Тайфун «Коїну» обрушився на південний схід Тайваню напередодні із сильним дощем і значними поривами вітру. Внаслідок шторму постраждало 190 осіб, але обійшлося без жертв. Водночас мільйони людей не змогли піти на роботу чи в школу через негоду, повідомила місцева влада.
Влада Тайваню на час шторму оголосила про призупинення роботи та закриття шкіл у кількох містах. Тайфун спричинив пориви вітру до 250 кілометрів на годину. Столиця Тайпей не постраждала від негоди.
Пожежна служба Тайваню повідомила про 190 постраждалих, загиблих немає, а будівлі зазнали лише незначних пошкоджень.
Тайфун 4 категорії «Коїну», що в перекладі з японської означає «цуценя», обрушився на Тайвань поблизу півострова Хенгчунь.
Оскільки сильні дощі можуть спричинити зсуви та повені в горах, парки та лісові зони відпочинку також закрили. Людей закликали уникати перебування на узбережжі, оскільки тайфун може підняти хвилі до семи метрів.
За даними міністерства транспорту, скасовано майже всі внутрішні та 42 міжнародні рейси, а також призупинено поромне сполучення.
Тайвань і південна частина Китаю вже кілька тижнів потерпають від екстремальних погодних явищ. На початку вересня тайфун «Хайку» паралізував південно-східну частину Тайваню, багато людей постраждало, близько восьми тисяч людей були евакуйовані, і щонайменше 226 тисяч домогосподарств залишилися без електропостачання.

Тайфун „Хайкуй” обрушився в понеділок на південний схід Тайваню з проливними дощами і сильним вітром, в результаті чого, за даними влади, багато людей отримало поранення, близько 8 000 осіб були евакуйовані, а щонайменше 226 000 домогосподарств залишилися без електропостачання.
За даними національного центру з надзвичайних ситуацій, внаслідок штормів було вирвано з корінням дерева на сході та півдні острова, в багатьох місцях зафіксовані повені і зсуви.
Центр повідомив, що щонайменше 78 людей отримали поранення в дорожньо-транспортних пригодах, причому багато автомобілів людей були зачеплені падаючими деревами.
Міністр внутрішніх справ Лін Ю-Чан, який очолює центр, закликав мешканців острова вживати заходів обережності, зазначивши, що нещодавні дощі можуть спричинити подальші повені в гірських районах.
Хайкуй пройшов над південним Тайванем і слабшає в міру того, як рухається в напрямку південного Китаю, а попередження про тайфун, як очікується, залишаться актуальними до ранку вівторка за місцевим часом, повідомили в центрі.

Тайвань готується до приходу потужного тайфуну Хайкуй у неділю, 3 вересня. Очікується, що він принесе проливний дощ і сильний вітер на південь і схід острова.
Про це повідомляє Reuters.
Зазначається, що у зв’язку з тайфуном, що наближається, влада евакуювала майже 3 тисячі людей. Також скасували внутрішні авіарейси та поромні перевезення до морських островів. Округи та міста на сході та півдні оголосили цей день вихідним.
Очікується, що тайфун досягне берега в гірській і малонаселеній місцевості далекого південного сходу Тайваню вдень у неділю.
Влада мобілізувала військових та обладнання для допомоги в ліквідації наслідків майбутньої повені, яку може спричинити негода.
Президент Тайваню Цай Ін Вень заявив на зустрічі представників служб ліквідації наслідків стихійних лих, що це буде перший тайфун, який обрушиться на острів і перетне його центральний гірський масив за чотири роки.
Після проходження через південний Тайвань, тайфун, за прогнозами, перетне Тайванську протоку в Китай.

На півдні Китаю в провінції Гуандун через наближення потужного тайфуну «Саола» евакуювали з небезпечних районів понад 780 тисяч жителів
Про це повідомляє Xinhua, передає Укрінформ.
За даними метеорологічної обсерваторії провінції, тайфун «Саола», дев’ятий тайфун цього року, обрушився в суботу о 3:30 ранку за місцевим часом на місто Чжухай із населенням понад 2,5 мільйони осіб. В цей момент максимальна швидкість вітру біля епіцентру тайфуну становила від 42 до 46 метрів на секунду.
Перед цим від тайфуну постраждали Гонконг і Макао, де сильні зливи спричинили підтоплення, а ураганний вітер зі швидкістю понад 200 кілометрів на годину виривав дерева і зносив дахи в будинках. Про людські жертви і постраждалих наразі не повідомляється.
За прогнозами метеорологів, «Саола» буде рухатись у південно-західному напрямку в бік східного узбережжя Тайваню вздовж берегової лінії Гуандуну зі швидкістю від 15 до 20 км на годину і поступово втрачатиме силу.
Через наближення тайфуну в 13 містах провінції скасували урочистості з нагоди Дня знань 1 вересня й перенесли дату початку навчального року в школах і дитячих садках та, за розпорядженням місцевої влади, скасували всі роботи в морі і повернули в гавані понад 80 тисяч рибальських суден і човнів.
Впродовж вихідних метеорологи очікують, що «Саола» принесе сильні шторми та зливи з потужним вітром на південь і в прибережні райони Гуандуну.

Тропічний шторм „Саола” посилився до супертайфуну, повідомило в неділю метеорологічне бюро Філіппін. Це підвищує ймовірність сильних дощів і потужних вітрів, які можуть обрушитися на важливі райони вирощування рису і кукурудзи в північних провінціях країни, пише Reuters.
Супертайфун «Саола» з максимальною швидкістю вітру до 185 км/год поблизу його центру і поривами до 230 км/год пройшов над прибережними водами провінції Ісабела рано вранці в неділю, повідомляє метеорологічне бюро Філіппін.
Через це в неділю і в понеділок очікуються сильні дощі в провінціях Ісабела, Кагаян, Ілокос і в гірському регіоні філіппінських Кордильєрів, що підвищує ризик повеней і зсувів. Ці провінції є одними з найбільших виробників рису, кукурудзи та овочів в країні.
Очікується, що протягом наступних трьох днів «Саола» також зачепить провінції на головному острові Лусон, а також столицю Манілу. За прогнозами метеорологічного бюро, «Саола» поверне на північ у понеділок і досягне південного Тайваню пізно ввечері в середу або на початку четверга.

Тайфун «Лан» (Lan) обрушився на головний острів Японії Хонсю, принісши сильні опади, порушивши повітряне, автомобільне та залізничне сполучення та спричинивши хаос для внутрішніх і міжнародних мандрівників.

Як зазначається, тайфун обрушився на деякі західні райони Японії сильними дощами: за шість годин у Натікацуурі, префектура Вакаяма, випало 304 мм опадів, а в Аябе, префектура Кіото – 190 мм.
Central Japan Railway Co. і West Japan Railway Co. скасували всі швидкісні поїзди між станціями Нагоя та Шін-Осака, а також між станціями Шін-Осака та Окаяма протягом вівторка.
Авіакомпанії Japan Airlines Co. і All Nippon Airways Co. скасували понад 560 рейсів, які переважно відправлялися та прибували на заході Японії, що вплинуло на понад 50 тисяч пасажирів.
Також були закриті деякі автомагістралі та популярний парк розваг Universal Studios Japan в Осаці.
Метеорологічне агентство продовжує попереджати про сильні опади в східній, центральній і західній Японії та закликає жителів бути уважними щодо можливих небезпечних повеней, зсувів і сильних вітрів.

Циклон пронісся Тихим океаном зі швидкістю 180 кілометрів на годину й, за прогнозами, мав досягнути узбережжя Окінави у вівторок увечері або вночі, після чого повернути на східний Китай.
За даними Японської метеорологічної служби, у вівторок удень за місцевим часом тайфун «Ханун», який був класифікований як сильний, знаходився за 170 кілометрів на південний схід від Нахи, столиці Окінави.
Згідно з попередженням, біля узбережжя островів очікуються штормовий вітер, сильний дощ і хвилі заввишки до 12 метрів.
«Багато людей залишаються вдома, оскільки їхні будинки побудовані з бетону», – заявив представник місцевої служби з ліквідації наслідків стихійних лих. «Однак тих, хто живе один або в низинних районах у дерев’яних будинках, ми просимо подумати й до приходу тайфуну знайти укриття», – додав чиновник.
У вівторок було скасовано понад 500 авіарейсів на Окінаву і з неї, напередодні приходу тайфуну призупинилися також робота місцевих поромних переправ та автобусне сполучення, повідомив японський державний телеканал NHK.
За даними японських авіакомпаній JAL та ANA, у вівторок і середу через скасування рейсів зазнали незручностей понад 74 000 пасажирів.

На Філіппінах кількість жертв повеней і зсувів, спричинених тайфуном «Доксурі», зросла до 25, щонайменше 20 осіб зникли безвісти, повідомило в понеділок місцеве агентство з ліквідації наслідків стихійних лих (NDRRMC).
Багато частин країни досі під водою, оскільки проливні дощі не припинилися навіть після того, як минулого четверга її залишив «Доксурі».
Минулого тижня на північне узбережжя островів налетів руйнівний тайфун зі швидкістю 175 кілометрів на годину. Його супроводжували проливні дощі, які затопили дороги і в багатьох районах спричинили зсуви ґрунту.
За даними метеорологічної служби, у понеділок став потужнішим також тайфун «Ханун», шостий циклон, від якого цьогоріч потерпають острови. На думку експертів, «Ханун» посилить південно-західний мусон і викличе ще сильніші дощі, зокрема в Манілі, столиці Філіппін.
NDRRMC повідомляє, що від «Доксурі» постраждали майже 2,4 мільйона людей у 43 провінціях країни. Зокрема понад 50 000 осіб були змушені покинути свої домівки.
Щороку через Філіппіни проходить близько 20 тайфунів та сильних штормів. Крім того, країна знаходиться в Тихоокеанському вогняному кільці, відомому частими землетрусами та виверженнями вулканів.
