A jelentés szerint Barabas az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús adásában elmondta: „A helyzet továbbra is nagyon feszült. Tegnap az oroszok tömegesen támadásba lendültek. 3:00 óra körül megkezdődött az állások tömeges ágyúzása a város körül. Mind északról, mind délről az ipari negyedet is elkezdték lőni.” Mint kifejtette, hajnali 5:30-6:00 óra körül elkezdték a város össztúz alá vételét. Az oroszok kedden nagy erőkkel rohamoztak, több tucat páncélozott járművet használtak erre a célra, de az ukrán erők ezek jelentős részét már megsemmisítette. Egyúttal jelezte azt is, hogy az oroszok tegnap 2000 fővel indítottak támadást, ezért nem könnyű a helyzet.
„A teljes körű háború kezdete óta ilyen támadás Avgyijivka ellen még soha nem volt. Korábban az oroszok bejelentették, hogy tegnap körülbelül 50 egységnyi haditechnika lendült támadásba, de pontosan tudjuk, hogy több mint 60 egységnyi technikát lőttünk ki. Megsemmisítettünk egy repülőgépet, egy Mi-8-as helikoptert is” – mondta el a város katonai vezetője. Azt is hozzátette, hogy ilyen még soha nem történt, korábban 20-25 egységnyi eszközzel támadtak az oroszok, vagyis az avgyijivkai fronton nagyon nagy összecsapás kezdődik.

Az utóbbi napokban az oroszok előrenyomultak Avgyijivka, Bahmut és Liman irányában, és ott taktikai sikereket értek el – közölte hétfőn a Védelmi Minisztérium Katonai Médiaközpontja, adta hírül az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál.
A médiaközpont jelentése szerint „Az elmúlt napokban az ellenség támadó hadműveleteket hajtott végre Avgyijivka, Bahmut és Liman irányában, és ott taktikai sikereket ért el. Ugyanakkor az ellenség aktívan védekezik a Kupjanszk, Novopavlivka, Orehovo és Pridnyiprovszk irányában.”
A Védelmi Minisztérium orgánuma arról is beszámolt, hogy Donyeck irányában az ellenség fő erőfeszítéseit Bahmut és Marjinka városok elfoglalására, valamint az Avgyijivka városába vezető utánpótlási útvonalak elzárására összpontosítja. Tavrijszk irányában a megszállók fő erőfeszítéseiket a pozícióik védelmére, az ukrán csapatoknak a Dnyeper torkolatánál lévő szigeteken való megkapaszkodásának megakadályozására, a megszállt területek határai és a logisztikai útvonal feletti ellenőrzés elvesztésének megakadályozására összpontosították.
Brjanszk és Kurszk körzetek határterületein az oroszok két műveleti csapatcsoportot tartanak készenlétben. Ismeretes, hogy a megszállók ezt azért teszik, hogy megakadályozzák az ukrán erők átdobását az aktív harcok területére.

Andrij Jermak, Zelenszkij kabinetfőnöke március 26-án arról számolt be, hogy orosz légicsapás ért két többemeletes épületet a Donyecki területhez tartozó Avgyijivka városában.
Jermak szerint a támadásban senki nem halt meg, további információval azonban nem szolgált.
A Donyecki területen található Avgyijivka bekerítésével próbálkozik az agresszor, de az orosz csapatok „kezdenek kimerülni” ott – közölte szombaton Olekszij Dmitraskivszkij ukrán katonai szóvivő március 24-én.
Az orosz erők megpróbálják bekeríteni a „második Bahmutnak” tartott Avgyijivka városát, és Marinkát is támadják – mondta Dmitraskivszkij az országos televízióban.
„Egy-két héttel ezelőtt voltak olyan napok, amikor az oroszok 95 alkalommal támadtak egy területen. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az ellenség kezd kimerülni” – jegyezte meg a szóvivő.

A Donyecktől északra fekvő Avgyijivka város körül egyre feszültebb a helyzet, az oroszok folyamatosan próbálják körülvenni a várost – közölte hétfőn Olekszij Dmitraskivszkij, a tavriai front védelmi erői egyesített sajtóközpontjának vezetője egy televíziós műsorban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a vezető szóvivő az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús műsorának nyilatkozva elmondta: „Az ellenség folyamatosan próbálja bekeríteni Avgyijivkát, egyetértek a brit kollégáimmal, akik azt mondják, hogy hamarosan Avgyijivka lesz a második Bahmut. Ez valóban így lesz. De jelenleg nincs minden olyan rendben az orosz egységekkel, amelyek támadnak ebben az irányban.”
A sajtós tiszt elmondása szerint az elmúlt napokban az oroszok elhasználták a rendelkezésükre álló tartalékokat, és komoly személyi és eszköz-veszteségeket szenvedtek. „Az elmúlt nap során az ellenség körülbelül három századnyi élőerőt veszített” – mondta el Olekszij Dmitraskivszkij, megjegyezve, hogy az oroszok támadásai a jelzett irányban azonos típusúak, ezért kiszámíthatóak, így az ukrán harcosoknak sikerül visszaverniük a támadásokat.

Szívinfarktusban halt meg egy 6 éves kislány a Donyeck megyei Avgyijivkában, amelyet az orosz megszállók folyamatosan ágyúznak – mondta el az egyik tévécsatorna adásában Vitalij Barabas, a város katonai adminisztrációjának vezetője, írja az Ukrajinszka Pravda.
Ismeretes, hogy a gyerek a nagyszüleinél élt, édesanyja külföldön dolgozik, édesapja pedig meghalt.
„Este a gyermek keze és lába zsibbadni kezdett, nem szólt senkinek. Sajnos nincs semmilyen törvényes mechanizmus arra, hogy kikényszerítsük a gyerekek eltávolítását a városból” – jegyezte meg Barabas.
Vlagyiszlav Mahovszkij önkéntes, aki részt vesz az emberek evakuálásában a fronthoz közeli területekről, a portálnak nyilatkozva elmondta, többször is felajánlotta a családnak, hogy távozzanak. Június óta a család az pincében élt.
„Nem akartak evakuálni, mert Avgyijivka régi részében vannak Eli nagyszüleinek öregecske szülei” – mondta az önkéntes.
Az avgyijivkai katonai közigazgatás vezetője szerint 2 500 lakos maradt a városban, köztük gyerekek.
„Az elmúlt két hétben egyetlen ember sem utazott el, még csak nem is hívott senki és nem kért evakuálást” – tette hozzá Vitalij Barabas.
