Megbénult pénteken Párizsban a tömegközlekedés a fizetésemelést követelő dolgozók sztrájkja miatt: a 14 metróvonal közül nyolcon egyáltalán nem indultak szerelvények, haton pedig csak a reggeli és az esti csúcsforgalmi időkben közlekednek vonatok; a buszok, a villamosok és az elővárosi vonatok (RER) is ritkán járnak.
A városban azonban a vártnál kisebbek a dugók, miután a párizsiak egy jelentős része a koronavírus-járvány miatt még otthoni munkavégzésben dolgozik, illetve a hét utolsó munkanapján otthon maradt az előre bejelentetett figyelmeztető munkabeszüntetés idejére.
A tömegközlekedési dolgozók valamennyi szakszervezete (CGT, FO, Unsa, CFE-CGC) egységesen munkabeszüntetésre szólította fel a dolgozóit a nyomásgyakorláshoz a fizetésemelésről megkezdett tárgyalások idejére.
A párizsi tömegközlekedési vállalat, az RATP vezetősége előzetesen azt ígérte, hogy a dolgozók keresete nem veszít semmit vásárlóerejéből. Hétfőn átlagosan 2,7 százalékos fizetésemelést ajánlottak 2022-re, a szakszervezetek viszont azt állítják, hogy a vezetőség csak 0,4 százalékos emelést garantált, miközben a statisztikai hivatal szerint az infláció az első negyedévben meg fogja haladni a 3 százalékot. A szakszervezetek egységesen 3 százalékos emelést követelnek.
Utoljára 2019-ben, a pandémia előtt volt közlekedési sztrájk Párizsban, akkor a nyugdíjreform ellen tüntettek a dolgozók.

Könnygázzal oszlatta a tüntetőket a rendőrség a párizsi Champs-Elysées sugárúton szombaton, röviddel azután, hogy a koronavírus miatti korlátozások ellen tiltakozó kocsioszlop megérkezett a francia fővárosba.
A kanadai tiltakozás mintájára szerveződött, elégedetlenségüknek dudálással és a forgalom akadályozásával hangot adó autósok francia zászlókat lobogtatva rajzottak az Diadalív körül, fittyet hányva a rendőrségi tilalomra.
A rendőrség korábban ötszáz járművet tartóztatott fel Párizs környékén, amelyek a betiltott tüntetésre igyekeztek, és csaknem háromszáz bírságot osztott ki. A hatóságok több mint hétezer rendőr mozgósításával, ellenőrzőpontok felállításával, páncélozott személyszállító járművekkel és vízágyúkkal készültek a megmozdulásra.
A tüntetés oka az volt, hogy a legújabb szabályozás értelmében a francia állampolgárok csak oltási igazolvánnyal vehetnek igénybe számos szolgáltatást.
Franciaországban hetek óta tiltakoznak emiatt.
Az elnökválasztás közeledtével Emmanuel Macron francia államfő szeretné elkerülni, hogy a megmozdulások a 2018-as sárgamellényes tüntetésekhez hasonló széleskörű társadalmi elégedetlenségbe torkolljanak.
A rendőrség két utcai felvonulást engedélyezett szombatra Párizsban: az egyik az oltásellenes tüntetőké, a másik a sárgamellényeseké.
A hatóságok közölték, hogy őrizetbe vettek öt tiltakozót a francia főváros déli részén, akiknél csúzlik, kalapácsok, kések és gázálarcok voltak.
Franciaországon kívül a hollandiai Hágában is tiltakozást szerveztek szombaton. Ott a parlamenti épületegyütteshez vezető utat torlaszolták el a tiltakozás résztvevői.

Az olasz főváros prefektusa egészen hétfőig betiltott minden köztéri megmozdulást a koronavírus-járvány miatti korlátozó intézkedések ellen, a kanadai példa alapján szerveződő olasz szabadságkonvoj elnevezésű mozgalom hétvégére tervezett tüntetéseinek leállítására.
A demonstrációk tiltása Róma egész területére és a főváros környékére is érvényes, közbiztonsági okok miatt.
Matteo Piantedosi prefektus indoklása szerint a tüntetők azt tervezték, hogy a Rómától kevesebb, mint húsz kilométerre fekvő magaslaton készülnek „bázist” szervezni, majd innen vonulnának járműveikkel a fővárosba.
A hatóságok az információkat a közösségi oldalakon gyűjtik be, melyeken az Olasz Szabadságkonvoj nevű mozgalom már több tízezer tagot számlál. Vannak közöttük oltásellenesek, valamint szélsőséges bal- és jobboldali csoportok.
Az internetes bejegyzések szerint a szervezők a többi között az oltásellenesek „kiképzését” tervezték „ellenállásra”, továbbá létre akartak hozni „nemzeti felszabadító polgári hadsereget” is.
A Rómába vezető országutakon és az autósztráda bejárati kapuinál megerősítették a biztonsági ellenőrzést a rendőrség, csendőrség, pénzügyőrség bevonásával.
Kanadában a koronavírus megfékezését célzó intézkedések és a védőoltással kapcsolatos szabályozás elleni tüntetések alig több mint egy hete több száz teherautóból álló konvojjal kezdődtek. A sofőrök a január közepén bevezetett rendelkezés ellen tiltakoznak, amely arra kötelezi őket, hogy beadassák a koronavírus elleni oltást, ha az Egyesült Államokba vagy onnan kellene árut szállítaniuk.
Olaszországban a fuvarozók országos szövetsége (Unatras) az üzemanyag-drágulás miatt készül megmozdulásra, ha a kormánnyal jövő hétre kért egyeztetés eredménytelenül zárulna. A kamionosok már körbezárták Közép-Olaszország legnagyobb nagykereskedelmi zöldség-gyümölcs elosztópontját, amelyen keresztül a termékek délről északra haladnak.
A Lazio tartomány kamionosait tömörítő FAI-Conftrasporto elnöke, Paolo Uggé a Corriere della Sera című napilapnak nyilatkozva az ország „blokádját” helyezte tervbe, miközben Ivano Vacondio, az agráripari Federalimentare elnöke „tökéletes viharnak” nevezte az energiaárak drágulása és a nyersanyaghiány egybeesését.

A tüntetők Wellingtonban, a parlament épülete előtt táboroztak le, jóllehet a rendőrség a területet csütörtök reggel lezárta, az ott lévőket pedig távozásra szólította fel. Néhányan úttorlaszokat is emeltek, és megpróbáltak behatolni az épületbe.

A Radio New Zealand nevű rádióállomás szerint a törvényhozás épülete előtt több kisebb összecsapás robbant ki a tüntetők és a rendőrök között. Kedden több ezren – vélhetően a Kanadából jelentett hasonló megmozdulások hatására – teherautókkal érkeztek a parlamenthez, így fejezve ki elégedetlenségüket a szigorú járványügyi rendeletek ellen.
Új-Zélandon több szektorban kötelezővé tették a koronavírus elleni oltást, és oltási igazoláshoz kötik a többi között a vendéglátóhelyek, a templomok és az edzőtermek látogatását is.
Az országnak a koronavírus-világjárvány nagyobb részében a szigorú rendelkezéseknek köszönhetően sikerült feltartóztatnia a kórokozó terjedését, és a mintegy 18 ezer igazolt fertőzés mellett 53 halálesetet regisztráltak a járvánnyal összefüggésben az ötmillió lakosú országban. A szigetország lakosainak 77 százaléka teljesen beoltott az Our World in Data nevű szervezet adatai szerint. Az omikron variáns megjelenése miatt tavaly Jacinda Ardern miniszterelnök azt mondta, egyelőre nem enyhítenek a járványügyi korlátozásokon.

A koronavírus megfékezését célzó intézkedések és a védőoltással kapcsolatos szabályozás ellen tüntetők eltorlaszolták Kanadában kedden és az Egyesült Államokkal közös, legfontosabb határátkelőjét.
Helyszíni beszámolók szerint az úton, amely az Ontarióban található Windsort köti össze a michigani Detroittal, kamionok és kisteherautók álltak keresztbe. Ez az út a két ország közötti legforgalmasabb határátkelő.
A windsori hatóságok azt közölték, hogy a járművek folyamatosan érkeznek a területre, az embereket pedig arra kérték, igyekezzenek más útvonalakon megközelíteni az Egyesült Államokat.
Emellett felszólították a tüntetőket, tartózkodjanak a közrend megzavarásától, emlékeztetve őket, hogy a szabálysértők ellen eljárást kezdeményeznek.
Az ottawai tüntetések alig több mint egy hete több száz teherautóból álló konvojjal kezdődtek. A sofőrök az ellen a január közepén bevezetett rendelkezés ellen tiltakoznak, amely arra kötelezi őket, hogy beadassák a koronavírus elleni oltást, ha az Egyesült Államokba vagy onnan kellene árut szállítaniuk. A kamionosok tiltakozásához azóta sok, a járványügyi rendeletekkel egyet nem értő ember csatlakozott, a demonstrálók azt akarják elérni, hogy „az élet térjen vissza a normális kerékvágásba”.
A „szabadság konvojaként” emlegetett, azóta több ezer teherautónyira duzzadt karaván január 30-án elérte a fővárost, Ottawát is, a sofőrök és a szimpatizánsok pedig a törvényhozás épülete előtt táboroztak le.
Justin Trudeau miniszterelnök a megmozdulás beszüntetésére szólított fel, amely szerinte „megbénítja a demokráciát”.
A környéken élők mindeközben a sajtónak a teherautók keltette zajra, és a folyamatos dudálásra panaszkodtak.
Bár a járvány kitörése óta a kanadaiak nagyrésze követte a kormány rendelkezéseit, az oltásra jogosultak csaknem 79 százaléka pedig a vakcina mindkét adagját felvette, a legutóbbi közvéleménykutatások szerint nő az elégedetlenség a járványügyi korlátozásokkal szemben.
A BBC brit hírtelevízió a múlt héten arról számolt be, hogy az oltásellenesek hangosak ugyan, de jelentős kisebbségben vannak, miután Kanada mintegy 120 ezer, nemzetközi áruforgalmat biztosító teherautósofője közül körülbelül 90 százalék vette fel az oltást.

Elmondása szerint több lehetőséget is mérlegelnek a várost blokkoló tüntetések megszüntetésére, többek között a hadsereg igénybevételét, tárgyalások, politikai reakció, bírósági döntés és a tüntetők kényszerfeloszlatása.
Sloley szerint azonban mindezek a lehetőségek jelentős kockázatokkal járnak, beleértve a zavargásokat, sérüléseket és haláleseteket. „Nincs mandátumom sem a városban, sem a tartományban, sem az országban, hogy tárgyaljak a tüntetések befejezéséről. A tüntetések megszüntetéséhez mindig kell lennie a rendőrségen kívül egy másik oldalnak, különösen ekkora léptékben”, – jegyezte meg a rendfenntartó. Egyben hozzátette: a tiltakozások időtartamával arányosan nő az erőszak és a sérülés veszélye.
A múlt hét vége óta tartanak a tömeges tüntetések a kanadai fővárosban a teherautó-sofőrök kezdeményezésére, akik a koronavírus elleni küzdelem érdekében hozott közegészségügyi intézkedések eltörlését szorgalmazzák. A teherautók nagy száma miatt Ottawa belvárosában gyakorlatilag blokkolva van a forgalom.

Összetűzésekre került sor a pandémia-törvény ellen tüntetők és a rendőrség között kedden délután Prágában. A rendőrség négy tüntetőt őrizetbe vett, egy rendőr megsérült – jelentette a cseh közszolgálati televízió (CT24).
A tüntetők egy fotóriportert is bántalmaztak, mert a szabályoknak megfelelően maszkot viselt. A tüntetők a maszkviselést is elutasítják.
A cseh képviselőház épületének közelében zajló tüntetést a koronavírus-járvány miatti korlátozásokat és óvintézkedéseket elutasító Chcípl PES (Elpusztult a kutya) elnevezésű polgári kezdeményezés szervezte. A PES a hivatalos járványellenes rendszer nevének cseh rövidítése, de kutyát is jelent. Innen a civil kezdeményezés neve. A mozgalmat tavaly év elején olyan kisvállalkozók hozták létre, akik a koronavírus terjedése elleni intézkedések miatt a létüket látják veszélyeztetve.
A tavaly tavasszal elfogadott cseh pandémia-törvény lényege, hogy a képviselőház országos járvány idején a kormányt rendkívüli intézkedések meghozatalára hatalmazhatja fel anélkül, hogy szükségállapotot kellene kihirdetni. A képviselőház most azért tűzte napirendre a témát, mert kormányon lévő ötpárti jobboldali koalíció módosításokkal hatékonyabbá szeretné tenni a jogszabályt.
Az Elpusztult a kutya mozgalom ismételten tiltakozik és már hosszabb ideje a pandémia-törvény eltörlését követeli. Kezdeményezésére már vasárnap a prágai Vencel téren több ezren tüntettek a közélet korlátozása és az óvintézkedések ellen. A keddi tüntetéssel párhuzamosan a kezdeményezés több száz támogatója személyautókon járja a cseh fővárost, hogy felhívja a figyelmet „a polgári szabadságjogok korlátozására”.
A vasárnapi és a keddi tüntetésen jelképes akasztófák is megjelentek, amelyre a szabadságjogok voltak felakasztva. A prágai sajtó többsége ezt élesen bírálta, s rendőrségi beavatkozást követelt az akasztófákat vivők ellen. A hatóságok hivatalos álláspontja szerint ez azonban csak akkor lenne törvényellenes és büntetendő, ha a jelképes akasztófa konkrét személy ellen irányulna.
A rendőrség a keddi tüntetők számát másfélezerre becsülte.

Nem igazak azok az információk, amelyek szerint meghalt a vállalkozók kedden Kijevben, a Legfelső Tanács épülete előtt tartott tiltakozó tüntetés egyik résztvevője, ahogy a szervezők állítják – adta hírül a korrespondent.net hírportál szerdán a Belügyminisztérium közlésére hivatkozva.
A belügyi tájékoztatás szerint a tüntetők és a rendfenntartók összecsapása során eszméletét vesztett vállalkozót a nemzeti gárdisták és a rendőrök elsősegélyben részesítették. Miután magához tért, a barátjával együtt távozott a helyszínről – áll a közleményben.
Mint a Belügyminisztérium emlékeztetett rá, az akciót szervező SaveFOP közösségi oldalán olyan információ jelent meg, hogy a tüntetés egyik résztvevőjét megölték, és ismeretlen irányba elvitték. Ez az információ nem igaz, a térfigyelő kamerák felvételei nem ezt bizonyítják.
A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint a tiltakozás során a tüntetők agresszíven viselkedtek, megpróbálták áttörni a rendőrkordont és be akartak hatolni a parlamentbe. Ekkor törni-zúzni kezdtek, könnyfakasztó gázt használtak, fáklyákat és füstbombákat gyújtottak, kövekkel és egyéb tárgyakkal dobálták a rendfenntartókat. Nem reagáltak a rendőrök felszólítására, hogy hagyják abba a jogellenes cselekményeket. Az akció 63 résztvevőjét előállították, köztük 38 egyéni vállalkozót. Az összecsapások következtében 18 rendőr szenvedett sérüléseket, közte töréseket, zárt koponya-agyi sérüléseket és vegyi égési szemsérüléseket. A tüntetők közül hárman fordultak orvoshoz.
