Az áradások miatt összeomlott egy vasúti híd Dél-Norvégiában, személyi sérülés nem történt, mivel a hidat a múlt heti esőzések idején lezárták – közölte a helyi rendőrség hétfőn.
A közleményben azt írták, hogy az Eidsvoll-Trondheim vasútvonalon található híd fémszerkezetének csaknem fele leomlott és a Lagen-folyóba esett, mert az egyik pillér az utóbbi napok jelentősen megemelkedett vízszintje miatt meggyengült – állt a közleményben. A híd a térségben leesett óriási mennyiségű eső miatt a múlt hét óta zárva volt.
A területet sújtó árvizeket és földcsuszamlásokat a Hans elnevezésű vihar okozta. Az ítéletidő először Svédországot érte el a múlt hét elején, majd nem sokkal később Norvégiát is. Több folyó kilépett a medréből, és ezreket kellett kitelepíteni a veszélyessé vált területekről.
A rossz idő a közlekedésben is fennakadásokat okozott; az ország délkeleti részén található Ringerike járás vezetése pedig azt jelentette, hogy hétfő délelőttig 920 lakosuk nem tudott hazatérni az útakadályok miatt.
Noha az ítéletidő sújtotta régiók többségében stabilizálódni látszik a helyzet, a meteorológiai előrejelzés szerint kedden ismét jelentős mennyiségű eső várható dél-kelet Norvégiában; ezért a hatóságok arra figyelmeztetik a lakosságot, hogy az további földcsuszamlásokat keletkezhetnek.

A napok óta tartó heves esőzés miatt a Braskereidfoss vízerőmű tározója megtelt. A Glama folyón található vízerőművet az árvíz miatt már korábban lekapcsolták.
Merete Hjertø, a védekezés egyik rendőri vezetője hangsúlyozza, hogy a folyó szintje tovább fog emelkedni, így most nem a gáttal foglalkozik a katasztrófavédelem, hanem az esetlegesen veszélyeztetett terület mentésével. Az elsődleges cél most, hogy az emberekre vigyázzanak a hatóságok.
A Frederik Thomson rendőrségi szóvivő elmondta, a tározó nyugati beton oldalán szerda délután átbukott a víz. A hatóságok most azt remélik, hogy a víz fokozatosan kiegyenlítődik.
„A víz fokozatosan elkezdett átszivárogni a gát oldalán, és egyelőre nem indokolt semmilyen intézkedést tenni az erőműnél” – mondta Thomson újságíróknak. Hozzátette, a helyzetet folyamatosan értékelik.
„A betonerőmű esetleges felrobbanásából származó kár olyan nagy lenne, hogy az nem szolgálná a célt” – mondta Thomson.
A vízerőmű gátján a zsilipeknek automatikusan és fokozatosan ki kellett volna nyílniuk, ahogy telik a tározó, azt egyelőre nem tudni, hogy miért nem nyíltak ki.
A közelben élő ezer embert már korábban evakuálták.
A viharok miatt közben Oslo északi részéről is több mint 600 embert kitelepítettek már. A helyzetet a rendőrség kaotikusnak nevezte. Szerdán Oslo és Trondheim között minden főutat lezártak. Aud Hove, Innlandet polgármestere elmondta, országos szintű válság alakult ki. Több település megközelíthetetlen, a mentők és tűzoltók nem tudnak eljutni a bajba jutottakhoz. Ráadásul a vihar még nem csillapodik, éjszakára újabb esőzéseket vár a norvég meteorológiai szolgálat.

Heves esőzések áztatták hétfőn Skandinávia déli részét, az ítéletidő miatt vonat siklott ki és utak váltak járhatatlanná Svédországban és Norvégiában.
A svéd és norvég meteorológusok legmagasabb fokú, vörös riasztást adtak ki a hét több napjára, mondván, hogy a legsúlyosabban érintett térségek 24 óra alatt akár az egyhavi átlagot is meghaladó csapadékmennyiségre számíthatnak évtizedek óta nem tapasztalt áradásokkal.
Svédország keleti részén a nap folyamán kisiklott egy személyvonat több mint száz utassal, miután az eső elmosta a vasúti töltést.
Az incidens miatt három embert kellett kórházba szállítani. Svédországban vasárnap 25 ezer villámcsapást számoltak össze.
A heves széllökések és viharok felsővezetékeket rongáltak meg, fennakadásokat okoztak a balti- és északi-tengeri komp- és légiforgalomban. Norvégiában ezen felül ideiglenesen leállították a közlekedést egyes vasútvonalakon és elhalasztottak kültéri focimeccseket is.
A norvég meteorológiai szolgálat által Hans névre keresztelt alacsony nyomású légköri képződmény vasárnap este érte el Svédországot, majd hétfőre Norvégiát.
A helyi hatóságok figyelmeztették a lakosságot, hogy lehetőleg maradjon távol a folyóktól, meredek lejtőktől és csak a legszükségesebb esetben induljon útnak.
Kiterjedt anyagi károkra számítanak, tekintettel arra, hogy a következő napokban is heves esőzésekre lehet számítani.
Dániában szintén heves esőzések voltak, de itt csak alacsonyabb fokú, sárga riasztást adtak ki, míg Finnországban a meteorológusok közölték, hogy ott is heves viharok lehetnek a héten.
Ítéletidő tombol a Baltikum mindhárom országában is. Litvániában egy 50 éves nőt csaptak agyon kidőlő fák, Lettországban fák sokaságát tépték ki a heves szélviharok, egy Riga melletti faluban golflabda-nagyságú jég esett.

Több tucat aktivista, köztük őslakos számik (lappok) követelték egy szélerőműpark lebontását a norvég miniszterelnöki hivatal előtt pénteken.
A tüntetők szerint a turbinák veszélyeztetik a rénszarvaspásztorok mindennapi életét. Emiatti elégedetlenségüknek már korábban is hangot adtak, sőt volt, hogy elfoglalták a kőolaj- és energiaügyi minisztériumot, mi több: 10 minisztérium bejáratát is elzárták.
A norvég kormány már bocsánatot kért, amiért a legfelsőbb bíróság több mint másfél évvel ezelőtti döntése ellenére nem intézkedtek a még fennálló jogsértések miatt.
„Ígéretet kaptunk arra, hogy változtatnak. Ígéretet kaptunk arra, hogy az emberi jogainkat tiszteletben tartják. Ennek ellenére közel 100 napja semmi nem történt” – nyilatkozta az aktivisták képviseletében Gahr Störe kormányfő szavaira utalva az NTB norvég hírügynökségnek Elle Nystad.
„Nem adjuk fel, amíg le nem bontják a foseni szélturbinákat, és vissza nem adják a földet a rénszarvaspásztoroknak” – mondta egy másik aktivista, Elle Ravdna Nakkalajarvi.
Az érdekvédők azt tervezik, hogy szombatig a miniszterelnöki hivatal előtt maradnak és ott is alszanak. Ekkor lesz a 600. napja a legfelsőbb bírósági döntés óta eltelt időszaknak. Elmondták, hoztak magukkal láncokat, amelyekkel összeláncolhatják magukat.
A vita középpontjában 151 turbina áll Európa legnagyobb szárazföldi szélerőműparkjában, körülbelül 450 kilométerre Oslótól északra. A norvég legfelsőbb bíróság 2021 októberében döntött úgy, hogy a turbinák építése megsértette a számik jogai, akik évszázadok óta legeltetik ott rénszarvasaikat.
Az aktivisták szerint a zöldenergiára való átállást nem lehet az őslakosok érdekeinek sérelmek árán végrehajtani.

A 26 éves Andrej Medvegyev egy februári este Oslóban részt vett egy bár előtti verekedésben, és akadályozta a rendőröket. A fiatal férfi beismerte bűnösségét, és bűnösnek vallotta magát nyilvános helyen történő légfegyverviselés vádjában is.
Brynjulf Risnes, a férfi ügyvédje elmondta, hogy a bíróság ugyanakkor a hivatalos személy elleni erőszak vádja alól felmentette Medvegyevet. Hozzátette: védence belátta, hogy a kérdéses estén „túl sokat ivott és elvesztette a fejét”, azonban az ügyvéd is kitartott amellett, hogy Medvegyev nem bántotta egyik rendőrt sem.
A vádlott a keddi tárgyaláson elismerte, hogy a verekedést követően nem volt együttműködő, ellenállt az őrizetbe vételkor, dühében pedig köpött egyet, de leszögezte, hogy fizikailag nem bántalmazta a rendőröket.
Hajlandó tanúskodni az orosz háborús bűnökről
A férfit először január végén, illegális határátlépés gyanújával vették őrizetbe. A norvég Nemzeti Bűnügyi Nyomozó Szolgálat, a Kripos nem sokkal később beszámolt róla, hogy az Ukrajna elleni harcokban való részvétel miatt tanúként hallgatták ki Medvegyevet, aki elmondta, hogy júliustól novemberig parancsnokként szolgált a Wagner katonai magánszervezetben.
Elmondása szerint azután szökött meg, hogy beleegyezése nélkül meghosszabbították a szerződését. Őrizetbe vételekor elmondta, hogy hajlandó tanúskodni azon háborús bűnök ügyében, amelyeknek szemtanúja volt, noha tagadta, hogy ő maga részt vett volna elkövetésükben.

Svédország az északi Esrange űrközpontból indított kísérleti rakétát, amely meghibásodás miatt a szomszédos Norvégia területén csapódott be – közölte kedden a svéd Sweden Space Corp (SSC) űrkutatási vállalat.
A cég tájékoztatása szerint a hétfő kora reggel történt incidens során a rakéta 250 kilométeres magasságot ért el, ahol a súlytalanság állapotában több kísérletet is elvégeztek, azonban 15 kilométerre Norvégia területén belül ért földet.
„A hegyekben ezer méteres magasságban ért földet tíz kilométerre a legközelebbi lakott településtől” – ismertette Philip Ohlsson, az SSC szóvivője. Hozzátette, hogy rutineljárások vannak arra az esetre, ha valami rosszul sülne el, így a többi között tájékoztatják a svéd és a norvég kormányt is.
Ohlsson közölte azt is, hogy igyekeznek megtalálni a rakéta hasznos terhét, kideríteni a műszaki hiba okát.

A rendőrség nem közölte, hogy a szállítmány honnan érkezett.

Őrizetbe vette a norvég rendőrség a Wagner-csoport korábbi parancsnokát, aki menedékjogért folyamodott az országban. A rendőrség szerint a katonaszökevény illegálisan lépte át a norvég–orosz határt.
A norvég bevándorlási rendőrség közlése szerint Andrej Medvegyev, aki az orosz katonai magánvállalattól, a Wagner-csoporttól szökött el, illegálisan lépett be az országba. A rendőrséget az orosz határőrök értesítették arról, hogy nyomokat találtak a hóban, amelyek arra utalnak, hogy valaki illegálisan lépte át a határt.
Medvegyev azt állítja, hogy félti az életét, és menedékjogot szeretne kapni Norvégiában.
Medvegyev egy orosz disszidens csoport által közzétett videóban elmondta, hogy bármilyen háborús bűncselekményről tanúskodik, és tagadta, hogy bármelyikben is részt vett volna.
Azt is hozzátette, hogy mindent elmond, amit a Wagner-csoport vezetőjéről, Jevgenyij Prigozsinról tud.
A norvég Nemzeti Bűnügyi Nyomozó Szolgálat, amely részt vesz az ukrajnai háborús bűnök kivizsgálásában, közölte, hogy hamarosan kihallgatja Medvegyevet – számolt be az MTI.
Az Oroszországban bebörtönzöttek ügyeivel foglalkozó Gulagu.net jogvédő szervezet telefonon beszélt Medvegyevvel, aki arról számolt be, hogy vasárnap egy szállodában vették őrizetbe, megbilincselték és fogdába vitték. Állítása szerint a norvég hatóságok közölték vele, hogy kitoloncolhatják.
Ügyvédje, Brynjulf Risnes mindazonáltal úgy nyilatkozott, hogy azért vették őrizetbe, mert a rendőrség és közte nézeteltérés van azt illetően, hogyan szavatolható a biztonsága. „Annak a kockázata, hogy kitoloncolják? Zéró” – szögezte le kategorikusan a jogász.
