У неділю, 16 жовтня, близько 11 години ранку екоактивіст руху Just Stop Oil («Просто зупиніть нафту») облив помаранчевою фарбою фасад флагманського автосалону Aston Martin у Лондоні. Учасники руху також заблокували дорогу на вулиці Парк-лейн.
Цим демонстранти Just Stop Oil хочуть звернути увагу британської влади на екологічну катастрофу у світі. Вони закликають припинити видобуток нафти та газу у Північному морі.
«Нас не зупинять судові заборони, покликані заглушити протест. Ми ненасильницький громадянський рух. Ми знаємо, що судові заборони проти нас не мають жодного значення в порівнянні з масовим голодом та політикою геноциду, яку проводить наш уряд», — заявив активіст, який розпорошував фарбу.
Причиною проведення акції став виклад плану з придушення протестів міністра внутрішніх справ Суелли Браверман. Вона пропонує карати протестувальників шістьма місяцями в’язниці чи необмеженим штрафом.
Нагадаємо, минулого тижня активісти Just Stop Oil залили томатним супом картину Ван Гога «Соняшники», яка зберігається в Лондонській національній галереї. Полотно не постраждало, оскільки було захищене склом. Протестувальників уже звинуватили у завданні шкоди рамі картини.

З посиланням на міську поліцію видання зазначає, що 20-річну Анну Холланд з Ньюкасла та 21-річну Фібі Пламмер з Клафема викликали до Вестмінстерського суду через акцію, скоєну в п’ятницю в Національній галереї Лондона.
Третя активістка, 38-річна Лора Джонсон, була притягнута до кримінальної відповідальності за звинуваченням у навмисному пошкодженні майна, оскільки вона облила жовтою фарбою вивіску Скотланд-Ярду перед головною будівлею поліції та територію навколо.
Згідно з повідомленням поліції, за минулу добу в Лондоні було заарештовано 28 осіб через демонстрації групи екоактивістів Just Stop Oil.
У п’ятницю учасники акції перекрили дорогу, яка веде до головної будівлі Скотланд-Ярду. Вони протестували проти планів уряду видавати нові ліцензії на видобуток сирої нафти, щоб зменшити ризики енергопостачання.
Національна галерея в оприлюдненій заяві повідомила, що рама картини, створеної в 1888 році, зазнала незначних пошкоджень через рідину, схожу на томатний суп, а сама робота, захищена склом, залишилася неушкодженою. У Національній галереї Лондона дві активістки екоруху Just Stop Oil („Просто покінчіть з нафтою”) облили томатним супом знамениту картину голландського художника Вінсента Ван Гога. Про це повідомляє телеканал Sky News.
Зазначається, що дві дівчини перелізли через огороджувальну стрічку та вилили на картину вартістю 73 млн фунтів стерлінгів банку супу, а потім приклеїли себе суперклеєм до стіни галереї.
„Вас більше турбує захист картини? Чи захист нашої планети та людей? Криза вартості життя є частиною вартості нафтової кризи. Паливо недоступне для мільйонів голодних та холодних сімей. Вони не можуть собі дозволити навіть розігріти банку супу”, — кричала одна з активісток.
Після такого вчинку дівчат затримала поліція та відвезла до відділку.
У галереї повідомили, що полотно не постраждало, оскільки було під захисним склом.
Довідково: картину „Соняшники” нідерландський художник Вінсент Ван Гог написав у період з 1887 по 1889 роки. Картина зберігається в Національній галереї Лондона. Розмір полотна становить 92 на 73 см.
„Соняшники” — найбільш відома картина із серії робіт художника, присвячених квітам.

У німецькому Мюнхені вандали осквернили могилу лідера українських націоналістів Степана Бандери.
Про це на своїй сторінці у Facebook повідомив користувач Алесь Чайчиц, пише „Європейська правда”.
„Пошкоджена вандалами могила Степана Бандери в Мюнхені. Вирішив вперше побувати, а там поліція і це видовище”, – написав користувач, опублікувавши фото, на якому видно, що вандали розписали кам’яний хрест на могилі фіолетовим балончиком. Він припустив, що могилу спаплюжили місцеві ліві.
Це далеко не перший випадок вандалізму на могилі Бандери. У попередні роки їх трапилась ціла низка.

7 січня у селі Холмок, на Ужгородщині, невідомі пошкодили вказівники з назвою села. За інформацію від правоохоронців вандалів знайшли та затримали.
Це 35-ти та
45-річний мешканці села, котрі вже мали судимість. Правоохоронці припускають,
що поруч із вандалізмом вони вчинили й інші злочини. 6 січня увечері у
сусідньому селі Концово невідомі з сокирою напали на охоронця одного зі складів
та після побиття – пограбували.
