Három ember meghalt a hollandiai Delftben, miután egy autó egyelőre ismeretlen okból egy csatornába hajtott. A magyar rendszámú járműből két férfit emeltek ki, egyikük a kórházban vesztette életét – írja a holland RTL Nieuws. Később a búvárok két nő holtestét is megtalálták a vízben.
Holland lapok beszámolói szerint a baleset hajnali 5 óra körül történt. A tűzoltóság búvárjai két kritikus állapotban lévő férfit tudtak kiemelni a vízből: egyikük, a jármű vezetője a kórházban az életét vesztette, másikuk állapota válságos. Az autó harmadik utasa fizikailag sértetlen volt, amikor a mentők kiérkeztek, az elmerült autó tetején ült.
A búvárok a mentés után átkutatták a magyar rendszámú autót, és az azt körülvevő víz alatti területet is. Majd miután a járművet darus teherautóval kiemelték a vízből, annak helyén újabb víz alatti kutatást végeztek: délelőtt, az autótól mintegy 100-150 méterre két női holtestet is találtak. A holland rendőrség feltételezése szerint az autó két további utasáról lehet szó, de ezt hivatalosan még nem tudták megerősíteni.
A holland rendőrség korábban annyit közölt, hogy a baleset oka egyelőre ismeretlen. Jelenleg olyan szemtanúkat keresnek, akik több információval rendelkeznek a történetekről.

A holland rendőrség letartóztatott egy gyanúsítottat egy gazdag orosz műkincskereskedő meggyilkolásával kapcsolatban, akinek a testrészeit egy kék műanyag zacskóban találták meg az IJ folyóban.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy kedden letartóztattak egy 62 éves amszterdami férfit, miután a gyanúsított DNS-e állítólag megegyezett Alekszandr Levin, a 65 éves szentpétervári műkereskedő maradványain talált nyomokkal. Az áldozatot kegyetlenül meggyilkolták, levágták a fejét és a végtagjait. A törzsét egy járókelő találta meg a vízparton, a központi pályaudvarral szemben még 2013 januárjában. Az áldozat ujjlenyomataihoz vagy fogászati feljegyzéseihez való hozzáférés nélkül azonban a holland rendőrségnek csaknem egy évtizedbe telt, hogy azonosítsa a maradványokat. Az áttörés azután következett be, hogy az áldozat DNS-e megegyezett egy oroszországi rokonáéval.
Az orosz nyomozóbizottság által közzétett eltűnt személyről szóló jelentés szerint Levin 2013. január 17-én felszállt egy Szentpétervárról Amszterdamba tartó repülőre. Másnap repülővel utazott volna tovább a spanyol Gran Canaria szigetére, de ekkor nyoma veszett.
A rendőrség nem fedte fel a gyanúsított kilétét vagy a gyilkosság lehetséges indítékát, de azt kiderült, hogy a gyilkosságot előre megfontolt szándékkal követték el – írja a The Guardian.
A gyanúsított annak a helynek a közelében lakott, ahol a holttestet megtalálták. A áldozat az ortodox ikonok kiemelkedő kereskedőjeként szerzett hírnevet Szentpéterváron, homályos múltja volt az illegális műtárgybirtoklás és kereskedelem terén. Először 1998-ban ítélték 10 hónap börtönbüntetésre Hollandiában, miután a repülőtéren megtalálták nála a neves térképész, Johannes van Keulen ritka 18. századi atlaszát, amely állítólag a moszkvai orosz nemzeti könyvtár tulajdona volt. Az orosz rendőrség átkutatta a férfi szentpétervári lakásait, ahol közel 600 lopott ikont találtak. Az amszterdami börtönből való szabadulása után a férfi további két évet töltött börtönben Oroszországban. A letartóztatások ellenére jelentős vagyont halmozott fel az évek során.

Az 56 éves férfit – akit az ügyészek Dmitri K.-ként emlegetnek – távollétében ítélték el, és feltételezhetően Oroszországba menekült, miután tavaly a tárgyalásáig szabadlábra helyezték.
Ítéletében a bíróság kimondta, hogy a férfi hat éve mikrochipekkel és más elektronikai termékekkel kereskedett, miközben teljes mértékben tisztában volt az Oroszország elleni szankciókkal.
A férfi egy olyan céget vezetett, amely „kettős felhasználású” – polgári és katonai célokat egyaránt szolgáló – árukat irányított külföldi országokon keresztül oroszországi cégekhez, hogy megkerülje az uniós korlátozásokat – áll a bírósági ítéletben.
Ennek érdekében a férfi állítólag számlákat és a termékek végfelhasználójára vonatkozó nyilatkozatokat hamisított, hogy úgy tűnjön, mintha a termékeket a Maldív-szigetekre, sőt egyes esetekben egy nem létező ukrajnai cégnek szállították volna – közölte a rotterdami kerületi bíróság.

Augusztus végén letartóztatták a holland védelmi minisztérium egyik alkalmazottját, aki a gyanú szerint a szankciók kijátszásával repülőgép-alkatrészeket adott el Oroszországnak – közölte a pénzügyi bűncselekményeket vizsgáló holland hatóság (FIOD).
A házkutatás alkalmával férfi lakásán lőszereket is találtak, emellett közigazgatási információkat tartalmazó digitális adathordozókat foglaltak le a hatóságok.
A védelmi minisztérium nem közölt további részleteket a férfiról, mivel a nyomozás még tart, de sajtóinformációk szerint a gyanúsított a kilencvenes évek óta dolgozik a védelmi szektorban. A nyomozásba bevonták a holland hadsereg részeként működő, de rendvédelmi feladatokat is ellátó erőt, a királyi és katonai rendőrséget.
Az ügyre azután derült fény, hogy egy nappal korábban letartóztattak egy másik férfit, aki egy holland céget vezetve, repülőgép-alkatrészeket exportált főként Oroszországba más országok közbeiktatásával – közölte a FIOD. A rendőrség a férfi ingatlanjaiban repülőgép-alkatrészeket, fegyvereket, lőszereket, valamint több százezer euró készpénzt foglalt le. A nyomozásból származó információk vezettek a védelmi minisztérium alkalmazottjának őrizetbe vételéhez.
A FIOD tájékoztatása szerint az ügyet vizsgáló bíró döntése alapján mindkét gyanúsítottat 60 nap előzetes letartóztatásba helyezték a hatóságok. Hollandiában több tucatnyi büntetőeljárás van folyamatban az ügyészségen az Oroszország elleni szankciók kijátszása vagy megsértése miatt.

Hollandiában a rendőrség szombaton vízágyúkkal oszlatta szét az autópályán tüntető klímaaktivistákat. Az Extinction Rebellion által szervezett tüntetők az olajipar állami támogatásának megszüntetését követelték – számolt be a Reuters.
Több ezer ember vonult végig az A12-es autópályán Hágába, figyelmen kívül hagyva a hatóságok figyelmeztetését, hogy ne zárják el a holland kormány székhelyére vezető fő közlekedési útvonalat.
Egy nemrégiben Hollandiában tartott tüntetésen a rendfenntartó erők kénytelenek voltak vízágyúkat használni, hogy szétoszlassák a főútvonalon összegyűlt klímaaktivistákat. A szombaton tartott tüntetés célja az volt, hogy a kormányt az olajipar pénzügyi támogatásának megszüntetésére szólítsák fel.
A tüntetésen több ezren vonultak végig az A12-es autópályán Hága felé. Mindez annak ellenére történt, hogy a hatóságok figyelmeztettek, hogy ne akadályozzák ezt a holland kormány székhelyére vezető fontos közlekedési útvonalat.
A tüntetést az Extinction Rebellion, egy globális környezetvédelmi mozgalom szervezte. A csoport megfogadta, hogy mindaddig folytatja a tüntetéseket, amíg a holland kormány le nem állítja azt a gyakorlatát, hogy közpénzekből támogatja az olaj- és gázágazatot.

A holland légtérbe tartó orosz bombázókat tartóztatott fel a dán légierő – közölte a holland királyi légierő hétfőn.
A légierő szóvivője szerint hétfő reggel riadókészültséget hirdettek, amikor két orosz repülőgép megközelítette a Benelux-államok légterét. A holland védelmi minisztérium gyorsreagálású riasztást adott ki, ami akkor lehetséges, amikor azonosítatlan repülőgép közeledik a holland légtér felé. A légvédelem két F–16-os vadászgépet küldött fel a levegőbe, a dán légierő azonban időben feltartóztatta és visszafordította a gépeket, így a bevetés szükségtelenné vált.
A szóvivő hozzátette: nem ritka hogy orosz repülőgépek megközelítik, sőt megsértik egy európai ország légterét.
Hollandia a NATO-követelmények részeként Belgiummal megosztva figyeli a Benelux-légtereket, és évente átlagosan néhány alkalommal ad ki gyorsreagálású riasztást. A holland légtér az Északi-tengeren határos Dániával.

A holland mentőszolgálatok vasárnap megkezdték a Hollandia északi partjainál napok óta lángoló teherhajó elvontatását, ami korábban az Északi-tenger felől érkező heves széllökések miatt késlekedett – közölte az ország infrastrukturális és vízgazdálkodási minisztériuma.
Korábban a tárca még arról számolt be, hogy az elkövetkező napokban folytatódik a szeles időjárás, így a Fremantle Highway nevű, panamai zászló alatt közlekedő autószállító teherhajó elvontatása csak néhány nap múlva kezdődhet el. A minisztérium szerint az erős füstképződés és a széllökések is alábbhagytak időközben, ezért lehetővé vált a munkálatok megkezdése.
A szakemberek szerint a Fremantle Highwayt a Terschelling-szigettől keletre a Schiermonnikoog-szigetig fogják elvontatni. A munkálatok 12-14 órát vesznek majd igénybe. Felhívták a figyelmet, hogy kockázatos műveletről van szó, mivel a mintegy 3800 autóval megrakott teherhajó még mindig lángokban áll, és ha kettétörik, vagy elsüllyed, az súlyos környezetszennyezéssel járna.
A minisztérium hangsúlyozta, hogy mindent elkövetnek a környezetszennyezés elkerülésére. Több hajó is kíséri a teherhajót, köztük egy olajszennyezés eltakarítására kialakított különleges vízijármű is.
A németországi Bremerhaven kikötőjéből indult teherhajó szerdára virradóra gyulladt ki. Úgy tudni, a rakomány részét képező egyik elektromos autó akkumulátora kaphatott lángra. A hajó 23 tagú indiai legénységét csak részben sikerült sértetlenül kimenteni, miután a mentés során többen megsérültek, egy ember pedig egy mentőhajón meghalt.

A holland partoknál szerda óta égő, elektromos autókat is szállító hajót sekélyebb vizekre akarják vinni, hogy zátonyra állítsák: ugyanis ha továbbra is vízzel oltják a tüzet, akkor elsüllyedne, ami jelentős ökológiai károkat okozna.
A vontatás megkezdése azonban az időjárástól függ. Mivel az erős délnyugati szél közvetlenül a vontatóhajókra fújná a füstöt, most azt várják, hogy az idő kedvezőbbre forduljon. Így viszont még napokba is telhet, mire ideiglenes horgonyzóhelyre tudják vontatni a hajót – írja a német SWR3 rádió hírportálja.
A teherhajón összesen 3783 új gépkocsit szállítottak, ebből 498 elektromos autó volt. A tűzben a legénység egyik tagja meghalt, többen megsérültek. A történtek okát még vizsgálják, de az első feltételezések szerint köze lehet az elektromos autók akkumulátoraihoz.
