebesültek. A főváros közel fele fűtés nélkül maradt.
Zsitomir megyében szünetel az áram- és vízellátás. Harkivban leállt felszíni elektromos tömegközlekedés és nem működik a metró.
Makszim Kozickij, a Lemberg Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetője a Telegram-csatornáján azt közölte, hogy a mai hatalmas rakétatámadás során a megszállók csapást mértek a Zolocsivi járásra. Ellenséges rakéta zuhant lakóépületre, ami tüzet okozott. A tűzben három ház, három autó, egy garázs és több melléképület is megsemmisült. Az orosz rakétacsapás következtében az előzetes adatok szerint négyen meghaltak. „Négy felnőttről van szó. Két férfi és két nő. Otthon voltak, amikor a rakéta lezuhant. A romokat még takarítják. Lehet, hogy más emberek is vannak a törmelékek alatt” – jelezte Makszim Kozickij.
