A biztonsági szolgálat megakadályozta, hogy az orosz különleges szolgálatok megpróbálják destabilizálni a nyugat-ukrajnai belpolitikai helyzetet.
A hatóságok őrizetbe vettek egy kárpátaljai lakost, aki az agresszor utasítására mesterségesen szított antiszemita indulatokat a térségben. A férfi tavaly decemberben Ungvár központjában zsidók meggyilkolására felszólító feliratokat festett az épületek homlokzatára.
Ezenkívül az elkövető a zsidó közösség vezetőjének elküldött egy „saját művet”, amelyben e nemzetiség iránti gyűlöletét ecseteli. 2014-ig az érintett személy ideiglenesen az Oroszországi Föderáció területén élt. Jelenleg az ukrán biztonsági szolgálat munkatársai részletesen vizsgálják a férfi kapcsolatait az orosz különleges szolgálatokkal.
A férfit előzetes letartóztatásba helyezték, a vizsgálatok folynak.

Az incidens csütörtök este történt, a rongálásban pedig két közlekedési tábla és az emlékhely térképét tartalmazó tábla érintett, amelyeket ismeretlen elkövetők festettek le, a rendőrség pedig nem sokkal az incidens után eltávolította a helyszínről a táblákat.
Az emlékhelyet működtető Buchenwald és Mittelbau-Dora Emlékhely Alapítvány megdöbbentőnek nevezte az esetet, s egy „visszataszító támadásként” utalt a történtekre, amely az áldozatok méltóságát és az ő munkájukat is mélyen sérti – számolt be a DW.
A buchenwaldi koncentrációs tábort és a hozzá tartozó szatellit-táborokat 1937-ben hozták létre, ahol 280 ezer embert tartottak fogva, köztük zsidókat, hadifoglyokat és politikai foglyokat, akiket elsősorban kényszermunkásként dolgoztattak a közeli hadiüzemekben.
A rabok közül több mint 56 ezer ártatlant gyilkoltak meg, mielőtt a tábort 1945-ben felszabadították volna. Ma múzeum és emlékhely található az egykori koncentrációs tábor helyén.

Egy marokkói imámot októberben, nemzetbiztonsági fenyegetésre hivatkozva, kitiltottak Belgiumból, mert egy videófelvételen „zsidók elégetésére” szólított fel – számolt be az MTI csütörtökön a belga sajtóra hivatkozva.
A VRT flamand közszolgálati televízió által nyilvánosságra hozott információkat Sammy Mahdi, a belga menekültügyi és migrációs államtitkár is megerősítette.
Az államtitkár a sajtónak elmondta, hogy három hónappal ezelőtt döntött a tilalom elrendeléséről „a biztonsági szolgálatoktól kapott információk alapján”, és „a nemzetbiztonságot fenyegető súlyos veszélyre utaló jelek miatt”. A tilalom tíz évre szól.
Az imám, Mohamed Toujgani, korábban a molenbeeki Al-Khalil mecsetben, Belgium egyik legnagyobb muszlim imahelyén prédikált. A VRT szerint 2009-ben a zsidók elégetésére szólította fel híveit, az erről készült videó 2019-ben bukkant fel a világhálón. A televíziós csatorna közölte, hogy Toujgani bocsánatot kért a beszédért, és arra hivatkozott, hogy Izraelnek a Gázai övezetben élő palesztinok elleni „háborúja” miatt ragadtatta magát az uszításra.
Az imám, aki többek között a belgiumi Marokkói Imámok Ligájának vezetője, az állambiztonság, a belga polgári hírszerző szolgálat megfigyelése alatt állt. Jelenleg ugyan nem tartózkodik Belgiumban, de ügyvédjén keresztül fellebbezést nyújtott be a kiutasító határozat ellen.
A flamand televíziós csatorna szerint a vallási vezető 40 éve él Belgiumban a családjával együtt.

A Deutsche Welle, a német közszolgálati rádióadó vizsgálatot rendelt el, mivel négy alkalmazottja és egy szabadúszó munkatársa olyan kommenteket tettek közzé a közösségi médiában, ami relativizálja a Holokausztot és nyíltan hirdeti az antiszemitizmust – írja a szombat.org. Bejelentették, hogy az arab nyelvű adás munkatársait a vizsgálat végéig felmentették a munkavégzés alól.
A vizsgálatot két független szakértő, a korábbi német igazságügyi miniszter Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger és a pszichológus Ahmad Mansour vezeti. A közösségi média fiókokban keringő kommenteket a Süddeutsche Zeitung hozta nyilvánosságra a héten.
A Deutsche Welle megköveteli alkalmazottaitól, hogy eleget tegyenek bizonyos etikai követelményeknek; ide tartozik Izrael létjogosultságának elismerése és az antiszemitizmus elutasítása.
Peter Limbourg, a Deutsche Welle főigazgatója szerint a Süddeutsche Zeitungban megjelent kommentek sértik ezeket az előírásokat.
