Az elmúlt napok viharai megrongálták Horvátország legnagyobb naperőművét a közép-dalmáciai Zára (Zadar) közelében, az obrovaci egykori timföldgyár területén – számolt be vasárnap a horvát közszolgálati televízió (HRT).
A 14 és fél hektáron elterülő 5 megawattos erőműnek, amelyet egy éve adtak át rendeltetésének, 3500 háztartást kellene volna elektromos árammal ellátnia. Példátlan esetről van szó, és felvetődik a kérdés, hogy Velebit környéke alkalmas-e ilyen jellegű beruházásokra – közölte a HRT. Ivan Matic környezetvédelmi aktivista elmondta: a kegyetlen bóra erősebbnek bizonyult, mint a modern technológia.
„Nincs nagyobb fa az egész környéken, ha van, akkor az elhajlott. Itt évszázadok óta tombol a bóra, és mindent elpusztít, ami az útjába kerül”
– fogalmazott Matic.
A bóra az isztriai és dalmát tengerparton legtöbbször a téli évszakban fújó száraz, hideg szél, időnként rendkívül erős rohamokkal. Az osztrák-szlovén beruházás 5 millió euróba került. A vihar most több száz napelemet szakított le, elhajlította a tartószerkezetet, lebontotta a kerítést és leállította a termelést. A 30 kilogrammos paneleket könnyedén szétszórta a környező utakra, amelyek szerencsére le voltak zárva a forgalom előtt az erős széllökések miatt. Hozzávetőleges becslések szerint az erőmű csaknem fele megsemmisült – adta hírül a HRT.

Migránsokkal teli furgon szenvedett balesetet Horvátországban, ketten meghaltak
A rendőrök elől menekülő, migránsokkal teli furgon szenvedett balesetet a közép-horvátországi Novska közelében, ketten meghaltak, 25-en megsérültek – közölte a rendőrség szombaton.
A közlemény szerint a baleset éjjel negyed kettőkor történt. Az embercsempészet visszaszorításán, az illegális migráció megakadályozásán dolgozó rendőrök az A3-as autópálya Novska nevű fizetőkapujánál figyeltek fel a német rendszámú, szemmel láthatóan túlterhelt furgonra.
Amikor a sofőr észrevette a rendőröket, növelte a jármű sebességét.
A közlemény szerint a rendőrök biztonságos távolságból, hang- és fényjelzés nélkül követték a furgont, majd azt hét kilométerrel arrébb, Paklenica városában, egy árokba borulva találták meg.
A jármű nekiütközött egy betonhídnak, az oldalára borult, majd egy ház falának és egy villanyoszlopnak csapódott.
A sofőr és az egyik utas a helyszínen életét vesztette, a többi utast kórházba szállították – tájékoztatott a rendőrség.
Ivo Pedisic, a szikeszeki (Sisak) kórház szóvivője elmondta: török, szíriai, palesztin és iraki állampolgárokat kezelnek, közülük hárman súlyos, hárman pedig könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedtek. A többieket megfigyelés alatt tartják.

Idősebb férfire támadt egy medve a Plitvicei-tavaknál Horvátországban, az őt ápoló orvosok szombat este közölték, a férfi állapota stabil – közölte internetes oldalán a horvát közszolgálati televízió (HRT).
A 64 éves férfit péntek este érte a támadás, elmondása szerint sétálás közben, körülbelül 800 méterre a saját házától. A medve egy bokor mögül futott elő, és azonnal rátámadt, majd leterítette.

Hétfő este villámcsapás okozott súlyos tüzet a horvátországi Split melletti Žrnovnica térségében.
A lángok gyorsan terjednek a hegy északi oldalán, sűrű füstöt okozva, ami miatt a helyi lakók maszkot viselnek. Bár a tűz eleinte nem veszélyeztette közvetlenül a házakat, a hatóságok elővigyázatosságból evakuálták a gyermekeket a közeli épületekből – számolt be az Index.
A tűzoltók kedd este óta folyamatosan küzdenek a lángokkal, amelyek veszélyesen közel kerültek Žrnovnica egyik részéhez. Több régióból is erősítést hívtak, többek között Zadarból, Splitből, Šibenikből és Zágrábból. A tűzoltás során egy tűzoltó életét vesztette, két tűzoltó jármű pedig megrongálódott.
Az oltást a szárazföldi erők mellett kezdetben négy vízibombázó repülőgép is segítette, amelyek azonban éjszakára kivonultak a helyszínről.
A CroatiaWeek beszámolója szerint, a helyi hatóságok több utat is lezártak a tűz megfékezése érdekében, és a forgalmat az Adriai Autópályára irányították át. Bár a lángok terjedését Podstrana felé sikerült megállítani, a helyzet továbbra is összetett, különösen Donje Sitno közelében.
A legfrissebb reggeli jelentés szerint a spliti tűzoltóparancsnok közölte, hogy jelenleg már kétszáz tűzoltó harcol a lángokkal, és 50 járművet mozgósítottak a helyszínre.

A hírt elsőként hétfő reggel a Vecernje Novosti című belgrádi napilap közölte, de a délelőtt folyamán sem a belgrádi, sem a zágrábi hivatalos szervek nem erősítették meg. Ivica Dacic egy sajtótájékoztatón, újságírói kérdésre válaszolva erősítette meg a kém elfogását. Mint mondta, az akciót a BIA hajtotta végre, a rendőrség csak logisztikai segítséget nyújtott.
A Vecernje Novosti értesülése szerint a BIA több hónapos, kémelhárítási akciójának keretében fogták el a horvát titkosszolgálat (SOA) „destruktív munkát végző” munkatársát.

Splitben és környékén hatalmas károkat okoztak a hőség utáni viharok. A legnépszerűbb horvát nyaralási helyszíneken fákat csavart ki a szél, és több pince is beázott.
Erős vihar sújtotta a Horvátország egyik legnépszerűbb nyaralóövezetét, Splitet és környékét, súlyos károkat okozva. A többnapos hőség és a veszélyesen magas hőmérsékletek után az időjárás hirtelen megváltozott heves esőzés, viharos széllökések, zivatarok és villámlások kíséretében. A Split környékét sújtó vihar vasárnap éjszaka nehézségeket okozott a tűzoltóknak, akik elsősorban az utakra dőlt fákat távolították el, és az elárasztott pincékből szivattyúzták a vizet.
A Split Megyei Tűzoltó Operatív Központ közlése szerint a Spliti Tűzoltóság (JVP) munkatársai, valamint a Spliti Önkéntes Tűzoltó Egyesület (DVD) tagjai egész éjjel dolgoztak a fák eltávolításán. A város központjában már 23 óra után több helyen is fák dőltek az úttestre és a parkoló járművekre több sétányon és utcában. Az esőzés következtében több pince is víz alá került, ami szintén tűzoltói beavatkozást igényelt.
A vihar Split mellett Kastela, a makarskai régió, valamint Hvar, Brac, Vis és Solta szigeteit is sújtotta.
Rövid idő alatt jelentős mennyiségű eső zúdult Splitre, több mint 25 liter eső esett négyzetméterenkén. Bár anyagi károk keletkeztek, különösen a parkoló autókra dőlt fák miatt, szerencsére személyi sérülésről nem érkezett jelentés.
A heves jégeső a lepoglavai és ivaneci területeket, valamint Krapinsko-Zagorska megye egyes részeit is elérte, bár az illetékesek nem jelentettek súlyosabb károkat. A Horvát Meteorológiai és Hidrológiai Szolgálat narancssárga riasztást adott ki az egész országra, ami potenciális egészségügyi veszélyre figyelmeztet. Az előrejelzések szerint újabb zivatarok várhatók, amelyek tetemes károkat okozhatnak.

Három hónap nyomozás után az isztriai rendőrség három ukrán állampolgár ellen emelt vádat, akik még májusban az Isztriai-félszigeten, Medulin üdülőváros kikötőjében szándékosan okoztak tüzet, amelyben 22 hajó semmisült meg – írta a Jutarnji List című horvát napilap szombaton.
A tűzvész előtti események rekonstruálásával a bűnügyi szakértők megállapították, hogy a három ukrán állampolgár – két 25 és egy 28 éves férfi – május 14-én Lengyelországból érkezett Horvátországba. Leparkolták autójukat valahol Medulin környékén, majd gyalogosan indultak a jachtkikötőbe.
A térfigyelő kamerákon jól látszik, hogy egyikük átbújik a kerítés alatt, míg a másik kettő előtte őrködik. A fiatal férfi hajnali négy órakor az egyik jachtra egy gyúlékony anyaggal teli üveget dobott, az ott keletkezett tűz pedig átterjedt a többi hajóra, összesen 34-re, amelyek közül 22 teljesen megsemmisült. A hatóságok közlése szerint a tulajdonosoknak okozott károk értéke meghaladta a kétmillió eurót.
A rendőrség körözést adott ki a három ukrán állampolgár ellen, akik az eset után vélhetően azonnal elhagyták az országot, így jelenleg elérhetetlenek a horvát hatóságok számára.
Horvátország az egyik legnépszerűbb európai idegenforgalmi célpont és kedvelt hajózási hely. A kiégett hajók tulajdonosai között külföldiek is voltak. A rendőrség azzal a hajóval kapcsolatban, amelyre a Molotov-koktél dobták csak annyit közölt: pulai jelzést viselt és egy 65 éves ember tulajdonában állt.
