В Колумбії в авіакатастрофі малого літака загинули п’ятеро політиків і пілот, – повідомила місцева влада.
Літак Cessna злетів у місті Вільявісенсіо в центральній частині країни рано-вранці. Управління цивільної авіації повідомило, що зв’язок із невеликим літаком було втрачено через 18 хвилин після зльоту.
Літак прямував до Гуаймарала, розташованого приблизно за 20 кілометрів на північ від столиці, Боготи. Аварія сталася поблизу Сан-Луїс-де-Гасено, приблизно за 180 кілометрів на схід від Боготи. Причини наразі невідомі.
Консервативна партія «Демократичний центр» колишнього президента Колумбії Альваро Урібе висловила співчуття у зв’язку з трагедією у Twitter. Відомо, що серед загиблих – один із кандидатів у губернатори від партії, член парламенту та колишній сенатор.

Сильний дощ спричинив зсув ґрунту на південному сході Колумбії, унаслідок чого загинуло щонайменше 8 осіб, повідомила у вівторок місцева влада.
Зсув стався за 60 кілометрів від Боготи, біля платної станції на дорозі, яка з’єднує столицю з південним сходом країни.

У Колумбії сталася авіакатастрофа за участю гелікоптера збройних сил цієї країни. Усі чотири члени екіпажу, які перебували на борту, загинули на місці трагедії.
Про це повідомила пресслужба колумбійських збройних сил.
У Колумбії розбився військовий гелікоптер. Інцидент стався в місті Куїбдо, що є столицею департаменту Чоко. За попередніми даними, гвинтокрил у своєму останньому польоті виконував транспортну місію.
Внаслідок авіакатастрофи загинули усі, хто перебував на борту. Відомо, що екіпаж гелікоптера становив чотири особи.
З’явилося перше відео з місця падіння гвинтокрила.
Пресслужба збройних сил Колумбії оприлюднили дані загиблих, висловивши їхнім рідним і близьким співчуття.

Вибух стався у вівторок увечері за місцевим часом у Сутатаусі, що знаходиться приблизно за 75 км на північ від Боготи.
«Люди опинилися в пастці на глибині 700–900 м», – повідомив журналістам Нікола Гарсія, губернатор провінції Кундінамарка. Він додав, що в пошуках беруть участь більше сотні рятувальників.
Двох людей вдалося врятувати, семеро вийшли на поверхню без сторонньої допомоги.
Президент Густаво Петро у Twitter пообіцяв, що разом із керівництвом провінції Кундінамарка зробить усе, аби звільнити тих, хто залишився під землею, а також висловив співчуття загиблим та їхнім родичам.
За даними національного гірничого управління, вугільні шахти мали дозвіл на роботу.
Серйозні аварії часто трапляються на вугільних та золотих шахтах Колумбії, які здебільшого не мають ліцензій і працюють без відповідних заходів безпеки.

Правоохоронним органам вдалося вилучити 2,5 тонни кокаїну вартістю понад 87 мільйонів доларів.
Військово-морські сили Колумбії захопили саморобний підводний човен, на борту якого перебували два трупи і понад 2,5 тонни наркотиків. Про це 13 березня повідомило видання Semana.
Зазначається, що субмарину напівзанурювального типу виявили в ході проведення операцій з контролю та забезпечення безпеки тихоокеанської морської зони. Вона перевозила 2643 кг гідрохлориду кокаїну і прямувала до Центральної Америки.
Військові помітили двох людей, які перебували зовні підводного човна у стані крайньої слабкості, і після арешту надали їм першу допомогу.
За попередніми даними, вони отруїлися отруйними газами, що утворилися через витік палива, яке було на судні. Крім того, усередині субмарини знайшли два трупи.
„Усі затримані особи, а також наркотики та тіла загиблих були доставлені до селища Тумако в департаменті Наріньо, де були передані відповідним органам… Завдяки діям правоохоронних органів вдалося запобігти надходженню до скарбниці організацій наркоторговців понад 87 мільйонів доларів”, – наголосив представник ВМС.

Під час бойових дій в Україні загинули два добровольці з Колумбії, які воювали в ЗСУ, поінформували в МЗС латиноамериканської країни.
Двоє громадян Колумбії перебували в Україні з грудня і служили в 49-му піхотному батальйоні Збройних сил, ідеться в повідомленні відомства. За інформацією батальйону, обидва загинули в бою 18 січня.

На північному заході Колумбії в неділю зсув засипав міжміський автобус, загинуло щонайменше 12 людей, повідомила місцева влада.
Фото: STRINGER / AFP Зсув, викликаний сильними дощами, стався між містами Пуебло-Рико та Санта-Чечілія в провінції Рісаральда, приблизно за 230 км від столиці, Боготи.
Віктор Мануель Тамайо, губернатор Рісаральди, заявив, що внаслідок стихійного лиха загинули 12 осіб. П’ятьох людей удалося врятувати, рятувальні служби продовжують шукати тих, хто вижив.
Президент Колумбії Густаво Петро раніше повідомив у Twitter, що 9 осіб урятували, ще 20 вважаються зниклими безвісти, пише BBC.
Одна з пасажирок, які вижили, Андрес Ібаргуен, розповіла службі новин телеканалу Caracol, що її батько, Гільєрмо Ібаргуен, допоміг їй вибратися з автобуса через невелику щілину. Чоловік урятував дружину та доньку, але сам загинув.
Щонайменше 25 людей їхали рейсом з третього за величиною міста Колумбії, Калі, до Кондото в провінції Чоко, повідомила місцева влада.
Нинішній сезон дощів у країні надзвичайно вологий, це пояснюється атмосферним явищем Ла-Нінья.
Згідно з даними, опублікованими урядом, у 2022 році проливні дощі забрали понад 216 життів і «перемістили» 538 000 осіб. Ще 48 людей зникли безвісти.
