Ізраїльські військові під час операції в місті Джебалія в секторі Газа виявили тіла п’яти заручників, які були викрадені радикальним палестинським рухом ХАМАС 7 жовтня. Про це повідомила Армія оборони Ізраїлю (ЦАХАЛ) у неділю, 24 грудня.
„У Джебалії було виявлено мережу стратегічних тунелів, яка служила північною штаб-квартирою ХАМАС у секторі Газа і використовувалася ХАМАС для зберігання зброї, пересування та ведення бойових дій. У ході операції солдати знайшли та витягли тіла п’яти заручників”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
У ЦАХАЛ зазначили, що в Джебалії було виявлено „дворівневу мережу тунелів ХАМАС з безліччю відгалужень”.
„Перший рівень йшов на 10 метрів під землю, другий рівень перебував у десятках метрів під поверхнею. Після проведення операції мережу тунелів було знищено”, – розповіли військові.

Чоловіка, який працював лікарем швидкої допомоги, викрали в Лівії 3 листопада 2017 року. Тоді він саме їхав на будівельний майданчик електростанції, приблизно за тисячу кілометрів від Тріполі. Злочинці вивезли заручника до Малі, де продали терористичній організації «Аль-Каїда».
До звільнення південноафриканця доклала зусиль гуманітарна організація Gift of the Givers. У своєму повідомленні вона підкреслила, що з-поміж громадян ПАР Девентер провів у полоні «Аль-Каїди» найбільше часу.

Речник ізраїльського уряду Ейлон Леві повідомив, що 137 заручників досі утримують у секторі Гази. Водночас 110 людей вже повернулися з полону.
Про це пише The Times of Israel.
Серед заручників 115 чоловіків, 20 жінок і двоє дітей. Десятьом з них понад 75 років, а більшість — громадяни Ізраїлю. Ще є 11 іноземців, зокрема вісім людей з Таїланду.
За словами Леві, наймолодшому заручнику десять місяців, він у полоні разом із 4-річним братом і матірʼю. Ізраїльські військові розслідують заяву ХАМАС про те, що хлопчиків та їхню матір вбили.
Ще семеро людей вважаються зниклими безвісти під час першого нападу ХАМАС 7 жовтня.
Загалом ХАМАС звільнив 110 людей. Частина заручників може бути в руках інших угруповань. 7 жовтня в атаці на Ізраїль брали участь не тільки хамасівці, але й представники «Ісламського джихаду», «Народного фронту визволення Палестини» та інших формувань.

У жовтні група мусульманських політиків з Таїланду відвідала Тегеран і зустрілася з високопосадовцями ХАМАСу.
Крім того, міністерка закордонних справ Таїланду Бахідда-Нукара Парнпрі провела переговори про звільнення тайських заручників з високопосадовцями в Каїрі й Досі. Близько тайських 30 000 громадян працюють в Ізраїлі, де становлять одну з найбільших груп іноземних робітників.

За даними Армії оборони Ізраїлю (ЦАХАЛ), у неділю ввечері Червоному Хресту передали звільнених заручників ХАМАСу.
Як передає Укрінформ, про це повідомляє CNN.
До третьої групи звільнених заручників входять 17 осіб, серед яких є як ізраїльтяни, так й іноземні громадяни.
Нагадаємо, у п’ятницю о сьомій годині набуло чинності чотириденне перемир’я, укладене між Ізраїлем та угрупованням ХАМАС за посередництва Катару.
Пенітенціарна служба Ізраїлю повідомила, що отримала список із 39 палестинських засуджених за тероризм, які будуть звільнені в рамках угоди з ХАМАСом.
У неділю, 26 листопада, друга група з 13 ізраїльських заручників та чотирьох іноземців, звільнених ХАМАСом, перетнула кордон Єгипту після 49 днів у полоні, в якому вони утримувалися терористичним угрупуванням в Газі.
Раніше терористи ХАМАСу вже звільнили перше групу заручників із 25 людей.

«Минулого тижня катарські брати доклали всіх зусиль для звільнення захоплених жінок і дітей в обмін на 200 палестинських дітей і 75 жінок, яких утримує ворог», – повідомив Абу Убайда, речник бригади Ізз ад-Дін аль-Кассам – військового формування, що є частиною терористичного угруповання ХАМАС, на сторінці організації у Telegram.
«Слід установити повне припинення вогню і дозволити гуманітарній допомозі досягти всієї території Сектору Гази», – сказав Убайда, звинувативши Ізраїль у спробах уникнути угоди та затягуванні процесу.
7 жовтня бойовики ісламістського терористичного угруповання ХАМАС здійснили несподіваний напад на Ізраїль: увірвалися в південну частину країни, убили близько 1200 осіб, поранили три тисячі і взяли в заручники 240 осіб.

Терористи ХАМАС заявили про загибель майже 50 заручників, яких вони захопили під час нападу на Ізраїль 7 жовтня, нібито внаслідок ізраїльських ударів по сектору Гази.
Армія оборони Ізраїлю (ЦАХАЛ) заявила, що це нічим не підтверджені заяви, пише в четвер, 26 жовтня, The Times of Israel.
У ЦАХАЛ зазначили, що не можуть перевірити достовірність цих даних. Тим паче ХАМАС часто «фабрикує подібні заяви, а також веде психологічну війну проти родин заручників» і населення загалом.
Раніше 26 жовтня ізраїльська армія повідомила, що бойовики ХАМАС утримують у полоні 224 заручники. Серед них — жителі Мексики, Бразилії, США, Німеччини і Таїланду, а також ізраїльські цивільні особи і солдати.
Загалом із моменту нападу на Ізраїль, здійсненого бойовиками ХАМАС 7 жовтня, було звільнено чотирьох осіб.
