A Gázai övezetet uraló Hamász iszlamista terrorszervezet bejelentette két újabb női túsz szabadon engedését hétfő este – közölte az izraeli média.
A Hamász bejelentette, hogy Katar és Egyiptom közvetítésével „humanitárius okokból” két további elrabolt személyt bocsátott szabadon. A bejelentést Izraelben hivatalosan megerősítették.
Az izraeli hatóságok hétfőig kétszázhuszonkét családot értesítettek arról, hogy a Hamász október 7-én végrehajtott terrortámadása során a Gázai övezetbe hurcolta szeretteiket.
Szabadon engedték a nyolcvanötéves Jocheved Lifsicet, akinek férje, Oded Lifsic a Hamász fogságában maradt, és a hetvennyolc éves Nurit Kufert, akinek férjét, Amiram Kufert szintén elhurcolták, és őt sem engedték szabadon.
Mindkét asszonyt otthonukból, a Gázai övezet szomszédságában lévő Nir Óz kibucból vitték a terrortámadás napján a Gázai övezetbe. A megállás nélküli izraeli csapásokban a helyi hatóságok szerint már több mint 4600-an meghaltak, életét vesztette Gáza egyik legismertebb újságírója is.
Egy újabb, 17 segélyszállító teherautóból álló konvoj érkezett a rafahi átkelő egyiptomi oldalához, hogy bejuthasson Gázába – írja a Sky News egyiptomi sajtójelentések nyomán. A szombati 20 teherautós konvoj után ez a második, amellyel élelmiszert és üzemanyagot juttatnak a Hamász két héttel ezelőtti Izrael elleni támadása, majd a Gázai övezet lezárása és a megindított válaszcsapások kezdete óta.
A rafahi átkelőt szombaton nyitották meg a humanitárius segélyszállítmányok előtt. Húsz teherautón érkeztek gyógyszerek, gyógyászati segédeszközök és élelmiszerek. Ezek voltak az első segélyek, amelyek eljutottak a gázai lakossághoz azóta, hogy kirobbant a háború Izrael és az övezetet uraló palesztin Hamász között.
A Gázai övezetben már a legújabb harcok kezdete előtt is a lakosság nagyjából 60 százalékát látták el humanitárius segélyekkel. Az ENSZ számításai szerint jelenleg naponta 100 teherautónyi segélyre lenne szüksége a Gázai övezetben élőknek.
Martin Griffiths, az ENSZ humanitárius segélyért felelős vezetője a Sky News Sunday Morning című műsorában pesszimizmusát hangoztatta a segélyeket illetően, mondván, ezek a szállítmányok közel sem elegendők ahhoz, amire a jelenleg is Gázában élő kétmillió ember megsegítéséhez szükség van. A brit lap arról is beszámolt, hogy a palesztinok lakta terület déli részén fekvő Khan Juniszban a palesztinok hosszú sorokban várnak kenyérre, de az üzemanyag és az ivóvíz is vészesen fogy.
A folyamatos izraeli légicsapások közepette újabb újságíró haláláról érkezett hír. Roshdi Sarrajt, az Ain Media alapítóját, az egyik legismertebb gázai újságíró otthonában halt meg egy izraeli támadás során. Kedden Sarraj éppen a gázai újságíróáldozatokért emelt szót X-bejegyzésében.
Arról az MTI számolt be még szombaton, hogy a New York-i székhelyű Bizottság az Újságírók Védelmére (CPJ) elnevezésű szervezet adatai szerint a Hamász terrorszervezet által Izrael ellen indított támadás óta a harcokban 22 újságíró vesztette életét. A halálos áldozatok között van 18 palesztin, három izraeli és egy libanoni újságíró. Ezenkívül nyolc médiamunkás megsérült, további három pedig eltűnt vagy őrizetben van.
A gázai egészségügyi minisztérium tájékoztatása szerint eddig 4651 palesztin halt meg az izraeli csapásokban, és több mint 14 ezren megsebesültek. A halálos áldozatok 40 százaléka gyermek volt, a sérülteknek becslések szerint legalább 70 százaléka nő és gyermek.

Jelentős rendőri készültség mellett hatalmas tüntetés volt szombaton Londonban a palesztinok mellett. A Scotland Yard kora esti első becslése szerint a Palestine Solidarity Campaign nevű szolidaritási kampánycsoport szervezte demonstráción százezren vettek részt.
A menet a londoni kormányzati főutcához, a Whitehallhoz vonult; innen nyílik a Downing Street, amely a brit miniszterelnökök hivatalának és rezidenciájának nyújt otthont.
A Scotland Yard már előre felhívta a szombati tüntetés résztvevőinek figyelmét arra, hogy nem nézi tétlenül, ha a demonstráción gyűlölet vezérelte bűncselekmények elkövetését észleli; ilyen esetekre a londoni rendőrség beavatkozást helyezett kilátásba.
Szombat estig mindazonáltal nem érkezett jelentés rendbontásokról és őrizetbe vételekről.
Londonban és más brit nagyvárosokban egy hete is tartottak demonstrációkat a palesztinok mellett. A múlt szombati tüntetésen 15 embert őrizetbe vettek.
A mostani demonstrációt 1500 rendőr biztosította.
A Scotland Yard terrorellenes ügyosztálya a Gázai övezetet uraló Hamász iszlamista terrorszervezet Izrael ellen két hete végrehajtott támadása óta számos alkalommal felhívta a demonstrációk szervezőinek és résztvevőinek figyelmét arra, hogy a Hamász és az október 7-i terrortámadás nyilvános dicsőítése súlyos bűncselekmény.
A brit terrorizmusellenes törvény alapján 14 évig terjedő szabadságvesztéssel sújthatók, akik a brit kormány által militáns terrorszervezetnek minősített csoportokhoz csatlakoznak, e csoportokat bármilyen módon támogatják, illetve másokat ilyen csoportok támogatására biztatnak.
A brit kormány két évvel ezelőtt terrorszervezetté nyilvánította a Hamászt, amelynek nagy-britanniai tevékenységét és támogatását törvényen kívül helyezte.
A szombati londoni tüntetésen az előzetes hatósági figyelmeztetések ellenére többször is hallható volt a „From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” (A folyótól a tengerig Palesztina szabad lesz) jelmondat, amely arra utal, hogy az ezt skandálók szerint a szabad palesztin államot a Jordán folyó és a Földközi-tenger között, vagyis jórészt Izrael területén kell létrehozni.
Suella Braverman brit belügyminiszter már a múlt heti tüntetés előtt levelet intézett az angliai és a walesi rendőrkapitányságok parancsnokaihoz, annak megfontolására kérve a rendőri vezetőket, hogy a jelmondat, amely korábbi Izrael-ellenes tüntetéseken is rendszeresen elhangzott, nem tekinthető-e Izrael megsemmisítését célzó, erőszakcselekmények végrehajtására irányuló szándék kifejezésének.

„A Hezbollah úgy döntött, részt vesz a harcokban, és ennek megfizeti az árát” – figyelmeztetett Joav Gallant izraeli védelmi miniszter, amikor szombaton látogatást tett az ország északi részében állomásozó katonáknál.
Naim Kászim, a Hezbollah helyettes vezetője ismét kilátásba helyezte a helyzet eszkalálódását.

Antony Blinken amerikai külügyminiszter korábban azt mondta, hogy az Egyesült Államok minden túsz előfeltétel nélküli szabadon bocsátását követeli a Hamásztól, és Washington készen áll az együttműködésre, ha ez hozzájárul a Hamász által foglyul ejtett emberek elengedéséhez.
A Hamász azt állítja, hogy kétszáz túszt ejtett az október 7-ei támadások alatt, további ötven embert pedig más fegyveres csoportok tartanak fogva.
Állapotukról egyelőre annyit közöltek, hogy húszan egy izraeli légicsapásban életüket vesztették.

Az Izraeli Védelmi Erők (IDF) szombaton bejelentette, hogy megölte a Hamász fegyverzetfejlesztésért felelős tagját.
Mahmúd Szábih mérnökként egy olyan egységet vezetett, amely fegyvereket, köztük katonai drónokat fejlesztett a Hamász számára. Az általa vezetett egység a Közel-Keleten más terrorista csoportokkal is kapcsolatot tartott fenn – áll az IDF közleményében.
Eközben a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja arról jelentett magas rangú izraeli tisztségviselőkre hivatkozva, hogy két, korábban túszul ejtett amerikai állampolgár pénteki szabadon engedése ellenére sem tett le Izrael arról a tervéről, hogy szárazföldi hadműveletet indítson a Hamász ellen.
A tisztviselők ezzel reagáltak a Times of Israel című lapnak arra az értesülésére, hogy
az Egyesült Államok és több európai kormány megpróbálja rávenni Izraelt, hogy késleltesse a Gázai övezetben tervezett szárazföldi hadművelet elindítását, abban bízva, hogy a további tárgyalások újabb túszok szabadon bocsátását eredményezhetik.
A Times of Israel szerint olyan európai országokról van szó, amelyek állampolgárait a Gázai övezetben tartják túszként. Ezek a kormányok nagyon valószínűnek tartják egy szárazföldi hadművelet elindítását, de megpróbálják elérni annak elhalasztását, hogy kiderüljön, sikerül-e diplomáciai erőfeszítésekkel elérni a túszok szabadon bocsátását – írta a lap.

Mintegy kétszáz ország állampolgárai vesztették életüket a gázai fegyveres konfliktusban a Hamász palesztin iszlamista szervezet október 7-i támadása óta – írta csütörtöki összefoglalójában az AFP hírügynökség.
Adataik szerint a Gázai övezetet irányító Hamász Izrael elleni támadásában több mint 1400 izraeli állampolgár halt meg, további 203 főt pedig Gázába hurcoltak el; a gázai hatóságok közlése szerint a palesztin halálos áldozatok száma mintegy 3500 fő, akik az izraeli hadsereg ellentámadásában és légicsapásaiban vesztették életüket.
A hatóság viszont nem közölte, hogy a 3500 főbe a gázai kórházat ért rakétatalálat áldozatait is beleértették-e. A hírügynökség kiemelte, hogy a további, mintegy kétszáz országot képviselő halálos áldozatok közül sokaknak izraeli állampolgársága is volt. A csütörtökön közzétett legfrissebb, hatósági adatok szerint az Egyesült Államok 32 halottról, továbbá 13 eltűnt vagy túszul ejtett amerikai állampolgárról számolt be.
Thaiföld 30 halottról és 17 túszról számolt be, mivel mintegy 30 ezer thaiföldi állampolgár dolgozik vendégmunkásként Izraelben.
Franciaország vesztesége 28 halott és 7 eltűnt vagy túszul ejtett személy; a túszok egyike a francia-izraeli kettős állampolgár Mia Shem, aki megjelent a Hamász egyik videofelvételében.
A tel-avivi orosz nagykövetség jelentése szerint 19 orosz-izraeli kettős állampolgár meghalt, további 2 főt túszul ejtettek, 7 orosz állampolgár pedig eltűnt. Ukrajna 18 állampolgárát vesztette el; Nepál 10 halottról és egy eltűnt személyről számolt be, a német hatóságok pedig kevesebb mint 10 halottról és legalább 8-11 túszul ejtett német állampolgárról számoltak be.
Az argentin halálos áldozatok száma 7, az eltűnteké pedig 15 fő. Nagy-Britannia legkevesebb 7 állampolgárát vesztette el, és további 9 állampolgára tűnt el, vagy esett a Hamász fogságába. Kanada kedden jelentette be a hatodik halálos áldozatát, további két állampolgára pedig eltűnt.
Portugália vesztesége 4 halott és 4 eltűnt személy, Kína is 4 halottról és 4 eltűntről számolt be. A Fülöp-szigetekről származó halálos áldozatok száma 4, az eltűnt személyek száma pedig 2 fő. Románia 4 halálos áldozatról és egy eltűnt személyről számolt be.
Az elhunyt osztrák-izraeli állampolgárok száma 4 fő, további egy osztrák állampolgár eltűnt.
Fehéroroszország 3 állampolgárát vesztette el, további egy személy eltűnt. A brazil állampolgárságú elhunytak száma 3 fő. Peru és a Dél-Afrikai Köztársaság halálos áldozatainak száma 2-2 fő. Az olasz hatóságok egy halottról és két eltűnt személyről számoltak be. Chile és Törökország vesztesége egy-egy halott és eltűnt személy.
Egy spanyol-izraeli kettős állampolgár meghalt, további egy spanyol állampolgárt pedig túszként tartanak fogva. Egy-egy állampolgárát veszítette el a konfliktusban Kambodzsa, Kolumbia, Ausztrália, Honduras, Azerbajdzsán, Írország és Svájc; illetve két-két állampolgárának eltűnését jelentette be Hollandia, Paraguay, Tanzánia és Srí Lanka.

Mintegy félmillió izraeli és hétszázezer gázai hagyta el otthonát a háború miatt – jelentette a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja, a ynet.
Mintegy félmillió izraeli kényszerült elhagyni otthonát az iszlamista Hamász terrorszervezet október 7-i meglepetésszerű támadása óta – közölte Jonatan Konrikosz katonai szóvivő külföldi újságírókkal. A Gázai övezet környékén huszonöt, a libanoni határnál húsz izraeli települést evakuáltak a hatóságok a civilek védelmében.
Az izraeli hadsereg a mobiltelefonok számának változásából látja, hogy mely térségeket ürítették ki a Gázai övezet egyes részein – értesült a ynet. Az izraeli hadsereg ott hajt végre légicsapásokat, ahol megfigyelőrendszere alapján kevesebb kárt okoz az ártatlanoknak – jelentette a portál a The New York Timesban megjelent írásra hivatkozva.
A mobiltelefonok száma becslést ad a hadseregnek a Gázai övezet északi részéről délre menekült emberek számáról. Hétfő délután a telefonok alapján az észak-gázai térség korábbi 1,1 millió lakójából már mintegy 700 ezren távoztak délre.
A légierő korábban már alkalmazta ezt a módszert Gázaváros leggazdagabb részén, a Rimal negyedben, melynek megtámadása előtt a rendszert irányító katonák felhívtak néhány ott élőt, és arra kérték őket, hogy hagyják el a környéket. Később értesítették a vadászrepülőket, hogy Rimal „zöld lett”, miután a lakosság kevesebb mint negyede maradt ott.
A hadsereg azért szólította fel a gázaiakat a délre távozásra, mert a Hamász alagútrendszert épített ki az épületek alatt.
A Hamász maradásra szólította fel a civileket, és Izraelt azzal vádolták, hogy megpróbálja megakadályozni a palesztinok elmenekülését. Izrael szórólapokat dobott le Gázavárosban menekülésre buzdítva őket, és a támadások előtt a vezérlőteremből katonák telefonálnak a célterület közösségi vezetőinek, kórház- és iskolaigazgatóinak, és amikor telefonjaik alapján „zöld” a terület, értesítik a pilótákat.
