Péntekre virradó éjszaka folytatódtak a heves harcok Szoledarért, az ellenség szinte minden erőt bevetett Donyeck irányában, és intenzíven nyomul előre – közölte Hanna Maljar védelmi miniszter-helyettes a Telegram-csatornáján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Maljar azt írta: az éjszaka Szoledarban folytatódtak a heves harcok. Az ellenség szinte az összes fő erőit bevetette Donyeck irányában, és nagy intenzitású offenzívát folytat. Harcosaink bátran próbálják tartani a védelmet. „Ez egy nehéz szakasza a háborúnak, de győzni fogunk. Semmi kétség” – fejezte ki meggyőződését a helyettes védelmi miniszter.
Mint hírportálunk tegnap beszámolt róla, Olekszij Danilov, az ukrán Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács (RNBO) titkára kijelentette: a következő hónapok nagyon fontosak lesznek az Oroszország és Ukrajna közötti háborúban, mert mindkét fél döntő csatára készül. Elmondása szerint „a következő két-három hónap nagyon fontos, szinte döntő lesz abban a csatában, amelyre mi készülünk, és ellenségünk, az agresszor készül.”

A legsúlyosabb harcok ma a Donyeck megyei Szoledar térségében folynak, ahol az ellenség folytatja a támadásait, de súlyos veszteségeket szenved, és nem ér el sikereket – közölte csütörtökön Hanna Maljar ukrán védelmi miniszterhelyettes a sajtótájékoztatóján, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint Maljar azt mondta: „ma a legkiélezettebb és legsúlyosabb csaták Szoledar térségében folynak Bahmut irányában. A nehéz helyzet ellenére az ukrán katonák elkeseredett ellenállást tanúsítanak.” Az ellenség, amely sikertelenül próbál áttörni a védelmünkön és elfoglalni Szoledart, súlyos veszteségeket szenved el – tette hozzá.
A helyettes védelmi miniszter hangsúlyozta, hogy a város határa ma valójában tele van a putyini csapatok megölt katonáinak a holttestével. „Ennek ellenére közvetlenül a halott katonáik tetemei fölött lépkednek. Védőink maximális rugalmasságot és hősiességet tanúsítanak” – hangsúlyozta Hanna Maljar.
Mint hírportálunk tegnap beszámolt róla, Szerhij Cserevatij, a Kelet hadseregcsoport sajtószóvivője kijelentette, hogy valótlanok az orosz megszállók állításai, miszerint a Donyeck megyei Szoledar már állítólag az ellenőrzésük alatt van, meg kell várni az ukrán vezérkar jelentését.Ahogy hangsúlyozta: „az oroszok azt mondják, hogy az ellenőrzésük alatt áll, de ez nem igaz. Várjuk meg a részleteket a vezérkar jelentésében.”

Újra fellángolt az erőszak az Azerbajdzsán és Örményország között fekvő Hegyi-Karabahban, és a bakui kormányzat szerdán bejelentette, hogy több magaslati helyszínen átvette az uralmat a térségben, illetve örmény célpontokat semmisített meg. A harcokban eddig legalább három ember meghalt, és tovább nőtt a háború veszélye a hegyvidéki enklávéban.
„Átvettük az irányítást több stratégiai magaslati ponton, beleértve a domboldalakat is” – jelentette be az azeri védelmi minisztérium szerdai nyilatkozatában, hozzátéve, hogy csapataik folyamatosan erősítik pozícióikat.
Szerdán a harcoló felek arról számoltak be, hogy két örmény és egy azeri katona meghalt a fegyveres összecsapásokban, amelyekkel ismét megnőtt egy súlyos fegyveres konfliktus kialakulásának veszélye a 2020-as hegyi-karabahi háború után.
Ezek a tűzpárbajok vélhetően lelassítják az Azerbajdzsán és Örményország között az Európai Unió közvetítésével hónapok óta folyó béketárgyalásokat.
A növekvő feszültség miatt Arajik Harutjunjan hegyi-karabahi szeparatista vezető szerdán részleges katonai mozgósítást rendelt el a térségben – áll az elnök honlapján.
Az 1991-ben kirobbant, éveken át tartó első hegyi-karabahi háború több mint 30 ezer áldozatot követelt.
Ezt követően 2020 őszén Örményország és Azerbajdzsán ismét összecsapott a hegyvidéki térség miatt, amely Jereván támogatásával de facto elszakadt Azerbajdzsántól.
A második hegyi-karabahi háborúban több mint 6500 ember veszítette életét, és az Oroszország közvetítésével létrejött tűzszüneti megállapodás alapján Moszkva orosz békefenntartókat küldött Hegyi-Karabahba, Jereván pedig jelentős területet engedett át Azerbajdzsánnak.
A Baku és Jereván között az elmúlt években lezajlott diplomáciai enyhülés ellenére továbbra is nagy a feszültség a két volt szovjet tagköztársaság között.

Az ukrán fegyveres erők visszavonulása során bekövetkezett átmeneti területvesztés egyáltalán nem tragédia, a nemzet hiánya lenne az – jelentette ki Olekszij Danilov, a Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács (RNBO) titkára egy hétfői lapinterjúban, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Danilov a Financial Times című brit lapnak nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy jelenleg az ellenség tüzérségi fölényben van Szeverodonyeckben és Liszicsanszkban. „Sajnos most nem tudunk megfelelően reagálni ugyanazokkal az eszközökkel, mivel jelenleg hiányoznak a számunkra annyira szükséges fegyverek” – emlékeztetett.
Az RNBO-titkár megjegyezte, hogy az ukrán csapatok visszavonulhatnak Szeverodonyeckből és Donbász más városaiból, miközben átcsoportosítják erőiket. „A területek átmeneti elvesztése egyáltalán nem tragédia. A tragédia a nemzet elvesztése lenne” – mutatott rá Olekszij Danilov, arról biztosítva, hogy a nyugati fegyverek mindenképpen megérkeznek, az ukránok pedig visszaszerzik a területeiket.

A 32 területvédelmi dandárból 25 teljes egészében vagy részben harcol Oroszország ellen a háborúban – közölte Szerhij Szobko, a fegyveres erők vezérkari főnöke, adta hírül szerdán az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Szobko elmondta: „a területvédelmi egységek katonái Oroszország teljes körű agressziójának legelső napja óta aktívan részt vesznek az ellenség elleni harcokban. Ma a 32 területvédelmi dandárból körülbelül 25 vesz részt teljesen vagy részben a háborúban.”
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy a területvédelmi alakulatok fontos szerepet játszottak Kijev, Csernyihiv és Szumi megyék védelmében, majd felszabadításában, valamint Mariupol védelmében. Két nappal ezelőtt Harkiv térségében az egyik területvédelmi zászlóalj visszaszorította az orosz csapatokat egészen Oroszország határáig.
A területvédelmi erők más haderőnemekkel együtt a hadsereg része, a hadsereg főparancsnokának van alárendelve és teljesíti a parancsait. A területvédelmi erők alakulatai és egységei Ukrajna egész területén részt vehetnek területvédelmi és harci feladatok végrehajtásában.A május 17-i állapotok szerint az ukrán hadsereg területvédelmi erőinek létszáma elérte a 110 ezer főt.

Szombaton már harmadik napja folytak a harcok Északkelet-Szíriában az Iszlám Állam (IÁ) dzsihadista szervezet fegyveresei és a kurd erők között, amelyeknek eddig több mint hetven halálos áldozata van – közölte az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) nevű aktivistahálózat.
A dzsihadisták megtámadták a Haszake városban lévő börtönt, és összecsaptak a helyi kurd biztonsági erőkkel. Az előbbiek 45, utóbbiak 28 embert veszítettek, és meghalt öt civil is – mondta Rámi Abdurrahmán, a Szíria-szerte aktivistákkal rendelkező, de angliai központú szervezet vezetője.
A haszakei börtönben mintegy 3500 feltételezett dzsihadistát, köztük az IÁ vezető beosztású tagjait tartják fogva. Több száz őrizetesnek sikerült kiszabadulnia a börtönből, és néhány tucatnyinak sikerült elmenekülnie is, a többieket elfogták – tette hozzá Abdurrahmán.
De a küzdelem még folytatódik a börtönnél – mondta.
Ez volt az IÁ legjelentősebb támadása azóta, hogy 2019-ben az ellenük megszerveződött nemzetközi erők felszámolták kalifátusukat Szíriában és Irakban. Most már csak néhány tízezer emberük rejtőzködik az iraki-szíriai határvidéken, és hajt végre kisebb támadásokat.

Péntek óta Pakisztán a tűzszünet ismételt megsértésével vádolja Indiát. Iszlámábád állítása szerint India szándékosan lőtt civilekre a határ pakisztáni oldalán nyolc embert megsebesítve a hétvégén.
India és Pakisztán a két ország 1947-es függetlenné válása óta több háborút is vívott a máig vitatott státusú Kasmírért, ahol még jobban megnőtt a feszültség, amióta India hindu nacionalista kormánya megvonta a térség részleges autonómiáját.
