A hatóságok este fél nyolc körül hatoltak be az otthonba, ám akkor már csak a nő és három gyermek holttestét találták meg, akiknek kora feltehetően a néhány hónapostól körülbelül 11 éves korig terjedt. A rendőrség elárulta, a helyszínen találtak egy kézifegyvert is, a tragédiát pedig gyilkosság-öngyilkosságként vizsgálják.

Minden előzetes szóváltás vagy bármilyen ok nélkül a metró alá lökött egy 52 éves nőt egy afrikai migráns Párizsban. A nő – akit nem is ismert – meghalt. A gyilkost órákkal később fogták el, mert lopott egy boltban. Akkor azonosították.
A szemtanúk szerint afrikai férfi pénteken délelőtt fél tíz körül lökte a RER síneire a párizsi Cité Universitaire állomáson a nőt – írja a Le Figaro. A RER egy párizsi elővárosi gyorsvasúthálózat, amely egyfajta átmenet a HÉV és a metró között, a RER vonatok részben használják is a metróvonalakat.
A nő súlyosan megsérült, de ekkor még felállt, megpróbált kimászni, de már nem tudott, az érkező szerelvény halálra gázolta. A gyilkos migráns elfutott.
A rendőrök nem sokkal délután négy óra előtt Párizs egyik külvárosában, Vitry-sur-Seine-ben fogták el, mert lopott egy boltból. Ezután bevallotta, hogy ő követte el a reggeli gyilkosságot.
A bestiális gyilkosságot felvették a RER biztonsági kamerái, így a bizonyítékok egyértelműek.
A gyilkosság július 14-én, a francia nemzeti ünnepen történt. A nyolc napig tartó, néhány napja véget ért migránslázadás miatt az ünnepi eseményeket egyébként 45 ezer rendőr biztosítja. A francia hírtelevíziók szerint a gyilkos afrikai migráns azt mondta: nem ismerte az áldozatát, semmi oka nem volt annak, hogy megölte – egyszerűen gyilkolni akart.

Holtan találták moszkvai lakásában a korábbi regionális kormányzó, a néhai Vaszilij Bocskarev lányát, a 44 éves Natalia Bocskarevet. A nő már a halála előtti napon rosszul érezte magát.
A The Sun információi szerint a rendőrséget a ház portása riasztotta, miután jó ideje nem tapasztalt mozgást Natalia Bocskareva lakása körül. A rendőrök a helyszínre érve betörték a lakás bejárati ajtaját, ahol azonnal megtalálták a nő holttestét.

A CBS News jelentése szerint egy 6 éves kisfiú szerda este két lövést is leadott egyéves öccsére Detroitban. Charles Fitzgerald detroiti rendőrfőnök-helyettes egy szerdai sajtótájékoztatón megosztotta, a csecsemő valószínűleg túléli, miután az arcán és bal vállán érték a lövések.
A rendőrség közlése szerint a szülők egy töltött, félautomata fegyvert hagytak a házban, miközben az anya az utcában volt, az apa pedig a hátsó udvarban tartózkodott más gyermekekkel és egy nagybácsival.
Charles Fitzgerald az érthetetlen eset kapcsán ismételten felhívta a lakosság figyelmét:
„Túl gyakran kell beszélnünk itt a fegyverek biztosításáról. Vannak fegyverzárak, vannak fegyverszekrények, vannak a legmagasabb polcok, amiket csak találni lehet a házban. Tegyétek a fegyvert olyan magasra, amilyen magasra csak tudjátok.”
Szakértők szerint az ilyen jellegű lövöldözések könnyedén elkerülhetőek lennének, ha az emberek biztonságosan tárolnák fegyvereiket: az Egyesült Államok 26 államában vannak érvényben biztonságos tárolásra vagy a gyermekek hozzáférését megakadályozó törvények.
A CBS News jelentése szerint a biztonságos tárolásra vonatkozó törvények megkövetelik a tulajdonosoktól, hogy elzárják a lőfegyvereket, míg a gyermekek hozzáférését megakadályozó törvények csak akkor büntetik a fegyvertulajdonosokat, ha egy gyermek hozzáfér a lőfegyverhez.

A spanyol hatóságok 4,5 tonna kokaint foglaltak le a Kanári-szigeteknél egy togói zászló alatt közlekedő teherhajón, amely Latin-Amerikából érkezett – jelentette be a spanyol rendőrség szombaton.
Elmondták, hogy több mint két éve figyelték az Orion V nevű hajót, melyet többször is átkutattak már, de eddig a „megfelelő bizonyítékok” ellenére nem sikerült a fedélzeten kábítószerre bukkanni. Az áttörést egy légi egység érte el január 24-én. A hajó élő állatokat szállított a Közel-Keletre, a kokaint pedig az állatok etetéséhez használt silókban rejtették el.
Az akcióban a hajó teljes, 28 fős legénységét őrizetbe vették. A spanyol bűnüldöző szervek mellett az amerikai kábítószer-ellenes hatóság (DEA), a togói rendőrség is részt vett.
Január közepén egy ugyanekkora és ugyanígy togói zászló alatt hajózó teherszállítón ugyanekkora mennyiségű kokaint találtak, szintén a Kanári-szigetek közelében. Így januárban a spanyol hatóságok összesen 9 tonna kokaint foglaltak le.

Szándékosan lőtt tanárára a hatéves diák múlt pénteken egy tanórán Virginiában – közölt részleteket a Virginia állambeli Newport News rendőrfőnöke az esetről.
Steve Drew elmondta, nem véletlen balesetről van szó, hanem az első osztályos diák a tanórán egy hátizsákból vette elő a fegyvert, majd rálőtt a tanárára.
A tanárnőt, Abby Zwernert kórházban ápolják, állapota stabil, a gyerekek közül senki nem sérült meg.
A rendőrségi tájékoztatás szerint a fegyvert legálisan vásárolta a kisdiák édesanyja és tartotta otthonukban, ahonnan a gyerek bevitte az iskolába. Az is elhangzott, hogy a gyereket fizikai erővel kellett megfékeznie egy iskolai alkalmazottnak, majd a rendőrség őrizetbe vette.
Az eset közvetlen előzményeiről a nyomozás érdekében a hatóság nem adott tájékoztatást. Arról sem adtak információt, hogy a hatéves tettest jelenleg hol tartják.
A rendőrség korábban arról tájékoztatott, hogy az életkora miatt a bíróság nem kezeltheti felnőttként, és, ha elítélik, még ahhoz is túl kicsi, hogy fiatalkorúak börtönében, javítóintézetben töltse le a büntetést.
Az iskola vezetője közölte, hogy az intézmény, a Richneck Általános Iskola egész héten zárva tart.
A tanárnő felépüléséért hétfő este gyertyás virrasztást tartottak.
Newport News egy 186 ezres város Virginia állam keleti részén a James és a York folyók torkolatvidékén.

Abby Zwerner életveszélyes sérüléseket szenvedett, amikor pénteken rálőtt egy kisgyerek Newport News városában, a Richneck általános iskolában. A hatóságok szerint már javul a tanárnő állapota.
A település polgármestere, Phillip Jones a BBC-nek azt mondta, a tanárnő felépülése „pozitív irányba mutat”, vagyis Abby Zwerner már valamivel jobban van, de az állapota még mindig kritikus.
Azt továbbra sem tudni, hogy a tanárnőt lelövő hatéves gyerek hogyan jutott a fegyverhez. Az iskolában 550 diák van, akiket szúrópróbaszerűen fémdetektorokkal ellenőriznek, de nem vizsgálnak át mindig minden egyes gyereket.
Steve Drew rendőrfőnök egyelőre annyit mondott az esetről az újságíróknak, hogy a lövöldözést egy veszekedés előzte meg az elsősök osztálytermében, és a lövések szándékosnak tűntek.
Az egyik szülő, Steve Gonzalez, akinek gyermeke a lövöldözés idején az osztályteremben tartózkodott, a Fox Newsnak azt mondta, hogy a tanárnőnek, miután eltalálta a golyó, volt annyi lélekjelenléte, hogy üvöltsön a gyerekeknek, fussanak.
A polgármester – aki mindössze öt napja lépett hivatalba – elmondta, hogy a rendőrség továbbra is vizsgálja a lövöldözés körülményeit. „Nincs meg minden válaszunk arra, hogy egy hatéves gyermek hogyan tudta kezelni a lőfegyvert, vagy hogyan juthatott hozzá” – mondta, hozzátéve, hogy ez egy sötét nap a város történelmében.
A virginiai törvények értelmében, hatéveseket nem lehet bíróság elé állítani, és a gyermek ahhoz is kicsi, hogy a fiatalkorúak fogdájába kerüljön, ha bűnösnek találják. Ahhoz van joga a bíróságnak, hogy indokolt esetben állami felügyelet alá helyezze a kisfiút.
George Parker iskolai kerületi főfelügyelő szombaton azt mondta, hogy a lövöldözés megmutatta, hogy „nevelnünk kell a gyermekeinket, és biztonságban kell tartanunk őket”.
„Szükségünk van a közösség folyamatos támogatására annak érdekében, hogy a fegyverek ne legyenek elérhetőek a fiatalok számára, bár ez ma már úgy hangzik, mint egy beakadt lemez, mert folyamatosan ezt ismétlem: távol kell tartanunk a fegyvereket a gyerekeinktől” – tette hozzá.

A lövés akkor dördült el, amikor a gyerek és a harmincéves tanárnő egyedül voltak egy osztályteremben. A tanárnőt életveszélyes sérüléssel kórházban ápolják, az állapota javul.
Egyelőre még nem tudni az indítékot, illetve azt sem, hogyan került egy hatéves gyerek birtokába egy lőfegyver. A rendőrség megállapította, hogy a gyerek szándékosan lőtt, nem baleset történt.
Az iskolában még korábban felszereltek fémdetektoros beléptetőkapukat, de az eset idején nem voltak bekapcsolva.

Egy aggódó szomszéd bejelentésére vonultak ki a bajor rendőrök Bad Staffelstein egyik házához, ám amivel ott szembesültek, az mindenkit ledöbbentett.
A valamivel több mint 10 ezer lelket számláló Bad Staffelstein város egyik lakója tett bejelentést a rendőrségen, miután gyanússá vált számára, hogy rég látta szomszédját. Előtte ő maga is megpróbált utánajárni a dolgoknak, ám amikor benézett a ház ablakán, egy férfit látott a földön feküdni., ezért inkább értesítette a hatóságokat.
A helyszínre érkező rendőrök bejutottak a házba, majd nem sokkal később megerősítették, hogy az épület tulajdonosának holtteste hevert a földön, ám ezzel még nem ért véget a történet, ugyanis a ház átvizsgálása során a rendőrök egy újabb holttestre bukkantak.
A nyomozók a konyha átvizsgálásakor egy női holttestet találtak a fagyasztóban, aki az előzetes megállapítások szerint a férfi 70 éves édesanyja volt, közölte a helyi rendőrség szóvivője.
A boncolási jegyzőkönyv szerint mindkét haláleset természetes okokra vezethető vissza, a fagyasztóba rejtett nő pedig feltételezhetően néhány hónappal ezelőtt vesztette életét.
A nyomozók szerint a házban talált dokumentumokból az is kiderült, hogy a 45 éves férfi senkit sem értesített édesanyja haláláról, és otthon tartotta annak holttestét, hogy továbbra is megkapja a szociális juttatásokat, amelyeket a 70 éves asszony kapott.
