Tavaly novemberben az Egyesült Államok Bevándorlási és Vámügyi Hivatala (ICE) 50 ukrán állampolgárt, 45 férfit és 5 nőt toloncolt ki az országból, a férfiak többségét az ukrán hatóságok azonnal a területi toborzási és szociális támogatási központba (TCK) szállították, és besorozták az ukrán fegyveres erőkbe – számolt be pénteken az rbc.ua hírportál a CNN amerikai tévécsatornára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a kitoloncolás után az ukránokat Lengyelországba szállították, majd az illetékes szolgálatok felügyelete alatt átlépték az ukrán határt. Az otthon talált személyek között volt Volodimir Dudnik is, akit a határátlépés után szinte azonnal egy katonai kiképzőközpontba küldtek. „Amikor a repülőn ültem Ukrajnába tartva, tudtam, mi vár rám. De reméltem, hogy talán engedélyezik a hazatérést. Minden még gyorsabban történt, mint gondoltam. Nem értem haza, még nem láttam a szüleimet” – mondta.
Dudnik 51 napot töltött kiképzőtáborban, majd több hetes drónkezelői kiképzésen vett részt. Jelenleg Kelet-Ukrajnában harcol, az Amerika hívójelet használva. Az Ukrán Állami Határőrszolgálat a CNN-nek azt nyilatkozta, hogy a 45 férfi közül 24 körözés alatt állt, ezért a TCK-ba vitték őket. A körözött státusz azokra vonatkozik, akik nem frissítették katonai nyilvántartási adataikat, vagy megsértették a mozgósítási szabályokat. A tévécsatorna megjegyezte, hogy a Védelmi Minisztérium adatai szerint jelenleg körülbelül 2 millió embert köröznek a mozgósítás elkerülése miatt.

Az amerikai bevándorlási hatóságok őrizetbe vettek brit kommentátort, visszavonták a vízumát, és kijelentették, hogy ki fogják toloncolni, ahelyett, hogy befejezhetné előadókörútját az Egyesült Államokban – közölte vasárnap a Belbiztonsági Minisztérium egyik tisztviselője.
Sami Hamdit a Bevándorlási és Vámügyi Hatóság (ICE) vette őrizetbe – írta Tricia McLaughlin, a minisztérium szóvivője az X-en. „Trump elnök alatt azok, akik támogatják a terrorizmust és aláássák az amerikai nemzetbiztonságot, nem dolgozhatnak és nem látogathatnak ebbe az országba” – jelentette ki.
Mint a CNN írja, Hamdi szombaton beszédet tartott az Amerikai Iszlám Kapcsolatok Tanácsának (CAIR) a gáláján a kaliforniai Sacramentóban, és vasárnap is beszélni akart a szervezet egyik floridai rendezvényén. A CAIR szerint Hamdit a San Francisco-i nemzetközi repülőtéren vették őrizetbe.
Konzervatív személyiségek korábban sürgették a Trump-kormányt, hogy utasítsa ki Hamdit az Egyesült Államokból. A Trump elnök bizalmasának számító Laura Loomer influencer magának vindikálta Hamdi őrizetbe vételét.
Hamdi elemzőként és kommentátorként szerepelt brit televíziós csatornákon. A – sokak szerint egyébként szintén szésőséges – CAIR vasárnap felszólította a kormányt, hogy engedje szabadon, és azzal vádolta a Trump-kormányt, hogy a férfit az izraeli kormányt bíráló kijelentései miatt tartja fogva.
Azt egyelőre nem tudni, mely kommentárja vezetett az amerikai hatóságok drasztikus lépéséhez.
A közel-keleti szélsőséges megnyilvánulásokat monitorozó MEMRI szerint ugyanakkor Hamdi 2023 decemberében, egy londoni mecsetben felszólította a hallgatóit, hogy „ünnepeljék meg” a Hamász október 7-i „győzelmét”, és megkérdezte tőlük, „hányan éreztek eufóriát”, amikor hallottak a Hamász támadásáról, amelynek során a terroristák mintegy 1200 embert öltek meg és 251 embert ejtettek túszul.

A lengyel hatóságok kiutasították azt a 21 éves ukrán állampolgárt, aki drónt reptetett kormányzati épületek felett Varsóban – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a Polsat News lengyel tévécsatornára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a lengyel médium megjegyezte, hogy egy 21 éves ukrán férfit, aki drónt indított a Belvedere-palota és kormányzati épületek fölé, a légtérszabályok megsértésével vádoltak meg, amiért akár öt év börtönbüntetésre is számíthatott. Önként beleegyezett a büntetésbe, és 4000 zloty bírságot fizetett.
A fiút később átadták a lengyel határőröknek a kitoloncolási kérelemmel együtt. Egy 17 éves fehérorosz állampolgárt, aki az ukrán társa volt a drónröptetés idején, tanúként kihallgattak, majd szabadon engedtek.
A Polsat News emlékeztetett arra, hogy a lengyel különleges szolgálatok nem találtak bizonyítékot kémkedésre vagy az ukrán külföldi hírszerző szolgálatokkal való esetleges együttműködésére.
„Cáfoljuk azokat a pletykákat, miszerint ez valamiféle nagyszabású kémkedési művelet. Ebben a szakaszban senki sem állíthatja ezt egyértelműen. Fiatalokról van szó. Talán a gondatlanság, talán a tudatlanság megnyilvánulása volt, talán csak valami filmet akartak készíteni” – mondta Jacek Dobrzyński, a különleges szolgálatok koordinátorának sajtótitkára.

Lengyelország vasárnap kiutasított egy ukrán állampolgárt, aki gyújtogatással fenyegetőzött a lengyel elnök vétója miatt – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál Marcin Kerwinski lengyel belügyminiszter X-en közzétett posztjára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Kerwinski azt írta: „A történetnek itt a vége: egy ukrán állampolgárt, aki az internetre feltöltött videókban gyújtogatással fenyegetőzött, a határőrök kényszerrel elvittek és Ukrajnába toloncoltak.” A miniszter egy videót is bemutatott az ukrán állampolgár ukrán határőröknek történő átadásáról.
A férfit augusztus 29-én vették őrizetbe egy TikTok videó miatt. Az ügy előzménye, hogy augusztus 25-én Karol Nawrocki lengyel elnök megvétózta a Szejm által elfogadott törvényjavaslatot, amely szociális támogatást biztosított az ukrán állampolgároknak.

Kitoloncolták Törökországból a BBC riporterét, aki az isztambuli polgármester letartóztatása miatt kirobbant tüntetésekről tudósított – adta hírül a brit közmédia.
Ekrem Imamoglu isztambuli polgármestert Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök legfőbb politikai riválisának tekintik, ő az ellenzéki Köztársasági Néppárt jelöltje a 2028-as elnökválasztásra. Múlt héten korrupciós vádakkal letartóztatták, ő viszont tagadja bűnösségét. Az Imamoglu letartóztatása miatt kirobbant tüntetéseket a kormány törvénytelennek minősítette, és már több mint 1400 embert őrizetbe vettek.
Köztük volt Mark Lowen, a BBC munkatársa is, akit szerdán a szállodából vittek el a hatóságok, csütörtökön pedig írásos értesítést kapott arról, hogy kitoloncolják, mert „veszélyezteti a közrendet”. A riporter közölte: rendkívül megrázónak tartja, hogy letartóztatták és kiutasították abból az országból, ahol korábban öt évig élt. „A sajtószabadság és a pártatlan tudósítás minden demokrácia számára alapvető fontosságú” – tette hozzá.
A BBC hírigazgatója, Deborah Turness tapasztalt riporterként nyilatkozott Lowenről, akinek mély ismeretei vannak Törökországról. „Egyetlen újságírónak sem szabadna ilyen bánásmódban részesülni pusztán azért, mert végzi a munkáját. Továbbra is pártatlanul és tisztességesen beszámolunk a törökországi eseményekről” – jelentette ki, egyúttal közölte, hogy lépéseket fognak tenni a török hatóságoknál.

Kisebb diplomáciai botrány alakult ki Párizs és Washington közt, mivel az USA deportált egy francia tudóst néhány hete: a franciák szerint azért történt ez, mert a szakember keményen kritizálta Donald Trump amerikai elnököt elektronikus üzenetváltások során.
Az amerikai Nemzetbiztonsági Minisztérium (DHS) viszont most azt állítja: Egyáltalán nem erről volt szó, a francia tudós titkos dokumentumokat próbált kivinni az Egyesült Államokból.
„A francia kutató bizalmas információkat tárolt az elektronikus eszközén, amely a Los Alamos Nemzeti Laboratóriumból származott. Ezzel megsértette a titoktartási szerződést, megpróbálta ezt elrejteni és elismerte, hogy engedély nélkül vette el a dokumentumokat” – kommentálta a szervezet szóvivője.
Franciaország erre az információra még nem reagált. Annyit tudni csak biztosan, hogy a tudós elektronikus eszközeit elkobozták tőle, majd deportálták Amerikából.

Egy francia kutatót kitiltottak az Egyesült Államokból, miután a határőrök átvizsgálták telefonját és abban a Trump-adminisztrációt bíráló üzeneteket találtak. Franciaország kutatási minisztere aggodalmát fejezte ki az eset miatt, és kiállt a kutatói szabadság mellett.
Philippe Baptiste, Franciaország felsőoktatási és kutatási minisztere hétfőn közölte, hogy egy francia tudóst, aki a Francia Nemzeti Tudományos Kutatóközpont (CNRS) megbízásából érkezett, végül nem engedték be az Egyesült Államokba. A kutató egy Houston közelében rendezett konferenciára tartott, amikor a repülőtéren átvizsgálták telefonját és olyan üzeneteket találtak, amelyekben kritikát fogalmazott meg a Trump-adminisztráció kutatási politikájáról.
A véleményszabadság, a szabad kutatás és az akadémiai szabadság olyan értékek, amelyeket továbbra is büszkén fogunk védelmezni – jelentette ki Baptiste a Le Monde által is közölt nyilatkozatában.
Diplomáciai források szerint az incidens március 9-én történt. Az amerikai hatóságok a The Guardian információi szerint „gyűlöletkeltő és összeesküvés-elméleteket tartalmazó üzenetekkel” vádolták a francia kutatót, és tájékoztatták egy FBI-vizsgálatról is, bár később közölték, hogy ejtették a vádakat.
Láncfűrésszel a tudomány ellen
Baptiste miniszter korábban nyíltan bírálta a Trump-adminisztrációt és Elon Muskot a tudományos költségvetések jelentős csökkentése miatt. Az eset napján nyílt levélben hívta az amerikai kutatókat Franciaországba, kiemelve, hogy „számos ismert kutató már most megkérdőjelezi jövőjét az Egyesült Államokban”.

Kiutasítottak egy 18 éves ukrán diáklányt Svédországból, miközben a vele egykorú, többszörösen elítélt szíriai migránsnak nem vonják meg a tartózkodási engedélyét a svéd hatóságok – írja a V4NA a Samnytt svéd hírportálra hivatkozva. A 18 éves diáklány a középiskola utolsó félévét tölti, és ápolónőnek tanul, miközben a 2018-ban Svédországba érkezett szíriai bevándorlót terrorizmus vádjával tartják őrizetben.
„Ez sokkoló! Itt éltél és itt van az egész életed, és akkor ilyen rövid idő alatt dönthetnek az egész életedről” – nyilatkozta az ukrán diáklány.
Mindeközben Faris Al Abdullah 2018 januárjában érkezett Szíriából Svédországba, az apját is elítélték testi sértésért és embercsempészetért, mégsem bírálták felül a család menekültstátuszát. Továbbá Faris Al Abdullah már svéd állampolgár, nem számít, hogy azóta több súlyos bűncselekményt is elkövetett.
