A jordániai állampolgárságú WFP-vezetőt a rendőrség szerint egy motorkerékpárról lőtték agyon, miközben Turbah városban egy étteremben ült. A tettes elmenekült – tette hozzá a rendőrség.
Néhány nappal korábban jelentette be a WFP, hogy regionális irodát nyit Taiz tartományban. A Szaba jemeni hírügynökség megerősítette a hírt, további részletek egyelőre nem ismeretesek.

Négy helyszínen négy embert lőtt agyon egy fegyveres szombaton az Egyesült Államok béli Georgia állam egy kisvárosában, Hamptonben, majd elmenekült, a rendőrség hajtóvadászatot indított.
Az Atlantától 50 kilométerre délre fekvő településen szombaton tartott sajtótájékoztatón a hatóság arról számolt be, hogy a tettes egy 40 éves helyi férfi, Andre Longmore, aki pisztollyal felfegyverkezve menekült el. A hatóság arra hívta fel lakosság figyelmét, hogy a szökésben lévő bűnöző veszélyes, a nyomravezetőnek ugyanakkor 10 ezer dollárt ajánlottak fel.
Az áldozatok – három férfi és egy nő – nevét nem hozták nyilvánosságra a hozzátartozókra hivatkozva, és egyelőre a támadás indítékát sem közölték.
A Georgia állambeli erőszakos cselekménnyel együtt idén már 31 „tömeges lövöldözés” besorolású esetet tartanak nyilván az amerikai hatóságok, ezekben összesen legkevesebb 153 ember halt meg.

Orosz lapok szerint a 42 éves Sztanyiszlav Rzsickijt a Strava fitneszalkalmazás profilján keresztül követhették.
Közben az orosz hatóságok közölték, letartóztattak egy férfit a gyilkossággal kapcsolatban.
Egyes feltételezések szerint a gyanúsított Szerhij Denysenko, az ukrán karate-szövetség korábbi vezetője.
A rendőrség közölt egy videót is a letartóztatásról, ám azon nem lehet ellenőrizni a férfi személyazonosságát. Később közzétettek egy olyan felvételt is, melyen Rzsickijt egy biciklis férfi követi reggeli futása közben.
A Kommerszant nevű orosz napilap szerint a volt tengerésztisztet az Olimp sportközpont melletti parkban lőtték hátba és mellkasba.

A Redondo Beach-i rendőrség múlt hét végén közölte, hogy több mint húsz év után Catherine Parker-Johnsonként azonosították az áldozatot a rokonok DNS-mintáinak a segítségével. Az áldozat családja utoljára 1981-ben hallott Parker-Johnson felől, de az eltűnését sosem jelentették.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy az ügyben gyilkossági nyomozás zajlik, gyanúsítottat egyelőre nem neveztek meg.

Az intézkedés hatálya egyelőre 15 napra szól San Pedro Sula és Choloma városokban, ahol az államfői bejelentés szerint a következő 24 órában számos razziát, ellenőrzést és letartóztatást fognak végrehajtani a hatóságok.
Xiomara Castro a Twitter-oldalán közölte azt is, hogy 800 ezer argentin lempira nyomravezetői díjat tűznek ki „a vérengzések elkövetőinek” elfogására.
Cholomában a helyi sajtó beszámolója szerint legkevesebb tizenegy embert gyilkoltak meg szombaton egy billiárdszalonban. Az El Heraldo című helyi lap úgy tudja, a régióban 21 embert öltek meg aznap, köztük egy nőt és csecsemőjét egy lakásban. Choloma és San Pedro Sula két, egymáshoz közel fekvő város az ország északnyugati felében található Sula-völgyben.
Kedden 46 fegyenc vesztette életét a fővárostól, Tegucigalpától mintegy 35 kilométerre északnyugatra található Támara női fegyintézetében rivális bandatagok között kitört véres börtönlázadásban. A történtekre válaszul a kormány elrendelte, hogy a hondurasi katonai rendőrség vegye át a közép-amerikai ország börtöneinek irányítását.

A Beregszászi Kerületi Ügyészség értesítette az ellene indult eljárásról azt a beregszászi férfit, aki az elmúlt héten gyilkosságot követett el.
Június 11-én éjjel bejelentés érkezett a beregszászi rendőrkapitányságra a mentőszolgálat orvosától, miszerint a város egyik utcáján felfedeztek egy holttestet. Az orvos elmondása szerint az áldozatot valószínűleg meggyilkolták. A helyszínre kiérkezett az operatív csoport, akik szintén erőszakos halál nyomait fedezték fel az áldozat testén, s azonnal megkezdték a nyomozást az ügyben. Néhány órán belül letartóztatták a gyanúsítottat. Mint kiderült, a 73 éves áldozat a tettesnél vendégeskedett, alkoholt fogyasztottak. A két férfi között vita alakult ki, melynek során a 63 éves férfi több ütést is lemért vendége fejére, testét kivonszolta az utcára és egy bokor mögé rejtette.
Az ügyben folynak a vizsgálatok, a bíróság döntése szerint a tettes óvadék letétele ellenében sem védekezhet szabadlábon.

Június 11-én éjjel bejelentés érkezett a beregszászi rendőrkapitányságra a mentőszolgálat orvosától, miszerint a város egyik utcáján felfedeztek egy holttestet. Az orvos elmondása szerint az áldozatot valószínűleg meggyilkolták.
A helyszínre kiérkezett az operatív csoport, akik szintén erőszakos halál nyomait fedezték fel az áldozat testén, s azonnal megkezdték a nyomozást az ügyben. Néhány órán belül letartóztatták a gyanúsítottat.
Mint kiderült, a 73 éves áldozat a tettesnél vendégeskedett, alkoholt fogyasztottak. A két férfi között vita alakult ki, melynek során a 63 éves férfi több ütést is lemért vendége fejére, testét kivonszolta az utcára és egy bokor mögé rejtette.
A rendőrség a házkutatás során számos tárgyi bizonyítékot talált, az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult. A tettesre 15 év börtönbüntetés is várhat.
