Izrael légi csapásokat mért a Gázai övezetben a Hamász katonai létesítményeire válaszul arra, hogy a radikális palesztin szervezethez köthető szélsőségesek gyújtószerkezetekkel felszerelt léggömböket indítottak a zsidó állam területére – közölte az izraeli hadsereg.
Az izraeli bombázás célpontjai egy rakétakilövő állás és egy fegyvergyártó létesítmény voltak. Egészségügyi források szerint egy ember súlyosan megsebesült a légitámadásban.
A gázai övezetben található bázis mellett több polgári létesítmény található, többek között egyiskola is.
Az izraeli fegyveres erők emellett beszámoltak arról is, hogy Ciszjordániában egy feltételezett palesztin merénylővel végeztek. A nap folyamán összetűzés alakult ki zsidó telepesek és a helyi palesztin lakosok között. A katonák igyekeztek közbe avatkozni, amikor is egy háztetőről egy férfi robbanószerkezetet dobott feléjük, mire válaszul tüzet nyitottak a veszély semlegesítésére. A palesztin hatóságok szerint egy 20 éves férfi vesztett életét az incidensben.
Izrael és a gázai szélsőséges iszlamista szervezetek között május elején rakétaháború robbant ki, miután Jeruzsálemben összecsaptak egymással palesztin tüntetők és az izraeli biztonsági erők az iszlám vallás harmadik legszentebb helyén, az al-Aksza mecsetnél.
A 11 napos vérontásban a Gázai övezet 255 lakója és 13 izraeli vesztette életét. A rakétaháborúnak május 21-ére virradóra megkötött tűzszünet vetett véget, ennek ellenére szélsőségesek többször is indítottak gyújtószerkezetekkel felszerelt léggömböket Izrael területe ellen, amire a zsidó állam légicsapásokkal felelt.

Izraeli katonai repülőgépek légicsapások tucatjait mérték hétfőre virradóra különböző célpontokra a Gázai övezetben, miközben a területet uraló Hamász szélsőséges iszlamista szervezet is folytatta a rakéták kilövését.
Szemtanúk arról számoltak be a Reuters hírügynökségnek, hogy az izraeli hadsereg utakat, valamint a fegyveresek által használt épületeket, lakóházakat bombázott, elsősorban Gázavárosban. Helyi médiajelentések szerint találat érte az áramhálózatot is, így veszélybe kerülhet a város déli részeinek ellátása.
A tengerpari enklávé több részében a beszámolók szerint robbanások hallatszottak éjszaka mintegy tíz percen keresztül.
Izraeli tájékoztatás szerint terrorista célpontokat támadtak, miután nem sokkal éjfél után rakétákat lőttek ki Gázából Askelón és Beér-Seva városra.
Egyelőre egyik oldalról sem jelentettek újabb áldozatokat.
A mostani légicsapások keményebbek, szélesebb körűek voltak, és tovább tartottak, mint az előző éjszakaiak, amelyekben 42 palesztin vesztette életét – írta a Reuters.

A Gázai övezetet uraló iszlamista Hamász terrorszervezet hat parancsnokát ölte meg célzott légicsapásokkal az izraeli hadsereg – jelentette a helyi média szerdán a palesztinok és Izrael között újból fellángolt harcokkal kapcsolatban.
A megölt Hamász parancsnokok egyike Gáza város katonai vezetője, a Hamász katonai szárnyának, a Ezzeddín al-Kasszám Brigádoknak egyik vezető tisztje. Szintén életét vesztette egy célzott támadásban a kiberkommandóért és a rakéták pontosságának fejlesztéséért felelős tiszt, a lőszergyártási részleg kutatási vezetője, és a lőszerosztály főmérnöke. Mellettük meghalt a műszaki hírszerzési osztály vezetője és a fegyvergyártási osztály felelőse is. A 12-es kereskedelmi TV katonai szakértője szerint 500 olyan lakásra lőtt rakétát az izraeli légierő, melyekben a Hamász különböző szintű vezetői laktak.
Eközben a Hamász is újabb rakétatámadás-hullámokat indított, elsősorban Dél-Izrael felé. Működésbe léptek a légvédelmi szirénák Beér-Seván, a Negev fővárosában, és Dimónában, ahol Izrael fő atomreaktora található. A Hamász katonai szárnya felelősséget vállalt a lövedékekért, s közölte, hogy 15 rakétát lőtt Dimóna felé. A Hamász újabb rakétaesőt ígért izraeli idő szerint este 6-ra, s korábbi hasonló ígéreteit rendre betartotta.
Hétfő este rakétaháború kezdődött Izrael és gázai szélsőséges iszlamista szervezetek között, miután Jeruzsálemben összecsapások zajlottak palesztinok és az izraeli biztonságiak között az iszlám vallás Mekka és Medina után harmadik legszentebb helyén, az al-Aksza mecsetnél.

A Gázai övezetet uraló iszlamista Hamász terrorszervezet valóságos rakétaesőt zúdított több hullámban Tel-Avivra és Izrael központi részére kedd este.
A vaskupola légvédelmi rendszer ellenrakétái befogták a rakéták túlnyomó többségét, számos robbanást lehetett hallani a térségben, de a Tel-Avivtól délre található Holonban füstöt észleltek valószínűleg egy lövedék becsapódása nyomán – jelentette a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja, a ynet. A 12-es kereskedelmi TV portálja szerint súlyos sebesülés is történt Holonban, ahol kigyulladt egy autóbusz, és egy halálos áldozatról is érkezett hír.
A Hamász bejelentette, hogy 130 rakétát indítottak Tel-Aviv felé, a The Times of Israel című angol nyelvű hírportál szerint hat ember sérült meg, köztük egy ötéves kislány. Ideiglenesen leállították a tel-avivi Ben Gurion repülőtér forgalmát, egy oda tartó járat visszafordult a ciprusi reptérre. Az ország középső részén is az óvóhelyek közelében kell tartózkodni a lakosoknak.
Kedd este hírügynökségi jelentések szerint a Gázai övezetben összedőlt egy 13 emeletes lakóépület egy izraeli légi csapás következtében, hárman megsebesültek. A toronyházban működött a Hamász politikai vezetésének egy irodája is. Röviddel a légi csapás után a Hamász és az Iszlám Dzsihád közölte: válaszul Tel-Aviv irányába fognak rakétákat kilőni.

Légicsapásokig fajult a jeruzsálemi vita. A radikális palesztin Hamász szervezet rakétákat lőtt ki Izraelre, az izraeliek Gázában vágtak vissza és halottak is vannak.
Katonai konfrontációvá szélesedett a jeruzsálemi erőszak, amely eredetileg palesztin családok kilakoltatása és az izraeli telepek fejlesztése miatt robbant ki. A Gázát uraló szélsőséges Hamász rakétákat lőtt ki Izraelre (utóbbi hadserege szerint hétfőn több mint 150 darabot lőttek ki szélsőséges csoportok), amire Izrael légicsapásokkal válaszolt. A Hamász-kormányzat egészségügyi minisztériumának állítása szerint 20 ember életét vesztette. Az izraeliek közben azt mondták, hogy a Hamász pozícióit támadták.
A drámai fejlemények előzménye, hogy egy jeruzsálemi bíróság vasárnap is megerősítette azt a végzést, amely elrendelte hat, már nemzedékek óta a kelet-jeruzsálemi Sejk Dzsarra negyedben élő palesztin család távozását. Viszont az erőszakos tiltakozások miatt elhalasztották az Izraeli Legfelsőbb Bíróság erre vonatkozó, hétfőre tervezett döntését.
További hét családnak augusztusban kell távoznia a vitatott hovatartozású keleti városrészből. Zsidó telepes családok már 1972 óta pereskednek a palesztinokkal, mert szerintük beköltöztek a telkeikre. Az ügy körül komplex – egészen az ottomán időkbe visszanyúló – jogvita bontakozott ki, miközben a kelet-jeruzsálemi és menekültként érkezett palesztin családok Jordánia oltalma alatt telepedtek le és nem ismerik el a városrészben Izrael és így az izraeli bíróságok fennhatóságát sem.
A palesztin családok kilakoltatásával párhuzamosan Izrael otthonokat épít a zsidó telepeseknek és megpróbálja fenntartani a város lakosságán belül a 70-30 százalékos zsidó-arab arányt. Benjamin Netanjahu izraeli miniszterelnök „határozottan visszautasította” azt a külföldi nyomást, hogy ne építkezzenek Jeruzsálemben.
Előzőleg nacionalista zsidó szervezetek tervezték a szokásos felvonulást, amelyben a városrészen átvonulva, Kelet-Jeruzsálem 1967-es elfoglalásáról emlékeztek volna meg, de ezt végül lefújták, mert az izraeli hatóságok is provokatívnak tartották. A rendőrök szerint az Al-Aksza mecset területén összegyűlt palesztinok kövekkel és Molotov-koktélokkal fegyverkeztek fel a hétfői Jeruzsálem Napi Zászlós Menetre készülve, majd meg is dobálták a rendőröket és ezért vetették be ellenük a karhatalmat.

Közben napvilágra került egy videó, amelyen palesztinok dobálnak kövekkel és próbálnak kocsijából kirángatni egy izraeli autóst. Az illető nekihajtott egyik támadójának és valószínűleg csak a rendőrök közbelépése mentette meg.
A Hamász közben „ultimátumot” intézett Izraelhez, hogy vonja ki a mecsetből és a vitatott kerületből a karhatalmi erőket, majd az Iszlám Dzsihád csoporttal együtt több mint 40 rakétát lőtt ki Jeruzsálem környékére és a Gázához közeli Askelon városra.
Az Izraeli Védelmi Erők azt mondták, hogy a Vaskupola rakétavédelmi rendszer megsemmisítette a rakéták egy részét, a többi nyílt terepen csapódott be, majd perceken belül ellencsapást mértek „palesztin terrorista célpontokra”. A gázai palesztinok állítása szerint azonban a 20, este említett halott között gyerekek is voltak.
Este az izraeli védelmi minisztériumban vészhelyzeti ülést tartottak, amelyen részt vett Benjámin Netanjahu kormányfő és a katonai vezetés is.
