A meg nem nevezett nő decemberben adta be keresetét Sean Jay-Z Carter rappert és Sean P Diddy Combs rapper ellen a manhattani szövetségi bíróságon azt állítva, hogy az énekesek 2000-ben bántalmazták, miután Combs limuzinjának sofőrje felajánlotta neki, hogy elviszi a New York-i MTV Video Music Awards bulijára.

A sértett gyermekek lakóhelyére kiérkező nyomozók és ügyintézők kiemelt intézkedéseket hajtottak végre, amelyek során sikerült olyan bizonyítékot szerezniük, amely megerősítette a kiskorú bejelentő állításait.
A férfit letartóztatták, a bíróság 15 év börtönbüntetésre ítélte. Emellett az elítéltnek 1 millió hrivnya erkölcsi kártérítést kell fizetnie mindkét áldozatnak.

Egy 92 éves férfit letartóztattak gyilkosság és nemi erőszak vádjával, írja a Sky News. Az idős férfit egy 1967-ben, Bristolban történt bűncselekmény kapcsán tartóztatták le, amely során az akkor 75 éves Louisa Dunnet megfojtották és megerőszakolták. Az Ipswich térségéből származó férfi letartóztatását egy tavaly megkezdett igazságügyi felülvizsgálat eredményeként hajtották végre.
Az áldozatot az otthonában ölték meg, a holttestére az egyik szomszéd talált rá. Az eset az Avon és Somerseti rendőrség legrégebbi megoldatlan bűnügyének számított.

Nemi erőszak gyanújával hétfő este letartóztatták a norvég koronahercegnő, Mette-Marit 27 éves fiát, Marius Borg Hoibyt, akit még augusztusban vettek őrizetbe egy oslói nő lakásán történt incidens után. Marius Borg Hoiby Mette-Maritnak a Haakon trónörökössel kötött 2001-es házassága előtti kapcsolatából született.
A rendőrség közleménye szerint a férfit azzal vádolják, hogy olyan személlyel közösült, aki eszméletlen vagy más okból nem képes ellenállni az aktusnak. A rendőrség közölte azt is, hogy közösülés nélküli szexuális aktusról van szó.
Borg Hoibyt augusztus 4-én vették őrizetbe egy oslói lakásban történt éjszakai incidens után, és azzal vádolták, hogy testi sértést okozott az ott lakó nőnek, akivel kapcsolatban állt. Norvég médiajelentések szerint a rendőrség egy kést talált a nő hálószobájának egyik falába szúrva. A férfit szeptemberben ismét letartóztatták, mert állítólag megszegte a távoltartási végzést.
A rendőrség szerint, amikor hétfőn letartóztatták, Borg Hoiby az augusztusi incidens feltételezett áldozatával ült egy autóban. Arról még nem született döntés, hogy a férfit előzetes letartóztatásba helyezik-e.

Harkiv megyében egy 17 éves fiatal megerőszakolt és felgyújtott egy 15 éves lányt, aki 10 nappal később életét vesztette a kórházban. A tettest őrizetbe vették.
Az eset október 20-án történt, az elkövető ittas állapotban követte el a szörnyű bűntettet. A lány megpróbált elmenekülni, azonban bántalmazója utolérte, s egy tégladarabbal fejen ütötte. Az áldozat eszméletét vesztette – ekkor erőszakolta meg, majd gyújtotta fel.
A lány édesanyja és szomszédja felfigyeltek a füstre, értesítették a mentőszolgálatot, azonban az orvosok nem tudták megmenteni az áldozat életét – 10 nap múlva elhunyt.
Az ügyben folyik a büntetőeljárás.

Egy harkivi férfi egy este alatt két nőt is megpróbált megerőszakolni. Az áldozatoknak szerencsére sikerült megszökniük.
A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint az első bejelentés egy 24 éves helyi lakostól érkezett, aki elmondta, hogy a támadás a háza közelében történt. A nő elmondása szerint egy ismeretlen férfi odament hozzá, kezeivel befogta a száját, fojtogatni kezdte és a földre lökve próbálta megerőszakolni. Az áldozatnak sikerült elmenekülni.
A bűnügyi osztály rendőrei a járőrökkel együtt azonnal megkezdték a körzet területének vizsgálását. A rendőrök megtalálták a támadás másik, 35 éves áldozatát, aki sokkos állapotban volt. Egy járókelőnek köszönhetően sikerült megszöknie.
Az elkövető egy 35 éves helyi férfi, akit már korábban is elítéltek hasonló bűncselekményért. Őrizetbe vették, öt év börtönbüntetésre számíthat.
