Тайфун «Коїну» обрушився на південний схід Тайваню напередодні із сильним дощем і значними поривами вітру. Внаслідок шторму постраждало 190 осіб, але обійшлося без жертв. Водночас мільйони людей не змогли піти на роботу чи в школу через негоду, повідомила місцева влада.
Влада Тайваню на час шторму оголосила про призупинення роботи та закриття шкіл у кількох містах. Тайфун спричинив пориви вітру до 250 кілометрів на годину. Столиця Тайпей не постраждала від негоди.
Пожежна служба Тайваню повідомила про 190 постраждалих, загиблих немає, а будівлі зазнали лише незначних пошкоджень.
Тайфун 4 категорії «Коїну», що в перекладі з японської означає «цуценя», обрушився на Тайвань поблизу півострова Хенгчунь.
Оскільки сильні дощі можуть спричинити зсуви та повені в горах, парки та лісові зони відпочинку також закрили. Людей закликали уникати перебування на узбережжі, оскільки тайфун може підняти хвилі до семи метрів.
За даними міністерства транспорту, скасовано майже всі внутрішні та 42 міжнародні рейси, а також призупинено поромне сполучення.
Тайвань і південна частина Китаю вже кілька тижнів потерпають від екстремальних погодних явищ. На початку вересня тайфун «Хайку» паралізував південно-східну частину Тайваню, багато людей постраждало, близько восьми тисяч людей були евакуйовані, і щонайменше 226 тисяч домогосподарств залишилися без електропостачання.

Міністерство оборони Тайваню впродовж доби виявило 68 літаків ВПС і 10 бойових кораблів ВМС армії Китаю, які здійснювали маневри навколо острова.
Про це оборонне відомство повідомило в мережі Х, передає Укрінформ.
Як ідеться в повідомленні, 40 літаків, серед яких 28 винищувачів J-10 і J-16, по два літаки дальнього радіолокаційного виявлення KJ-500, транспортних Y-9 і паливозаправників Y-20 перетнули серединну лінію Тайванської протоки, яка вважається неофіційним кордоном між материком та островом, і увійшли в південно-західну та південно-східну ідентифікаційні зони ППО Тайваню.
У Міноборони зауважили, що тайванська армія у відповідь привела свої сили в бойову готовність і здійснювала спостереження за діями китайських військових.
Народно-визвольна армія Китаю (НВАК) щодня направляє бойові літаки й кораблі для здійснення патрулювання повітряного й морського простору навколо Тайваню. При цьому літаки ВПС НВАК часто входять до зони ідентифікації тайванської ППО, що втім не вважається порушенням повітряного простору острова.

Тайфун „Хайкуй” обрушився в понеділок на південний схід Тайваню з проливними дощами і сильним вітром, в результаті чого, за даними влади, багато людей отримало поранення, близько 8 000 осіб були евакуйовані, а щонайменше 226 000 домогосподарств залишилися без електропостачання.
За даними національного центру з надзвичайних ситуацій, внаслідок штормів було вирвано з корінням дерева на сході та півдні острова, в багатьох місцях зафіксовані повені і зсуви.
Центр повідомив, що щонайменше 78 людей отримали поранення в дорожньо-транспортних пригодах, причому багато автомобілів людей були зачеплені падаючими деревами.
Міністр внутрішніх справ Лін Ю-Чан, який очолює центр, закликав мешканців острова вживати заходів обережності, зазначивши, що нещодавні дощі можуть спричинити подальші повені в гірських районах.
Хайкуй пройшов над південним Тайванем і слабшає в міру того, як рухається в напрямку південного Китаю, а попередження про тайфун, як очікується, залишаться актуальними до ранку вівторка за місцевим часом, повідомили в центрі.

Тайвань готується до приходу потужного тайфуну Хайкуй у неділю, 3 вересня. Очікується, що він принесе проливний дощ і сильний вітер на південь і схід острова.
Зазначається, що у зв’язку з тайфуном, що наближається, влада евакуювала майже 3 тисячі людей. Також скасували внутрішні авіарейси та поромні перевезення до морських островів. Округи та міста на сході та півдні оголосили цей день вихідним.
Очікується, що тайфун досягне берега в гірській і малонаселеній місцевості далекого південного сходу Тайваню вдень у неділю.
Влада мобілізувала військових та обладнання для допомоги в ліквідації наслідків майбутньої повені, яку може спричинити негода.
Президент Тайваню Цай Ін Вень заявив на зустрічі представників служб ліквідації наслідків стихійних лих, що це буде перший тайфун, який обрушиться на острів і перетне його центральний гірський масив за чотири роки.

Тайвань вранці активував свої системи протиповітряної оборони у відповідь на входження в зону ідентифікації ППО острова 37 китайських військових літаків, частина яких потім полетіли в західну частину Тихого океану.
Про це повідомляє тайванське міноборони у своєму Твіттері, передає Укрінформ.
Як ідеться в повідомленні, близько п’ятої ранку за місцевим часом (00:00 за Києвом) у зону ідентифікації ППО увійшли 37 літаків ВПС Китаю, серед яких – винищувачі J-11 і J-16, стратегічні ядерні бомбардувальники H-6 та розвідувальні літаки з системами AWACS (дальнього радіолокаційного виявлення).
Кілька з них полетіли через південно-східний повітряний простір Тайваню в західну частину Тихого океану для тренувань із повітряної розвідки дальньої дії.
Тайванські військові повідомили, що у відповідь було надіслано літаки та кораблі для спостереження за китайськими повітряними суднами й активовано наземні ракетні системи. Водночас, зауважили в Міноборони, такий алгоритм реагування на військову активність Китаю поблизу острова загалом є стандартним, і жодних додаткових заходів не вживалося.
Китай, який вважає демократично керований Тайвань своєю територією, протягом останніх кількох років регулярно направляє свої військові літаки для польотів поблизу острова, під час яких вони входять до зони ідентифікації його ППО, хоча територіального повітряного простору Тайваню не порушують.

Супутник пройшов над північним узбережжям Тайваню, і уламки ракети впали в межах цієї зони, повідомило джерело, підкресливши, що інцидент не вплинув на «внутрішню безпеку» регіону.

Це сталося через кілька днів після того, як Пекін пригрозив наслідками, якщо президент острова Цай Інвень зустрінеться зі спікером Палати представників США Кевіном Маккарті, повідомляє Reuters.
Китай, який вважає демократично керований Тайвань своєю територією, незважаючи на рішучі заперечення уряду острова, був обурений тим, що він вважає посиленням підтримки Тайваню з боку США.
Цай прибула до Сполучених Штатів у середу, 29 березня, здійснивши «транзитну зупинку» на шляху до країн Центральної Америки.
Очікується, що вона зустрінеться з Маккарті в Лос-Анджелесі на зворотному шляху до Тайбея. Китай пригрозив невизначеними заходами у відповідь, якщо ця зустріч відбудеться.
Міністерство оборони Тайваню заявило, що дев’ять китайських літаків перетнули точки на півночі, в центрі і на півдні від серединної лінії протоки, яка раніше слугувала неофіційним бар’єром між двома сторонами.

Цай під час свого першого візиту до США з 2019 року заявила в Нью-Йорку в четвер, 30 березня, що провина за зростання напруженості лежить на Китаї.
«Китай навмисно нагнітає напруженість, але Тайвань завжди реагує обережно і спокійно, щоб світ бачив, що Тайвань є відповідальною стороною», – зазначила вона.

Тайвань підняв у повітря свою реактивну авіацію, щоб попередити 29 китайських літаків у своїй зоні протиповітряної оборони, включно з бомбардувальниками.
Як пише The Guardian, цей інцидент став «найбільшим вторгненням із кінця травня». За даними Reuters, літаків було 39.
Як інформує Міноборони Тайваню, 22 грудня в зону ідентифікації тайванської ППО увійшли 17 винищувачів і шість бомбардувальників H-6, а також літаки радіоелектронної боротьби, раннього попередження, протичовнові та літаки-заправники.
Тайвань відправив свої бойові літаки, щоб запобігти китайським ВПС. Ба більше, було розгорнуто ракетні системи для спостереження за ними.
У міністерстві зазначають, що не було зроблено жодного пострілу, і китайські літаки в повітряний простір Тайваню не заходили. Натомість вони літали в зоні ППО країни — ширшій зоні, яку Тайвань контролює та патрулює, що дає йому більше часу для реагування на будь-які загрози.
Останні події стали найбільшим вторгненням із того часу, як 30 травня Тайвань повідомив про 30 китайських літаків у зоні своєї ППО.
Китай свої дії поки що не коментував. Попередні вторгнення в КНР називали «навчаннями, спрямованими на захист суверенітету країни».

Тридцять шість військових літаків армії Китаю наблизилися до Тайваню, повідомило міністерство оборони острова в неділю.
Десять літаків, помічених у суботу (шість Senyang J-11 і чотири J-16), перетнули неофіційну водну «центральну лінію» між двома територіями в Тайванській протоці. Кілька літаків були зафіксовані на південному заході від Тайваню, а також надійшла інформація про появу в небі трьох китайських безпілотників, ідеться в повідомленні міністерства.
З серпня військові Китаю провели низку навчань у безпосередній близькості до Тайваню.
У жовтні на з’їзді Комуністичної партії Сі Цзіньпін, переобраний її генеральним секретарем, заявив, що Китай прагне до мирного возз’єднання з Тайванем і не вдасться до військового варіанту вирішення проблеми. А також підкреслив, що вирішення тайванського питання залежить від китайського народу й «національне возз’єднання обов’язково відбудеться».
За словами Сі Цзіньпіна, з урахуванням зростання напруги навколо Тайваню наразі ситуація з безпекою є нестабільною. Видання Guardian зазначає, що в середу президент КНР з’явився у військовій формі серед солдатів на фотографії китайської партійної газети.
На думку аналітиків, Сі Цзіньпін використовує більш різкі військові меседжі, ніж раніше, хоча після приходу до влади у 2012 та 2017 роках він говорив про загрозу збройного конфлікту та важливість національної безпеки. Однак тепер президент Китаю надсилає сильніші сигнали Сполученим Штатам, які стоять на сторожі незалежності Тайваню. Водночас Джо Байден неодноразово давав зрозуміти, що Вашингтон захищатиме фактично незалежний острів від Пекіна в разі нападу.
