A técsői hatóságokhoz január 3-án érkezett bejelentés, miszerint eltűnt egy 16 éves végzős fiatal Pelesalján, akinek édesapja elmondta, hogy fiával korábban sosem történt hasonló eset, s a család nagyon aggódik a történtek miatt.
A rendőrség azonnal a fiú keresésére indult, s január 4-én Gányán bukkantak rá egy árok mellett, holtan. A test megvizsgálásakor a szakértők testi sérüléseket fedeztek fel. Később a helyszínen lévő térfigyelő kamerák felvételei által kiderült, hogy a kamaszt egy Mercedes Sprinter gázolta el január 2-án, kijevi idő szerint 17 óra 45 perckor. A 11. osztályos tanuló a helyszínen életét vesztette.
A tettes elhajtott a helyszínről, s aktívan hozzáfogott a jármű megjavításához, azonban a mikrobuszon még maradtak bizonyítékok a balesetről. Az ügyben eljárás indult, a vizsgálatok megkezdődtek.

Halálra gázolt egy teherautó egy gyalogost London délkeleti részén. A rendőrség szerint a gázoló volt az a támadó, aki nem sokkal korábban megkéselt két férfit az egyik helyi kocsmában.
A rendőröket péntek este kilenc óra körül hívták a Chislehurst-i Gordon Arms kocsmába, a bejelentés szerint verekedés tört ki.
Mikor a rendőrök megérkeztek a helyszínre, két férfit találtak szúrt sebekkel, őket a mentők kórházba vitték.
Pár perccel az eset után egy harmincas éveiben járó férfit halálra gázoltak egy furgonnal, kevesebb, mint egy mérföldre a késelés helyszínétől.
A furgon nem állt meg, a rendőrök később találtak rá a gázolás helyszínétől nem messze. Azonban ekkor már nem ült benne senki – írja a Sky News.
A rendőrség keresi a késelőt, aki elmondásuk szerint ugyanaz a férfi, aki halálra gázolta a furgonnal a gyalogost.

Egy 35 éves ausztrál férfit letartóztattak, miután a bérelt terepjárójával három óra alatt 8 cserbenhagyásos gázolást követett el Sydney-ben, valamint megrongált 5 autót is. Az esetek során három biciklis sérült meg súlyosabban.
A rendőrség szerint szándékosan követte el a baleseteket. A Queenslandben regisztrált autót akkor állították meg vasárnap reggel nyolc óra körül egy gyorshajtás miatt, és el is vették a sofőr jogosítványát. A férfi kilenc óra magasságában ütötte el az első áldozatát, egy 48 éves kerékpárost.
A férfit végül közel 24 órával az ámokfutásának kezdete után, egy benzinkúton kapták el hétfő reggel 8 óra magasságában.

Az elkövető elhajtott a helyszínről, menekülés közben elütött egy járókelőt is, aki könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett. A rendőrség lezárta a könyéket.
A BBC szerint a lövöldözést követően négy órával a rendőrség két embert letartóztatott az üggyel kapcsolatban.
Új-Zélandon a rendőrök általában nem viselnek fegyvert és ritkán forul elő, hogy egy rendőr szolgálatteljesítés közben meghal. Legutóbb 2009-ben öltek meg egy rendőrt Napier településen egy házkutatás során.

Április 22-én a késő esti órákban baleset történt a rahói járási Gyertyánligeten. A hatóságokhoz bejelentés érkezett egy helyi személytől, miszerint egy holttestre bukkant az út mentén.
A helyszínre kiérkező operatív csoport megállapította, hogy a 43 éves gyertyánligeti férfi halálát gázolás okozta. A hatóságoknak sikerült a nyomára bukkanni a balesetet okozó Mercedes Benz típusú járműnek. A gépkocsi 41 éves nagybocskói sofőrjének vérében 1,09 promille alkoholszintet mértek.
A rendőrség lefoglalta a járművet, az ügyben eljárást indítottak, a járművezetőt letartóztatták – közölte a megyei rendőrség kommunikációs osztálya.

áldozat személyazonosságát megállapították, egy 26 éves helyi lakos. A
gépkocsivezetője a helyszínről elmenekült. A nyilvánosság bevonásával sikerült
kideríteni a tragédia okozóját: a gázoló autót a szomszéd Alsószeliscsén

Egy férfi holttestet találtak az úttesten a huszti járási Husztköz faluban. Megállapították, hogy a férfi közúti baleset áldozata lett. A gázolót, aki elmenekült a helyszínről, még keresik. A rendőrség a lakosság segítségét kéri, aki bármilyen információval rendelkezik a husztközi balesettel kapcsolatban, hívja a „102” vonalat, vagy jelentkezzen a legközelebbi rendőrőrsnél.
A baleset valószínűleg január 26-án, éjjel 01:30-kor történt. A baleset következtében egy 20-25 éves férfi a helyszínen életét vesztette. A járművezető személyazonosságát, valamint a járművet, amellyel elkövette a halált okozó gázolást keresik, jelentette a Kárpátaljai megyei rendőrség kommunikációs osztálya.
