Міністр внутрішніх справ Франції Жеральд Дарманен повідомив, що стежити за порядком на демонстрації будуть три тисячі поліцейських і жандармів, а також елітні підрозділи.
13 жовтня уряд визначив як підвищений рівень терористичної загрози в країні після того, як радикальний ісламіст зарізав ножем учителя в середній школі в місті Аррас на півночі Франції.
Демонстрація проти антисемітизму, організована за закликом лідерів двох палат парламенту, символічно з’єднає будівлю Парламенту, Бурбонський палац і Сенат, а також Люксембурзький палац.
Подібні демонстрації у неділю організовують органи місцевого самоврядування в кількох великих містах.
«Ми більше не повинні обманювати себе, антисемітизм – масштабне явище у Франції», – заявив міністр внутрішніх справ.
За його словами, з моменту терористичної атаки ХАМАС на Ізраїль 7 жовтня в країні було зареєстровано 1247 антисемітських актів, 539 осіб були затримані поліцією. Для порівняння, минулого року, за даними влади, відбулося 436 антисемітських актів.
На акції очікується присутність багатьох політиків. Про свою участь повідомили зокрема прем’єр-міністр Елізабет Борн, батько якої пережив Голокост, кілька членів уряду, а також два колишні президенти – Ніколя Саркозі (2007-2012) і Франсуа Олланд (2012 – 2017).

У Парижі поліція відкрила вогонь по жінці, яка нібито висловлювала погрози підірвати себе на залізничній станції. Надзвичайна подія сталася 31 жовтня.
Про це повідомляє The Telegraph.
За словами свідків, жінка була в одязі, який повністю закривав її обличчя, вона викрикувала погрози та кричала „Аллаху акбар” („Бог найбільший”).
У результаті інциденту станцію метро та приміську залізничну станцію Бібліотека Франсуа Міттерана на сході Парижа евакуювали.
Поліцейські пояснили, що відкрили вогонь після того, як жінка не відреагувала на їхні попередження.
Поліція наразі не надає інформації про стан жінки, проте прокуратура заявила, що її життя поза небезпекою. Вона отримала поранення у живіт.
Щоб переконатися, що на станції немає вибухівки, на місце відправили кінологів та бригади розмінування.
Зазначається, що вибухівки у жінки не знайшли.

У Франції через повідомлення про мінування поліція евакуювала людей з території Версальського палацу. Він став другим туристичним об’єктом, де було запроваджено найвищий рівень терористичної загрози. Евакуювали не лише відвідувачів палацу, а й гостей, які гуляли в саду. Лувр закрили на добу після отримання повідомлення про мінування.

У п’ятому окрузі Парижа пролунав вибух, в результаті якого обрушилася частина будівлі. Попередньо, в одному з будинків на площі Альфонса Лаверана вибухнув газ.
Як повідомляють місцеві ЗМІ, вибухова хвиля зруйнувала частину будівлі, а пізніше вона повністю обрушилася. Під час вибуху постраждали 16 людей, 7 з них перебувають у критичному стані, 9 – у тяжкому, передає BFM.
Внаслідок вибуху обрушився фасад Паризької Американської академії, розташованої поряд із військовим госпіталем.
На місці працюють екстрені служби. Очевидці кажуть, під завалами можуть бути люди. Офіційного підтвердження, що це був дійсно вибух газу, теж поки немає.
