A portál a városi rendőrségre hivatkozva közölte, hogy a londoni Nemzeti Galériában pénteken elkövetett akció miatt a 20 éves newcastle-i Anna Hollandot és a 21 éves claphami Phoebe Plummert idézték be a westminsteri bíróságra.
Egy harmadik aktivista, a 38 éves Lora Johnson ellen szándékos károkozás vádjával indul büntetőeljárás, mivel sárga festékkel locsolta le a rendőrség főépülete előtt álló Scotland Yard feliratú táblát és környezetét.
A rendőrség beszámolója szerint az elmúlt nap folyamán 28 embert tartóztattak le Londonban, miután a két aktivista által képviselt Just Stop Oil nevű környezetvédő csoport két hete tart demonstrációkat a brit fővárosban.
Pénteken az aktivisták a Scotland Yard főépületéhez vezető utat is eltorlaszolták. Az ellen tiltakoznak, hogy a kormány az energiaellátási kockázatok csökkentése végett új nyersolaj-kitermelési engedélyek kiadását tervezi.
A Nemzeti Galéria péntek este közleményben tudatta, hogy jóllehet az 1888-ban készült festmény keretét kisebb károsodás érte a paradicsomlevesnek tűnő folyadék miatt, az alkotás – amelyet üveglap védett – sértetlen maradt, és megfelelő tisztítás után, 6 óra elteltével visszakerült helyére, tehát ismét látogatható.

Eljárás indult Alexis Kohler, a francia elnöki hivatal vezetője ellen egy összeférhetetlenségi gyanú miatt – erősítette meg hétfőn a pénzügyi visszaéléseket vizsgáló országos ügyészség a France Info közszolgálati hírrádió értesülését.
Alexis Kohler korábban a pénzügy-, illetve a gazdasági minisztériumnak, később pedig annak az olasz–svájci magáncégnek az egyik tisztségviselője volt, amely üzleti ügyben tárgyalt a francia állammal, és amelynek tulajdonosaihoz rokoni kapcsolatok fűzik.
Alexis Kohler a posztján marad Emmanuel Macron államfő mellett a szeptember 23-i vád alá helyezés után is – tudatta az elnöki hivatal.
Kohler ellen az Anticor nevű korrupcióellenes szervezet még 2018-ban tett panaszt befolyással való üzérkedés, összeférhetetlenség és passzív korrupció miatt, miután rokoni kapcsolatban áll az Aponte olasz családdal, amely alapítója és tulajdonosa a Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) olasz–svájci hajózási társaságnak. A társaságot Kohler anyjának unokatestvérei alapították.
A feljelentés nyomán indított előzetes eljárást 2019 augusztusában a pénzügyi ügyészség vádemelés nélkül lezárta. Ezt követően az Anticor 2019. december 4-én újabb feljelentést tett, ennek nyomán indították újra a vizsgálatot a független vizsgálóbírók, majd megalapozottnak tartották a gyanút, ezért az ügyészség végül megindította az eljárást.
Az elnöki hivatal vezetője tagadja, hogy bármilyen szabálysértést elkövetett volna – tudatta közleményben az ügyvédje.
Az MSC és az elnöki hivatal vezetője közti családi kapcsolatokról 2018-ban jelent meg több cikk a Mediapart portálon, miután az MSC a nyugat-franciaországi Saint-Nazaire-ben található STX France hajógyár egyik fő ügyfele.
Kohler 2012–2014 között a francia állami vagyonügynökség, 2014–2016 között a pénzügyminisztérium kabinetfőnöke volt. Akkor távozott a minisztériumtól, amikor Emmanuel Macron jelenlegi államfő 2016-ban lemondott gazdasági miniszteri tisztségéről, hogy jelöltethesse magát az elnökválasztáson. A kampányban Kohler nem vett részt, hanem kilenc hónapig az MSC gazdasági igazgatója volt Genfben, majd amikor Macront 2017 májusában megválasztották, visszatért a politikai életbe és az elnök kabinetfőnöke lett.
Amikor Kohler még a pénzügyminisztériumban dolgozott, a francia állam kiterjedt tárgyalásokat folytatott az MSC-vel arról, hogy a cég megvenné a veszteséges nagy francia hajóépítő cégeket.
Az előzetes vizsgálat során tucatnyi embert hallgattak meg a nyomozók, köztük Alexis Kohlert is. A jegyzőkönyvek alapján két, egymásnak ellentmondó rendőrségi jelentés is született az AFP hírügynökség szerint. Az első szerint Kohler nem avatkozott bele az MSC-vel kapcsolatos kérdésekbe, amikor a pénzügyminisztériumban dolgozott, a második szerint viszont igen.
Emmanuel Macron 2019-ben „személyes feljegyzésben” kezességet vállalt munkatársáért a vizsgálóbíróknál. A 2019. július 1-jei keltezésű levélben a köztársasági elnök azt írta, tudott arról, hogy Alexis Kohlert családi kapcsolatok fűzik az MSC részvényeseihez, amikor kinevezte 2014-ben az általa vezetett gazdasági minisztériumban kabinetfőnökének. Emiatt nem is vett részt azokban a tárgyalásokban, amelyek a francia állam és az olasz–svájci cég között folytak – írta Macron.

A Le Monde megállapításai szerint egy olajipari óriáscég, a TotalEnergies részt vehetett az orosz hadsereg üzemanyag-ellátásában, amellyel az EU-s szankciókat is megsérthette, így Clément Beaune francia közlekedési miniszter csütörtökön vizsgálatot indított az ügy feltárására.
A rendelkezésre álló információkból kiderül, miszerint a cég által kezelt gázmezőkön a kitermelt gázkondenzátum egy részét kerozinná alakították át, amelyet két, az ukrán határhoz közeli katonai bázisra szállítottak.
Az ott tárolt vadászgépeket tankolhatták meg a TotalEnergies által előállított üzemanyaggal, amelyek feltehetőleg részt vettek az ukrajnai bombázásokban, bár azt elég nehéz pontosan meghatározni, hogy mely csapásokról van szó.
A miniszter szerint ez egy rendkívül komoly ügy, amelyet mihamarabb tisztázni kell, hiszen a kérdés továbbra is az, hogy akarva vagy akaratlanul megkerülték-e a szankciókat, vagy eltérítették-e azt az energiát, amelyet egy vállalat – akár francia, akár nem – termelne.
Azt nem részletezte, hogy ki felelős a vizsgálat elvégzéséért, majd hozzátette, egyelőre nincs több információja az ügy kapcsán – derül ki a Politico beszámolójából.
A Terneftegaz, a TotalEnergies és az orosz Novatek cég közös vállalata a szibériai Termokarsztovojé gázmezőt tárja fel, emellett a TotalEnergies a Novatek 19,4 százalékát birtokolja, valamint a közös cégben is 51 százalékos részesedéssel bír.
A vállalat közleménye alapján a TotalEnergies nem üzemelteti a Terneftegaz erőműveit, amelyeket a Novatek munkatársai irányítanak, emellett nem vesz részt a Novatek döntéseiben azt illetően, hogy a gázkondenzátumokat milyen módon, illetve kinek értékesítik.

A német szövetségi legfőbb ügyész eljárást indított az Oroszország Ukrajna elleni háborújával összefüggő háborús bűncselekmények bizonyítékainak összegyűjtésére – jelentette be a német szövetségi igazságügyi miniszter egy keddi lapinterjúban.
Marco Buschmann a Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung (RNZ) honlapján közölt interjúban kifejtette, hogy Németország nem csupán a Nyugat egyedülállóan kemény, Oroszország elleni gazdasági büntetőintézkedéseihez csatlakozott a nemzetközi jog súlyos megsértését jelentő ukrajnai orosz invázió miatt, hanem fegyvereket is szállít, humanitárius segítséget is nyújt Ukrajnának, és az európai uniós tagországok igazságügyi minisztereinek megállapodása alapján feltárja és összegyűjti a háborús bűncselekményekre vonatkozó összes bizonyítékot.
Ezért a szövetségi legfőbb ügyész elindított egy „úgynevezett strukturális vizsgálatot” – mondta a miniszter. „A nemzetközi büntetőjog esetleges megsértését következetesen üldözni kell” – tette hozzá a liberális Szabad Demokrata Párt (FDP) politikusa.
A Der Spiegel című hírmagazin kedden igazságügyi körökre hivatkozva azt jelentette, hogy a vizsgálatot az orosz fegyveres erők által Ukrajnában elkövetett háborús bűncselekmények gyanúja miatt indította el Peter Frank szövetségi legfőbb ügyész.
A strukturális eljárás tényfeltárást jelent, a munka során bizonyítékokat gyűjtenek, hogy szükség esetén felléphessenek az elkövetőkkel szemben. A hatóságot a többi között a tiltott tüzérségi eszközök bevetéséről, a lakóövezetek és a polgári infrastruktúra elleni támadásokról szóló jelentések sarkallták a vizsgálat elkezdésére – írta a Der Spiegel a hírportálján.
Hozzátették, hogy a német ügyészek figyelmének középpontjában vannak az orosz vagy csecsen egységek által vezetett állítólagos halállistákról szóló beszámolók is. Felidézték, hogy Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán államfő a napokban azt mondta, hogy ő áll az első helyen ezeken a listákon.
Az eljárás alapja a nemzetközi büntetőjog azon előírása, hogy a háborús és az emberiesség elleni bűncselekmények ügyében közvetlenül nem érintett, úgynevezett harmadik országok hatóságai is felléphetnek. A szövetségi legfőbb ügyészség ennek alapján törekedik a Bassár-el Aszad vezette szíriai rezsimhez köthető háborús és emberiesség elleni bűncselekmények feltárására is, és az elkövetők felelősségre vonására. Az első ügyekben már ítéletet is hoztak német bíróságok.

Egy katonai törvényszéken indult eljárás vasárnap Iránban a hadsereg tíz tagja ellen a csaknem két éve véletlenül lelőtt ukrán utasszállító repülőgéppel összefüggésben. A teheráni bíróság feladata a több mint száz vádló kezdeményezte perben kideríteni, ki felelős a gép lelövéséért, illetve miért hátráltatták a történtek feltárását.
Az ukrán nemzetközi légitársaság Teheránból Kijevbe tartó Boeing–737-ese 2020. január 8-án, nem sokkal a felszállás után zuhant le az iráni főváros közelében.
Az iráni hatóságok először balesetről beszéltek, majd elismerték, hogy az iráni Forradalmi Gárda légvédelme tévedésből lelőtte a gépet. A repülőn 176 ember volt, és senki sem élte túl a tragédiát.
Az iráni kormány szerint végzetes hibáról volt szó a hadsereg részéről, amely riadókészültségben volt, miután egy amerikai drón megölte Bagdadban Kászim Szulejmáni tábornokot, az iráni Forradalmi Gárda magas rangú parancsnokát. Az irániak esetleges válaszcsapásoktól tartottak, miután a dróntámadásra megtorlásul rakétákat lőttek ki olyan iraki támaszpontokra, amelyeken amerikai katonák állomásoztak. Az iráni polgári repülési igazgatóság tavaly júliusi jelentése pedig a katonai radar hibás kezelésére, valamint több emberi mulasztásra hivatkozott, amik az ukrán gép lelövéséhez vezethettek.
Tavaly decemberben a teheráni vezetés a halottak hozzátartozóinak fejenként 150 ezer dollárnak megfelelő kártérítést ajánlott fel.
