Mindez természetesen törvénytelen és a pénzbírságok 20 ezer lejig (átszámítva körülbelül másfél millió forintig) terjednek ilyen esetekben, sőt, még a teherautót is elkobozhatják az illetékes hatóságok. A baj csak az, hogy senki nem értesítette a környezetvédelmi őrséget a történtekről.
Szerencsére a felvétel a sajtó révén eljutott a zöld hatósághoz is, akik most épp keresik a felelőtlen sofőrt – írja a Főtér.

A Fekete-tenger orosz partvidékén, Novorosszijszk közelében nyolcvan négyzetkilométerre terjedt ki egy olajfolt – jelentette az orosz tudományos akadémia, műholdfelvételekre hivatkozva szerdán.
A környezetszennyezés a hétvégén történt, amikor a görög zászló alatt közlekedő Minerva Symphony tartályhajó olajat vételezett a Kaszpi-tengeri Csővezeték-konzorcium Juzsnaja Ozerejevka-i tengeri termináljánál.
A konzorcium, amely Kazahsztánból szállít olajat, hétfőn azt állította, hogy 12 köbméter olaj folyt ki 200 négyzetméteren, valamint hogy a szivárgást gyorsan megszüntették, és az nem jelent veszélyt sem az emberre, sem az élővilágra.
Az akadémia szerint viszont az olajfolt már vasárnap 19 kilométerre benyúlt a nyílt tengerre, és területe elérte a 80 négyzetkilométert.
Viktorija Abramcsenko miniszterelnök-helyettes utasította az állami környezetvédelmi felügyeletet (Roszprirodnazor), hogy mérje fel a baleset valós nagyságát és hatását.

A Környezetvédelmi Minisztérium bejelentette, számos koronavírus elleni gyógyszer maradványait találták az ukrán folyók vízmintáiban.
A COVID-19 kezelésére használt gyógyszerek maradványait találták Ukrajna folyóiban, jelentette be Mihajlo Horev, a Környezetvédelmi Minisztérium helyettes vezetője a Budinok Tv-csatorna adásában augusztus 1-én.
A miniszterhelyettes közölte, a közelmúltban végezték el Ukrajna három, a lakosság vízellátását biztosító fő folyója – Dnyeper, Dnyeszter és Sziverszkij Donyec – vizének elemzését (szűrését).
„A vizet 3200 anyag felfedése céljából ellenőriztük, ez célirányos szűrés, vagyis van egy konkrét listája, és azokat az anyagokat keresik. A vizet 64 000 anyag kapcsán is megvizsgálták – ezt csak kísérleti céllal, jelen vannak az anyagok, vagy sem. Az eredményeknek megfelelően, valóban tartalmaznak szennyező anyagokat” – magyarázta Horev.
„Kiderült, hogy az ukrán vizekben nagyon nagy mennyiségben cink, nem túl nagy mennyiségben peszticidek találhatóak. Fémeket is regisztráltak, higany gyakorlatilag nincs a vízben. Gyógyszerek nyomait is felfedték a vízben.
Sok a koronavírus elleni gyógyszer, azok, amelyeket a COVID jegyzőkönyv tartalmaz, és ezek az anyagok vannak jelenleg a vízben. Regisztráltuk. Mindnyájan szedünk gyógyszert. Sok embert gyógykezelnek, és ez bekerül a vízbe. Európában ugyanez a helyzet. Az európaiak egyértelműen úgy vélik: ha gyógyszerek kerülnek a vízbe, az azt jelenti, hogy a tisztítóberendezések nem működnek megfelelően. Európában korszerűsítettek a tisztítóberendezések, de vannak régiek is” – tette hozzá Horev.
Ugyanakkor a tisztviselő megjegyezte, nagyon nagy probléma a mosószerek előállításához használt foszfátok jelenléte a vízben.
„Először is nehéz semlegesíteni, éppen ezért folyamatosan a szennyvízben vannak, mivel a tisztítóberendezések nem tudnak megbirkózni velük. A világon két módja van a foszfátok elleni küzdelemnek: vagy drága tisztítóberendezések építése, vagy megtiltani a mosószerek használatát” – mondta a Környezetvédelmi Minisztérium helyettes vezetője.
Ukrajna viszont más utat választott – korlátozásokat vezetett be a foszfáttartalmú termékek használatára, viszont az intézkedések 2023-tól lépnek hatályba.

A jelenség nem teljesen új, a tavak máskor is öltöttek már rózsaszínes árnyalatot, ezúttal azonban különösen élénk rózsaszínben pompázik például a Corfo nevű lagúna. Környezetvédők szerint a Chubut tartományban, Trelew várostól harminc kilométerre fekvő tavak színe azért változik meg, mert a térségben működő halászati üzemek beléjük ürítik szennyvizüket, benne az elszíneződést okozó nátrium-szulfit tartósítószert.
A szokásosnál is nagyobb elszíneződést az okozhatta, hogy a tartományi fővárosban, Rawsonban működő, főleg homárt és tőkehalat exportáló halfeldolgozók, az ottani lakosság lázongása miatt jelenleg nem tudnak a szokásos helyen megszabadulni szennyvizüktől, így azok is a Corfóba és a közelében fekvő másik sekély tóba ürítik hulladékukat, ahelyett, hogy egy távolabb fekvő szennyvíztelepre szállítanák, vagy a közelben létesítenének víztisztítót.
A bűzt és a rovarokat megelégelő rawsoniak torlaszokkal állják útját a szennyvizet szállító kamionoknak, napi több tucat szállítmánynak, amelyet minden kezelés nélkül engednek ki a környékbeli vízfolyásokba és tócsákba.
Az aktivisták amiatt is aggódnak, hogy a szennyvízben lévő kemikáliák beszivárognak a talajvízbe is. A halfeldolgozók szennyvizét szállító kamionok ügye a környezetvédelemért folytatott küzdelem szimbóluma lett a tartomány fővárosában.
A dél-argentínai Chubut tartomány mezőgazdaságból, élelmiszeriparból, halászatból és turizmusból él, híres a Tombo-fokon élő bálnákról és pingvinekről.

Tömegesen pusztulnak a halak a Duna egyik mellékfolyóján, a Garam középső szakaszán egy biogázállomás kiömlött fermentációs hulladéka miatt − közölte a Ma7. A hírt megerősítette a helyi horgászszövetség és a biogázállomás vezetője is.
A víz zavaros és büdös volt, a döglött halak pedig a víz tetején úsztak. A horgászok jelentették az esetet a hatóságoknak, ezt követően a környezetvédelmi felügyelet és a rendőrség is a helyszínre érkezett.
A fermentációs folyadék egy vihar után került bele a folyó vizébe, amikor rádőlt egy fa a tartályra, ami megsérült. Az erős esőzés mintegy négyszáz köbméter hulladékot mosott egy közeli patakba, innen a folyóba került.
A folyóból Bezeréte környékén mintegy hatszáz kilogramm haltetemet szedtek ki a horgászok. Garamszentkeresztnél is sok döglött halat találtak. A pusztulás a környéken élő fajok mindegyikét érintette. A horgászok szerint ez egy ökológiai katasztrófa, aminek a kiheverésére több évre lesz szükség.

Srí Lankán egy hajóbaleset után több száz teknőstetemet sodort partra a víz. Az ország történetének legsúlyosabb, ember okozta környezetvédelmi katasztrófájaként könyvelték el az esetet a szakértők.
A Szingapúrban regisztrált, X-Press Pearl nevet viselő konténerhajó május 20-án gyulladt ki. Fedélzetén 1486 konténert szállított, bennük többek között 25 tonnányi salétromsav, valamint más kémiai anyagok és kozmetikumok. Június 2-án süllyedt el, amikor egy mentőcsapat megpróbálta elvontatni a partok közeléből, írja a The Guardian online kiadása.
A hajó orosz kapitánya csütörtökön jelent meg a bíróság előtt, de vádemelés még nem történt. A vízbe került méreganyagok megöltek 176 teknőst, 20 delfint és négy bálnát – közölte a helyettes ügyész a héten meghallgatáson a bíróságon.
Egy helyi televízió felvételeket készített a partra mosódó tetemekről, a nagy mennyiségű műanyag granulátumról és az önkéntesekről, akik megpróbálják megtisztítani a partot. A rakomány jelentős része műanyagalapú volt – mondta Mahinda Amaraweera környezetvédelmi miniszter.
A legtöbb tetemet a nyugati partnál találták, a hajókatasztrófa által közvetlenül érintett területen.
A kormány 15 embert nevezett meg társvádlottként az ügyben. A hatóságok az elmúlt héten megszüntették a halászati tilalmat az érintett területeken, holott szakértők szerint a tengeri élővilágot érintő veszélyek nem múltak el.

Történelmének egyik legnagyobb környezeti válságát éli Srí Lanka, egy hajótűz következtében milliárdnyi műanyagdarabka lepte el a tengerpartokat.
Az MV X-Press Pearl nevű konténerhajón kialakult tüzet a hétvégén ugyan sikerült eloltani, de a rakomány jó része azóta a tengerpartokon kötött ki, a nyugati partvidék mérföldeken át most a videón látható módon néz ki.
A dél-ázsiai ország katonasága több mint egy hét után tudta megfékezni a tüzet a hajón, ezalatt az idő alatt pedig a műanyag rakomány fekete füsttel égett, beszennyezve a vizeket és a partokat. A kormányzat 80 kilométeres körzetben megtiltotta a halászatot, ami eleve érezhető csapás az ország gazdaságának (az éves GDP kb. 2%-át adja a halászat), de a partokon felgyülemlett műanyaghegyek eltakarítása sem lesz egyszerű feladat, tekintve, hogy a katasztrófától még 120 km-re délre is eljutottak az apró műanyagdarabok.

A szigetország lakosságának körében komoly felháborodást váltottak ki a népszerű turistacélpont, Negombo strandjain készült felvételek.
A népszerű strandokon ugyanis mindent olaj, és a több mint egy hete kigyulladt tartályhajóról származó törmelék borít. A szingapúri bejegyzésű X-Press Pearl vegyszereket és kozmetikumokat szállított, és már több, mint egy hete ég.
A Srí Lanka-i haditengerészet az indiai haditengerészettel, és katasztrófavédelmi szakértőkkel együttműködve próbálja meg felszámolni a súlyos környezeti katasztrófával fenyegető károkat.
Mivel a hajó lassan süllyed, félő, hogy több száz tonna olaj szivároghat a tengerbe, ami komoly káros hatással lehet a tengeri életre.
A helyi tisztviselők szerint nagyban nehezíti a mentési munkálatokat, hogy a tengernek azon szakaszán napok óta hatalmas szél tombol.
Azon kívül, hogy Negombó népszerű turisztikai célpont, sokak számára a halászat jelenti a megélhetést, de jelenleg a hatalmas mennyiségű olaj miatt nem tudnak kifutni a halászhajók.
A Srí Lanka-i Tengeri Környezetvédelmi Hatóság (MEPA) elnöke, Dharshani Lahandapura az AFP hírügynökségnek elmondta, hogy személyzet korábban salétromsav-szivárgásról számolt be, még mielőtt az X-Press Pearl belépett volna Srí Lanka-i vizekre, és a tűz elkerülhető lett volna, ha a hatóságok időben cselekednek.
A hatóságok őrizetbe vették a hajó kapitányát, akit kedden a legénység többi tagjával együtt mentettek ki. Őt azzal vádolják, hogy nem jelentette időben a hajón keletkezett tüzet. Az X-Press Shipping, a hajót birtokló szingapúri társaság megerősítette, hogy a legénység tudatában volt a szivárgásnak, de ugyanakkor azt állítják, hogy Katar és India sem adott engedélyt nekik arra, hogy a tűz kitörésekor azonnal kiköthessenek.
Az X-Press Pearl nevű hajó május 15-én hajózott ki a nyugat-indiai Hazira kikötőjéből, fedélzetén 1486 konténernyi salétromsavval és egyéb vegyi anyagokkal, kozmetikumokkal, és május 20-án, Colombo partjainál adott le vészjelzést.

Ismeretlenek több mint egy köbméter lejárt gyógyszert dobtak a romániai Kolozsvárt ivóvízzel ellátó Tarnica víztározóba. A Kolozs megyei közegészségügyi igazgatóság szerdán leállíttatta a Szamos Vízügyi Társaság tarnicai vízbefogását.
A hatóságokat kedden riasztotta a Kolozs megyei védett területekért felelős hegyimentő szolgálat illetékese, aki a vízben úszó gyógyszeres dobozokra lett figyelmes.
Viorel Plesa főfelügyelő, a Környezetvédelmi Őrség Kolozs megyei felügyelőségének vezetője az MTI-nek elmondta: egy és két köbméter közötti az a gyógyszermennyiség, amit sikerült összegyűjteniük a tó partjáról és a vízből. A főfelügyelő valószínűsítette, hogy a tó partján haladó megyei útról egy gépkocsiból dobták ki a veszélyes hulladékot, amelynek egy része a meredek, erdős hegyoldalon begurulva a vízig jutott. Hozzátette: négy féle német gyártmányú, 2019-ben és 2020-ban lejárt gyógyszert találtak a helyszínen.
A főfelügyelő szerencsés körülménynek nevezte, hogy az összegyűjtött gyógyszerek műanyag fóliája sértetlen maradt, így a veszélyes hulladéknak csak a csomagolása érintkezett a tó vizével. Hozzátette: a vízügyi hatóság vízmintákat vett a tóból, de nem észlelte nyomát a gyógyszerszennyezésnek. Az ügyben nyomozás indult.
A Szamos Vízügyi Társaság a Meleg-Szamos víztározóiból látja el ivóvízzel Kolozs és Szilágy megye jelentős részét. A tarnicai vízbefogó ideiglenes lezárása után a vizet a Tarnica alatt fekvő melegszamosi víztározóból biztosítja.
A Környezetvédelmi Őrség 2020 májusától nemcsak bírságot róhat ki a szemetelőkre, hanem el is kobozhatja azt a járművet, amellyel hulladékot szállítanak. Az őrség szerdán közölte, hogy 30 ezer lej bírságot rótt ki, és el is kobozta azt a furgont, amellyel a székelyföldi Szentegyházán mintegy 2,5 tonna, autóbontóból származó hulladékot szállítottak kísérő dokumentumok nélkül.

Ismeretlen eredetű olajfolt szennyezte be Izrael teljes földközi-tengeri partvonalát – számolt be az MTI a helyi médiára hivatkozva.
A mentesítési munkálatokba önkéntesek százai kapcsolódtak be, miközben egyelőre még tart annak a vizsgálata, hogy honnan származhat a tengerpartot és az élővilágot fenyegető olajszennyezés. Az önkéntesek közül néhányat kórházba kellett szállítani az olajfolt veszélyes párájának belélegzése miatt.
Az északi Haifától a Gázai övezethez közeli Askelón városáig fekete csíkok voltak láthatók az ország földközi-tengeri partvonalán. A híradások az elmúlt évtizedek legsúlyosabb izraeli környezetszennyezéseként számoltak be a történtekről.
Az északi Hadera környékén lévő Gador természetvédelmi területnél
a kátrányos anyag halakat, teknősöket és más tengeri lényeket borított be. Az önkéntesek ezeket próbálták megtisztítani a szennyeződéstől.
Médiajelentések szerint a hatóságok hozzákezdtek az érintett területek feltérképezéséhez.
