Az agresszor hozzá nem értő tevékenysége a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőműben részleges áramszünethez vezettek, számolt be az Enerhoatom sajtószolgálata november 16-án.
„2023. november 14-én részleges áramszünet állt be az orosz megszállók és a Roszatom alkalmazottai szakmaiatlan tevékenysége következtében. A Zaporizzsjai Atomerőmű hatodik blokkjában áramszünet következett be, ennek eredményeként beindultak a dízelgenerátorok és a biztonsági rendszerek, amelyek 90 percig működtek. Ez idő alatt az állomás megszálló vezetése vizsgálta az áramszünet okait, és azt vitatta, hogy mit tegyen a kialakult helyzetben, amihez szakmaiatlan tevékenysége vezetett” – áll a közleményben.
Megjegyezték, hogy ezeket az adatokat megerősítik a NAÜ-ellenőrök információi is, akik a megszállt állomás helyszínén tartózkodnak.
„A Zaporizzsjai Atomerőműt megszállt orosz agresszor szakmaiatlansága miatt a berendezések folyamatosan leépülnek, és növekszik a veszélyes meghibásodások száma. Az agresszor jelenléte Európa legnagyobb nukleáris létesítményénél veszélyezteti a nukleáris és sugárbiztonságot” – tette hozzá az Enerhoatom.
Egyben közölték, hogy a Zaporizzsja Atomerőmű megszállása óta hét alkalommal történt teljes áramszünet.
„Az ilyen esetek az egész kontinens részére fenyegetést jelentenek, mert a megszállók nem felelősek az állomás nukleáris és sugárbiztonságáért” – hangsúlyozták a közleményben.
Az Enerhoatom kiemelte, hogy a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőművet haladéktalanul át kell adni a legális üzemeltető – Enerhoatom – teljes felügyelete alá, mert csak ebben az esetben garantálható a létesítmény nukleáris és sugárbiztonsága.

A Ciaran viharciklon, amely 2023. november 2-án csapott le Franciaország északnyugati részére, rendkívüli pusztítást végzett.
A vihar 207 km/órás szélsebességgel érkezett, ami az elmúlt évtizedek egyik legnagyobb szélsebességének számít a régióban. A vihar következtében több mint 1,2 millió háztartás maradt áram nélkül, különösen Bretagne és Normandia részein. A vihar áldozatokat is követelt: egy ember életét vesztette a viharban.
A vihar gyorsan halad tovább a szárazföld belseje felé, összesen 31 francia régióban adtak ki narancssárga riasztást. A part menti területeken 8-10 méteres hullámokat regisztráltak. Az energiaellátás megszakadása és az infrastruktúra károsodása miatt számos helyen fennakadások voltak az áramellátásban és a közlekedésben. A vihar miatt az érintett területeken szükségállapotot hirdettek, és a hatóságok folyamatosan dolgoznak az áramellátás helyreállításán és a károk enyhítésén.
A Ciaran vihar nem csak Franciaországot érintette, hanem az egész északnyugat-európai régiót.

Háztartások tízezrei maradtak áram nélkül keddre virradóra Japán nyugati részén, miután lecsapott a szigetországra a Lan nevű tájfun. Emellett több mint 800 járatot töröltek, a hatóságok pedig áradásokra és földcsuszamlásokra figyelmeztettek – jelentette az NHK japán közszolgálati televízió.
A tájfun Vakajama prefektúránál, mintegy 400 kilométerre Tokiótól délnyugatra csapott le. Helyszíni beszámolók szerint mintegy 650-en rekedtek az Oszakai-öbölnél lévő Kanszaj nemzetközi repülőtéren, a járattörlések pedig több mint 50 ezer utast érintenek.
A Lan, óránkénti 108 kilométeres sebességgel várhatóan északnyugat felé veszi az irányt, helyi idő szerint szerda reggelre éri el a Japán-tengert és észak felé indul – jelentette be a japán meteorológiai intézet.
Augusztus elején a Khanun tájfun is lecsapott Japánra, a viharok és esők akkor halálos áldozatokat követeltek.

Helyi idő szerint szerda déltől országos áramszünet van a belső konfliktus dúlta Líbiában.
Az állami áramszolgáltató vállalat tájékoztatása szerint az áramellátást „műszaki kísérletek” idejére szakították meg az elektromos hálózat korszerűsítésének keretében. A cég nem jelezte előre az áramszünetet.
Mindazonáltal közölték, hogy a munkálatok lezárultával helyreállítják a szolgáltatást. Egyelőre nem tudni, hogy a közelebbről nem meghatározott kísérletek, amelyekben a német Siemens konszern is részt vesz, meddig tartanak.
Líbiában, bár hatalmas olaj- és gázkészletekkel rendelkezik, az üzemanyag-ellátás akadozik. Korábban gyakorta voltak áramkimaradások és leállások a hálózat túlterheltsége miatt.
A helyzet némileg javult, részben annak köszönhetően, hogy egyre több külföldi vállalat vesz részt az elektromos hálózat javításában, illetve fenntartásában. Moammer el-Kadhafi líbiai diktátor 2011-es meggyilkolása óta az országban polgárháborús viszonyok uralkodnak.

Továbbra sem működött az áramszolgáltatás több százezer háztartásban Québecben pénteken, két nappal a Kanada keleti részén átsöprő jégvihar után. A természeti katasztrófa miatt két ember életét vesztette, és jelentős károkat okozott, mindenekelőtt Montrealban.
Az ónos eső által érintettek több mint egyharmadánál visszakapcsolták az áramszolgáltatást, de pénteken még így is mintegy 630 ezer háztartás volt áram nélkül a Hydro-Québec áramszolgáltató közlése szerint.
Montrealban – ahol az áramkimaradások mintegy felét észlelték – hat menedékszállást nyitottak az áram nélkül maradt lakók számára. A szállások napközben is nyitva tartanak a hosszú húsvéti hétvégén.
A hatóságok szerint az ítéletidőnek Kanadában két halálos áldozata van: Ontario keleti részében egy helyi lakosra rádőlt egy fa, egy hatvanéves québeci férfit pedig egy faág sebesített meg halálosan a kertjében.
A montreali városháza több száz alkalmazottja dolgozott pénteken is az utcákon, főként a parkokban, ahol számos faág borította a talajt, miután letörtek a jég súlya alatt.
Az 1 Celsius-fok körüli hőmérsékletnek köszönhetően a jég már elolvadt, de továbbra is erősek a széllökések.
A vihar Québecet és Ontariót, a két legnépesebb tartomány sújtotta. Québecben legutóbb 1998-ban volt ennél súlyosabb áramkimaradás, amikor az ónos eső után hetekig tartó káosz uralkodott a térségben.

Dél-Afrika elnöke, Cyril Ramaphosa szükségállapotot hirdetett a hónapok óta húzódó energiaválság miatt.
A 60 milliós országban több hónapja csak a nap bizonyos időszakaiban juthatnak áramhoz a háztartások és a vállalatok, az év eleje óta sokszor napi 12 órán át szünetel az áramszolgáltatás.
Éves parlamenti beszédében Cyril Ramaphosa kijelentette: a katasztrófahelyzet kihirdetésére annak érdekében van szükség, hogy megfelelő intézkedéseket tudjanak tenni a válság leküzdésére. Hangoztatta azt is: meg kell akadályozni, hogy az energiaválság társadalmi válsággá szélesedjen. Az országban így is egyre többször tartanak tiltakozó akciókat a gazdasági nehézségek miatt.
A különleges jogrend kihirdetése egyebek között azt teszi lehetővé, hogy a kormány anyagi forrásokat szabadítson fel a válság megoldásának érdekében. Ramaphosa kijelentette, hogy az élelmiszer-ellátásban érintett ágazatokat az elsők között támogatják a pótlólagos forrásokból.
A kórházaknál és a víztisztításhoz szükséges létesítményeknél pedig arra törekszenek, hogy egyáltalán ne érintsék őket az áramkimaradások. Kineveznek egy energiaügyért felelős minisztert is – mondta az államfő.
