Az orosz katonák tönkretették és kifosztották a Harkiv megyében található kórházak 95 százalékát.
Makszim Hausztov, a Harkiv Megyei Egészségügyi Főosztály vezetője egy helyi ukrán rádiónak azt nyilatkozta, hogy az orosz megszállók kifosztották a kórházakat és a klinikákat. Azokat az eszközöket, amelyekre nem volt szükségük, szétverték, megrongálták.
Hausztov tájékoztatása szerint folyamatban van az egészségügyi ellátórendszer újraindítása. A felszabadult területeken már elkezdték a megrongálódott egészségügyi intézmények helyreállítását. Ahol ez nem lehetséges, ott új épületbe költöztetik a szükséges egészségügyi eszközöket, felszereléseket.
Az oroszok Harkiv megye 32 százalékát tartották megszállás alatt, jelenleg azonban már csak a terület hat százalékát tartják ellenőrzésük alatt.

Két nővért és egy orvost is megkéseltek június 3-án egy Los Angeles-i kórházban, a gyanúsítottat őrizetbe vették, miután több órán át elbarikádozta magát – közölte a Fox News.
Az amerikai hírcsartorna tudósítása szerint a Los Angeles-i rendőrségen (LAPD) pénteken délután jelentették, hogy az Encio Kórházi Orvosi Központ személyzetének három alkalmazottját megtámadták. Amíg az LAPD munkatársai kiürítették az épületet, a sérülteket egy másik orvosi központba vitték. Mindegyikük életveszélyes állapotba került. „A Dignity Health Northridge Kórház Egészségügyi Központja három, az Encino Hospital Medical Centerben történt incidens során szúrt sérüléseket szenvedett beteget fogadott a II. szintű traumaközpontunkba. Most mindhárom beteg állapota stabil” – áll a közleményükben.
A támadó nem jutott ki a kórházból. A késelés után elbarikádozta magát egy helyiségben, ahol egészen este fél nyolcig ott volt, de aztán elfogták és őrizetbe vették a Los Angeles-i rendőrök. Az egyelőre nem világos, mi motiválta a támadót.
A késelés egyébként azután történt, hogy egy fegyveres megtámadta az tulsai kórház épületét, Oklahoma államban. Ott öten haltak meg. A késelő mellett az a sebész is, akit a műtét utáni folyamatos fájdalmaiért okolt a fegyveres támadó.

Öt halálos áldozata van egy lövöldözésnek, amely amerikai idő szerint szerda délután az Oklahoma államban található Tulsa városában zajlott le egy kórházi épületben, az ámokfutó is meghalt – jelentette a helyi rendőrség.
Wendell Franklin, a tulsai rendőrkapitány a Twitteren azt írta, hogy kollégáit a helyi St. Francis Kórház közelében lévő egyik egészségügyi épületbe hívták, ahol a bejelentés szerint egy felfegyverzett férfi tartózkodott. A tulsai rendőrség szóvivője közleményében úgy fogalmazott, hogy „aktív lövöldözőről” volt szó. A sebesültek pontos számát egyelőre nem közölték.
A rendőrség valamivel este 6 óra előtt egy Facebook-bejegyzésben azt írta, hogy a tisztek átkutatják az épület minden helyiségét, és ellenőrzik, hogy megszűnt-e minden fenyegetés. Richard Meulenberg, a helyi rendőrség századosa megerősítette, hogy a gyilkos is meghalt. Elmondása szerint az egészségügyi komplexum egy „katasztrófa helyszíne volt”, és mire a rendőrök a helyszínre értek, az áldozatok közül „többen már halottak voltak.”
A St. Francis Kórházat lezárták a kialakult helyzet miatt. A televíziótársaságok felvételein azt lehetett látni, hogy a mentők hordágyakon tolják ki az embereket az épületből. Az egészségügyi komplexum területén több tucat rendőrautó tartózkodott, a hatóságok leállították a környék forgalmát a vizsgálat idejére.
A szerda esti sajtótájékoztatóján Eric Dalgleish rendőrfőkapitány-helyettes azt mondta, hogy a rendőrök még lövéseket hallottak az épületben, amikor megérkeztek. Úgy tűnik, hogy az ámokfutó saját kezével vetett véget az életének, kézifegyver és puska is volt nála – tette hozzá. Dalgleish arról is beszélt, hogy jelenlegi ismereteik szerint az áldozatok között egészségügyi alkalmazottak és betegek is vannak.
Alig több mint két hét alatt ez a harmadik, több áldozatot követelő lövöldözés az Egyesült Államokban. Nyolc nappal ezelőtt egy 18 éves, automata puskával felfegyverzett férfi 19 gyereket és két tanárt gyilkolt meg a Texas állambeli Uvalde egyik általános iskolájában. Május közepén pedig a New York állambeli Buffalo városában nyitott tüzet egy fegyveres egy szupermarketben és megölt 10 embert.
Szombaton tömegmészárlást akadályozott meg egy charlestoni nő, amikor engedéllyel tartott fegyverével agyonlőtt egy ámokfutót, aki egy 30-40 fős társaságra támadt.
