Közvetlen összecsapásokról a kormányerők és a radikális iszlamista tálib lázadók között egyelőre nincsenek értesülések. Mindemellett az útszéleken kihelyezett robbanószerkezetek további áldozatokat követlenek a háború tépázta országban.
Az egyik ilyen pokolgép Kandahár tartomány Pandzsvai körzetében robbant egy autó mellett megölve annak öt utasát.
Egy másik körzetben két gyerek halt meg és három felnőtt megsebesült egy taxiban, mert egy robbanószerkezet működésbe lépett a jármű közelében.
Gazni tartományban szintén két ember halt meg egy hasonló incidensben.
Kunduz tartományban pedig egy robbanószerkezetet erősítettek egy járműre, ami felrobbant két civilt rántva a halálba és tíz embert megsebesítve.
A tálib lázadók a múlt héten közölték, hogy az ünnep idejére leteszik a fegyvert, és erre válaszul Asraf Gáni afgán elnök is utasította a kormányerőket a tűzszünet betartására, továbbá „állandó” fegyvernyugvásra kérte az iszlamistákat.
A tűzszünet életbe lépése előtti napokban heves harcokról érkeztek hírek több tartományból. Tavaly szeptemberben béketárgyalások kezdődtek a radikálisok és Kabul között, de megrekedtek. Megfigyelők szerint a közelmúltbeli támadások a tálibok évenkénti offenzívájának csupán a kezdetét jelzik. Fokozódhatnak a támadások azután, hogy az amerikai és NATO-csapatok teljesen kivonulnak az országból szeptember 11-ig.

Autóba rejtett pokolgéppel követtek merényletet péntek este az Afganisztán keleti részében található Logar tartományban, ahol legkevesebb 30 ember vesztette életét és több tucatan megsérültek.
A robbanószerekkel telepakolt autó Logar fővárosában, Pul-e Alamban robbant fel, a tartományi tanács korábbi elnöke, Diadar Lawang házának közelében – tudósított róla az NDTV. Az épület éppen vendégekkel volt tele, amikor a detonáció történt.
Haszibullah Sztanekzaj, Logar tartományi tanácsának jelenlegi vezetője elmondta, hogy a halálos áldozatok között középiskolás diákok is vannak, akik a házban szálltak meg arra az időre, amíg az egyetemi felvételijüket nem teljesítik.
Mint mondta, ezen felül kormánypárti milíciák tagjai is tartózkodtak az épületben a merénylet idején, akik pedig éppen a légi transzportjukra vártak, amivel egy másik tartományba repültek volna. Hozzátette: egyelőre nem tudni pontosan, ki állhat a merénylet mögött.
Az elmúlt hetek során, főként Joe Biden bejelentése óta, miszerint az Egyesült Államok kivonja a csapatait Afganisztánból, jelentősen megugrott az erőszakos támadások és a terrorcselekmények száma az ország viszonylatában is magas szintre.

Autóba rejtett robbanószerkezet lépett működésbe péntek éjjel Afganisztánban. A rendkívül erős detonáció miatt legalább heten életüket vesztették és mintegy félszázan megsebesültek − adták hírül az afgán hatóságok.
A robbanás egy rendőrőrs közelében történt az ország nyugati részén, Herát tartományban.
A halottak között gyerekek és nők is vannak.
A detonáció olyan erős volt, hogy épületek tucatjait rongálta meg, több ember a romok alá szorult. A tett elkövetését egyelőre semmilyen szervezet sem vállalta magára. Helyi tisztségviselők tálib felkelőkre gyanakszanak.

Robbanás történt egy észak-hollandiai település, Bovenkarspel koronavírus-tesztközpontjánál szerda reggel, a rendőrség szerint pokolgépes támadásról van szó – adta hírül az NLTimes című holland hírportál értesülése alapján a Híradó.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy emberi sérülés nem történt, a központ öt ablaka megrongálódott. Az épület környékét lezárták, a pokolgép teljes hatástalanításának érdekében a hatóságok a védelmi minisztérium különleges részlegéhez fordultak segítségért.
A holland NOS műsorszolgáltató szerint a detonátort egy fémcsőbe helyezték, amely a tesztközpont kapuja előtt robbant fel.
A rendőrség szóvivője elmondta, hogy reményeik szerint néhány órán belül tisztázzák az eset részleteit. Hangsúlyozta: minden jel arra mutat, hogy célzott támadás történt.
Karácsony előtt vandálok gyújtottak fel a hollandiai Urk kistelepülésen egy szabadtéri tesztközpontot, továbbá Amszterdamban és a limburgi Urmondban is megrongálták több tesztelőhely ablakait.

A Puli-Sarki börtönben több száz embert, köztük számos tálib lázadót tartanak fogva. A három orvos azért utazott volna az intézménybe, hogy segédkezzen a koronavírus-járvány megfékezésében – közölte az afgán egészségügyi minisztérium szóvivője.
Egyelőre nem tudni, ki áll a támadás hátterében, és az sem világos, hogy kifejezetten az orvosok voltak-e a merénylet célpontjai, mert a járművön nem volt feltüntetve, hogy egészségügyi dolgozók utaznak benne.
Afganisztánban fokozódott az erőszak annak ellenére, hogy a tálibok és az afgán kormány Katarban tárgyalásokat folytat, hogy megpróbálja kidolgozni a több évtizedes háborúskodást lezáró békeszerződést.
Afganisztánban hétfőn meggyilkoltak egy újságírót is. Két hónapon belül ő a sajtó ötödik munkatársa, aki a terroristák áldozatává vált az országban – jelentették a helyi hatóságok.

Szerdán Kabulban az Amrullah Száleh afgán alelnököt szállító autókonvoj mellett út mentén elhelyezett pokolgép robbant: ketten meghaltak, az alelnök sértetlen maradt.
Razván Murád, az alelnök szóvivője azt mondta, a merényletben Száleh két testőre is megsebesült.
Az afgán egészségügyi minisztérium közölte: eddig két holttestet találtak a robbantás helyszínén, és legkevesebb 12-en megsebesültek.
Az AFP francia hírügynökség magát megnevezni nem kívánó afgán hivatalos forrásra hivatkozva azt közölte, öngyilkos merénylet történt. Humájún Ahmadi, az alelnök egyik tanácsadója a dpa német hírügynökségnek viszont azt mondta, vélhetően autóba rejtett pokolgép robbant fel.
A dpa értesülése szerint a halottak között civilek is lehetnek. Egyelőre egyetlen csoport sem jelentkezett a támadás elkövetéséért.

A kelet-szíriai Deir-ez-Zór tartományban kedden egy orosz vezérőrnagy életét vesztette, és két katona megsebesült egy, a konvojuk útjában kihelyezett pokolgép robbanásában – jelentette az orosz védelmi minisztérium.
A tájékoztatás szerint a katonák humanitárius küldetést teljesítettek 15 kilométerre Deir-ez-Zór városától. A robbanás akkor következett be, amikor éppen a visszaúton voltak.
„A robbantás következtében három orosz katona megsebesült. A kimenekítés és az orvosi segítségnyújtás során belehalt súlyos sérüléseibe egy vezérőrnagyi rangban szolgáló katonai tanácsadó” – áll a közleményben.
Egy orosz–török katonai járőr ellen hétfőn követtek el pokolgépes támadást az északnyugat-szíriai Idlíb tartományban, a merényletben nem sérültek meg katonák.

Az északkelet-afganisztáni Badahsán tartományban tizenegy rendőrtiszttel végzett egy út mentén elhelyezett pokolgép – jelentette szombaton Szanaulláh Rúháni rendőrségi szóvivő.
Az áldozatok egyike egy helyi rendőrparancsnok volt. Az egyenruhások éppen megtámadott társaik segítségére siettek, amikor járművük mellett működésbe lépett a robbanószerkezet.
A tálibok több biztonsági ellenőrzőpontra csaptak le a tartományban található Has körzetben – tájékoztatott Rúháni. A harcokban négy szélsőséges is életét vesztette, köztük a körzetparancsnok.
Badahsán tartomány legalább 30 százalékát a tálibok tartják ellenőrzésük alatt. Míg a felkelők a dohai egyezmény értelmében felfüggesztették az Afganisztánban állomásozó nemzetközi haderő elleni támadásaikat, az afgán csapatok elleni erőszak fokozódott.Afgán és nyugati források adatai szerint a tálibok több mint 4500 támadást hajtottak végre a dohai megállapodás aláírása óta.
Az egyezményben a nemzetközi haderő fokozatos kivonását irányozták elő biztonsági garanciákért cserébe. Emellett szorgalmazták a tálibok és a kormány közötti béketárgyalások megkezdését egy fogolycserét követően.
Az afgán kormány eddig 2710 tálib rabot engedett el, míg a szélsőségesek közel 460 fogoly szabadságát adták vissza.
A szélsőséges iszlamista tálibok 1996 és 2001 között irányították Afganisztánt, amíg a 2001. szeptember 11-i terrortámadásokat követő amerikai beavatkozás el nem távolította őket a hatalomból. Azóta igyekeznek megdönteni a Nyugat támogatását élvező kabuli kormányt, amelyet Washington bábjának tartanak.

Egy helyi tévétársaság két munkatársa halt meg szombaton Kabulban, amikor az út mentén elhelyezett pokolgép robbant fel a gépkocsijuk mellett – közölte az afgán belügyminisztérium.
Négy további ember megsérült. 2019 szeptemberében ugyanennek a csatornának, a Hurszid TV-nek szintén két munkatársa halt meg egy hasonló merényletben Kabulban.
A robbantás elkövetőjeként eddig egyetlen csoport sem jelentkezett.
Kabulban az iszlám szélsőséges tálibok és az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet is aktív, miközben az afgán kormány és a tálibok közötti konfliktus, melynek a biztonsági erők és a polgári lakosság körében egyaránt vannak áldozatai, főként a tartományokban zajlik.
Az Egyesült Államok február 29-én Dohában az országot 1996-tól 2001 őszéig uraló szélsőséges iszlamista tálibokkal megállapodást írt alá. Ennek értelmében az amerikai és a velük szövetséges békefenntartó erőket fokozatosan kivonják Afganisztánból, a kabuli kormány fogolycserét hajt végre a tálibokkal, és a tálibok béketárgyalásokat kezdenek a központi kormányzattal, amellyel eddig nem voltak hajlandóak tárgyalóasztalhoz ülni, mert az amerikaiak bábjának tekintették azt.
