Szerinte a hatóságok a mecset egyik, azóta felfüggesztett imámját vették célba „bizonyos megjegyzései” miatt, ő azonban „önkéntes alapon prédikált.” Az egyesület szerinte „mindig is harcolt a terrorizmus ellen, mindig is az együttélést támogatta”.
A belügyminisztérium azonban cáfolja ezt, mondván, az alkalmi szónokként bemutatott, valójában rendszeres imámként tevékenykedő férfi – aki nemrég tért meg az iszlámhoz – olyan megjegyzéseket tett, amelyek „dicsőítik a (fegyveres – a szerk.) dzsihádot és a harcosait, akiket hősöknek nevezett”. Az imám a nem-muszlimokat „ellenségeknek” nevezte.
Szakítani akart
A francia belügy azt is nehezményezte, hogy az imám „az iszlám szigorú gyakorlatát” védte, és annak a köztársaság törvényeivel szembeni felsőbbrendűségét hangsúlyozta. Sőt, a hatóságok szerint arra is felszólította a hívőket, hogy szakítsanak a köztársasággal.
A francia kormány egy év elején életbe lépett törvénymódosítás után jelentette be, hogy fokozza a szélsőséges iszlám propaganda terjesztésével gyanúsított imahelyek és egyesületek ellenőrzését.
A szigorítás mellett Samuel Paty tanár tavaly októberében történt meggyilkolása után döntöttek. Őt azért ölték meg, mert egy állampolgári ismeretek órán bemutatta a Charlie Hebdo szatirikus magazin által közzétett, vitatott Mohamed próféta-karikatúrákat.
Figyelik a mecseteket
A belügyminisztérium ebben a hónapban közölte, hogy Franciaország több mint 2600 mecsetéből mintegy száz ellen indult vizsgálat, mert felmerült a gyanú, hogy „szeparatista” ideológiát terjesztenek. Hat helyszínt vizsgálnak azzal a céllal, hogy a szélsőségesség és az iszlám szeparatizmus elleni idei francia törvény alapján bezárják őket – közölték.
A kampánnyal összhangban több szélsőséges egyesületet is feloszlattak, köztük az „afrikaiak jogainak védelmét szolgáló forradalmi mozgalmat” (Ligue de Defense Noire Africaine), és két másikat, amelyeket a dzsihád legitimálásával vádoltak. Gyűlöletkeltés miatt lekapcsolták az Alvarium nevű szélsőjobboldali csoportot is.
Két héttel Samuel Paty meggyilkolása előtt Emanuel Macron elnököt heves támadások érték azon tavaly októberi beszéde miatt, amelyben a szélsőséges iszlám visszaszorítását és a világi köztársaság értékrendjének erősítését, törvényeinek elsőbbségét hangsúlyozta. „Amit támadnunk kell, az az iszlamista szeparatizmus” – hangsúlyozta Macron.

Robbanás történt egy mecsetben a kelet-afganisztáni Nangarhar tartomány Szpin Gar körzetében – adta hírül az MTI. Helyi források szerint megsebesült legalább 12 ember, köztük a mecset imámja is.
Egy névtelenséget kérő tálib tisztviselő megerősítette a robbanást. Azt mondta: attól tartanak, hogy vannak halálos áldozatok is, de további részletekkel nem szolgált. Az áldozatokról szóló beszámolók eltérők. Egy helyi lakos 12, egy másik 15 sebesültről számolt be.
A támadást egyelőre egyetlen szervezet sem vállalta. Az elmúlt hetekben Afganisztánban több mecsetet ért hasonló támadás. A terrorcselekmény aláássa a hatalomba visszakerülő tálibok állítását, amely szerint a több évtizedes háború után helyreállították a biztonságot – tette hozzá a Reuters hírügynökség.
A mecsetbe, ahol történt a mai robbanás, szunnita muzulmánok jártak. A tálib hatalomátvétel óta elkövetett korábbi támadások síita mecseteket értek, és az Iszlám Állam – Horaszán nevű szunnita terrorszervezet követte el őket, amely a síita muszlimokat eretneknek tekinti.

A francia belügyminisztérium elrendelte szerdán egy radikális iszlámot hirdető mecset bezárását a nyugat-franciaországi Le Mans városához közeli, 11 ezer lakosú Allonnes településen, ahol „legitimálták”, elfogadottként kezelték a fegyveres dzsihádot.
A rendőrségi közlemény szerint a vallási helyet két iszlám egyesület működtette, s mintegy háromszázan látogatták rendszeresen.
„A bizonyítékok szerint a radikális iszlamista mozgalomhoz tartozó vagy ahhoz közel álló emberek által látogatott vallási helyen a tevékenység és a beszédek legitimálták a fegyveres dzsihádot, a mártírhalált, a terrorcselekmények elkövetését, az erőszak, a gyűlölet és a diszkrimináció alkalmazását, valamint a saría bevezetését” – olvasható a nyugat-franciaországi Sarthes megye közleményben.
Az allonnes-i mecsetben egy Korán-iskola is működik, ahol mintegy 110 gyerek tanul. A prefektúra szerint a fegyveres dzsihádról pozitív tartalommal beszéltek a gyereknek, s ez alapján a mecset indoktrinációs, „befolyásolt tanítást” folytató helynek minősül.
Nyomozati források szerint a mecsetet hetek óta megfigyelték a titkosszolgálatok.
Gérald Darmanin belügyminiszter szeptemberben a Le Figaro című napilapnak adott interjúban jelentette be, hogy hat olyan mecset ellen indult eljárás, amely a gyanú szerint a radikális iszlámot propagálja, s így a közeljövőben további imahelyek hatósági bezáratása várható. A belügyminiszter elmondta, hogy amióta a kormány két évvel ezelőtt meghirdetette az iszlamista szeparatizmus elleni programját, 89 vallási hely került megfigyelés alá radikalizmus gyanúja miatta, s egyharmadukat be is zárták. A tárcavezető hozzátette, hogy Emmanuel Macron államfővé választása óta a rendőrség mintegy 24 ezer ellenőrzést tartott, és szélsőségesek által látogatott 650 helyet vagy szervezetet számolt fel.

Ötven sérültet Kelet-Jeruzsálem kórházaiba szállítottak, másokat a mecseteknél létrehozott ideiglenes ellátóhelyeken ápolnak.
Mamun Abbaszi, a Vörös Félhold szóvivője szerint az izraeli rendőrséggel folytatott összecsapásokban számos palesztin súlyosan megsebesült, és a rendőrség megakadályozza az egészségügyi személyzet bejutását a Templom-hegyre (arab nevén: Haram al-Sarif terasz).
A Vörös Félhold később azt jelentette, hogy az összetűzések 175, túlnyomó többségben csak könnyebb sérültjét kezelték, de egy kritikus állapotban lévő, és 13 enyhe-közepes sebesültet is.
Az izraeli katonai rádió jelentése szerint az összecsapások a Templom-hegyről fokozatosan átterjedtek az óváros területére, s a rendőrök lezárták az óváros kapuit, mert a hírek nyomán számos újabb palesztin próbált bejutni.
Kelet-Jeruzsálemben, az óváros Oroszlános kapujánál palesztin fiatalok kövekkel dobáltak egy zsidó vezette autót, s ezért a sofőr elvesztette uralmát a jármű fölött, és a járdán haladó emberek közé hajtott. Az autót és két utasát ezután is tovább kövezték és ütötték egy interneten terjedő videófelvétel szerint, majd egy rendőr segítségükre sietett, fegyverével lövéseket adott le a levegőbe, és kimentette őket.
„A palesztin vezetés minden lehetőséget megvizsgál, hogy reagáljon erre a szörnyű, a szent helyek és az állampolgárok elleni agresszióra” – közölte Twitter-fiókjában Husszein al-Sejk, a Palesztin Hatóság vezető tisztviselője, Mahmúd Abbász palesztin elnök egyik legközelebbi tanácsadója.

Párizs külvárosában, az Essonne tartományi Brétigny-sur-Orge városában ismeretlenek autóval hajtottak be egy mecsetbe, megrongálva a kapukat és a bejárati ajtót, majd betörtek az egyházi épületbe és meggyalázták az imaházat. Az incidens december 2-án történt.
A jelentés szerint december 2-án ismeretlen emberek egy autóval kiverték a mecset ajtaját, majd bementek az épületbe. A polgármester szerint a támadók tűzoltó készüléket használtak a mecset belsejében. Lopásnak nincs nyoma. Később a kiégett autót egy közeli városban találták meg.
A helyi sajtó, a város muszlim szövetségének képviselőjére hivatkozva arról számolt be, hogy a rongálásnak két gyanúsítottja van.
A mecset a Covid-19 miatt bevezetett korlátozások okán be van zárva. Senki sem sérült meg.

Egy ukrán neonáci szervezet két tagja mecsetet akart felgyújtani Odesszában a krími tatár zászló és az ukrán alkotmány napja előtt, az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) munkatársai péntekre virradóra vették őket őrizetbe a gyújtogatási kísérlet közben – adta hírül honlapján az SZBU.
A közlemény szerint az SZBU kommandósai csütörtökről péntekre virradóra csaptak le a két neonácira Odessza központjában, amikor két Molov-koktéllal megpróbálták felgyújtani a muzulmán vallási létesítményt. A szolgálat jelezte, hogy a támadásban részt vett egyik neonáci hosszú oroszországi tartózkodást követően tért haza Ukrajnába. Az elkövetők testi motozása és az otthonaikban történt házkutatás során olyan tárgyi bizonyítékok – gyújtóeszközök, mobilterminálok, jegyzetek – kerültek elő, amelyek a terrorcselekmény tervezéséről tanúskodnak.
A tettesek ellen az ukrajnai társadalmi-politikai helyzet destabilizálására és az ukrán alkotmányos rend megdöntésére irányuló terrorcselekmény előkészítése címén indítottak eljárást. Az SZBU nyomozati osztálya szerint megalapozott a gyanúja annak, hogy a neonácik cselekményének koordinálásához köze van az orosz titkosszolgálatok embereinek.
