Egy napon belül két tűzesetről is érkezett bejelentés a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatáta beregszászi kirendeltséghez.
Az első eset a Fodó Sándor utcában történt, ahol egy melléképüleben keletkezett tűz. A szomszédok észlelték a füstöt, és értesítették a hatóságokat. Előzetes információk szerint a tulajdonos a jószágoknak főzött ételt a tűzhelyen, felügyelet nélkül hagyta, s valószínűleg ez lehetett a tűz forrása.
A második tűzeset este történt a Szabó Kálmán utcában, ahol egy lakóház tetője gyulladt meg. Mielőtt a tűzoltók megérkeztek volna, a helyiek saját erőből próbálták megfékezni a lángokat.
A tűz következtében a tetőszerkezet részben megsemmisült.

A napokban bejelentés érkezett a rendőrségre egy verekedésről Beregszász romatelepén.
A Beregszászi Járási Rendőrség operatív nyomozócsoportja azonnal elindult a hívásra. A helyszínen kiderítették, hogy a telep két lakója rossz viszony miatt provokált konfliktust egy 62 éves szomszéddal. Az elkövetők odarohantak a sértetthez, felváltva baseballütővel és bottal ütötték különböző testrészein. Amikor a férfi elesett és eszméletét vesztette, a támadók ismeretlen irányba menekültek. A 62 éves sérült férfit azonnal az intenzív osztályra szállították. Szombaton reggel a férfi meghalt a kórházban.
A rendőrök azonosították a bűncselekményben érintett személyeket. Jelenleg a felkutatásukra és letartóztatásukra irányuló intézkedések folynak. Az elkövetőket akár 10 év börtön is fenyegeti.

A mai napon, 2024. szeptember 13-án délben bombariadót hirdettek a Kárpátaljai Megyei Magyar Drámai Színház épületében, amely Beregszászban a Munkácsi úton található – tájékoztatott a színház a Facebook-oldalán.
A rendőrség kiérkező munkatársai arról tájékoztatták Sin Edina megbízott igazgatót, hogy ismeretlen telefonálótól bejelentést kaptak a 102-es hívószámra, miszerint robbanószerkezet van a színházban, ezért az épületet azonnal evakuálták.
Hamarosan ungvári és munkácsi tűzszerészek, valamint egy tűzszerész kutya vizsgálta át a létesítményt, miközben a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata (DSZNSZ) és két mentőautó biztosította a helyszínt az ilyenkor szokásos előírásoknak megfelelően, ám a bejelentés hamisnak bizonyult, nem találtak robbanószerkezetet az épületben.

A beregszászi bíróság 10 év börtönbüntetésre ítélte a férfit, aki Beregszász központjában gyilkolta meg ismerősét.
Az eset 2023 októberében történt. Október 15-én bejelentés érkezett a rendőrséghez, miszerint egy holttestre bukkantak Beregszász központjában, a Bohdan Hmeljnickij utcán.
A hatóságok a helyszínre kiérkezve megállapították, hogy a hölgy erőszakos halál áldozata lett. Több személyt is kihallgattak, megnézték a térfigyelő kamerák felvételeit, melyek alapján sikerült azonosítani a tettest. Mint kiderült a 20 éves fiatalember és a 39 éves hölgy italozott, melynek során a férfi közeledni próbált a nőhöz, aki viszont ellenállt. A tettes ekkor eltörte a kezében lévő sörösüveget és nyakon szúrta vele az áldozatot.
A tettest azonnal letartóztatták, azóta őrizetben volt. A hírt a megyei ügyészség sajtószolgálata közölte.

A tetteseket letartóztatták, a lopott tárgyakat lefoglalták. Az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult, akár 10 év börtönbüntetés is várhat az elkövetőkre.

A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának (DSZNSZ) munkatársait a helyi lakosok értesítették a történtekről. A Rover típusú jármű a város központjában parkolt. A tűzoltók kiérkezéséig az ott lévő járókelők önerőből próbálták megfékezni a lángokat, a tűzoltók pedig 4 perc alatt teljesen eloltották a tüzet.
A lángok a szalon, a műszerfalat tették tönkre, a motortér ép maradt. A tűz kitörésének okát vizsgálják.
