Az orosz Szövetségi Biztonsági Szervezet (FSZB), a belügyminisztérium és a nemzeti gárda összehangolt nagyszabású művelete Moszkvára, Novoszibirszkre, Jakutszkra, Krasznojarszkra, a Krasznojarszki területen található Kanszk városára és a Novoszibirszk megyei Prokudszkoje falura terjedt ki.
A gyanúsítottak a tájékoztatás szerint fegyvereseket toboroztak és irányítottak át konfliktusövezetekbe, Szíriában aktív terrorszervezeteket finanszíroztak és terrorcselekmények elkövetésére bujtogattak.
A terroristáktól tiltott vallási irodalmat, propagandavideókat, kommunikációs eszközöket, elektronikus adatrögzítőket és bankkártyákat foglaltak le. Az érintettek ellen büntetőeljárás indult. Több részletet az FSZB nem hozott nyilvánosságra.

Az al-Shabaab nevű helyi dzsihadista szervezet huszonnégy harcosával végeztek szomáliai katonák azt követően, hogy sikerült visszaverniük a terroristák támadását egy katonai bázis ellen – közölte a kelet-afrikai állam hadserege.
A tájékoztatás szerint a szélsőségesek háromszor tettek sikertelen kísérletet a déli Diinsoor településen működő támaszpont elfoglalására. A hadsereg közölte, hogy az ezt követően indított katonai műveletében kéttucatnyi terroristát öltek meg, és számos fegyvert sikerült lefoglalniuk.
Diinsoor mintegy 370 kilométerre nyugatra található a fővárostól, Mogadishutól. A stratégiai jelentőségű települést a hadsereg nagy erőkkel védi.
A szomáliai fegyveres erők emellett beszámoltak arról is, hogy sikerült elfoglalniuk az al-Shabaab egyik támaszpontját a Galmudug államban található Orshe településen. A vasárnap kora reggeli órákban indított műveletet a Gorgor különleges alakulat hajtotta végre, a közlés szerint hatalmas veszteségeket okozva a terroristáknak.
Az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorszervezetnek 2012-ben hűséget fogadó al-Shabaab célja, hogy kiűzze az Afrikai Unió (AU) békefenntartóit az országból, megdöntse a Nyugat támogatását élvező mogadishui kormányt, illetve radikális értelmezésen alapuló saríát (iszlám törvénykezést) vezessen be Szomáliában. A dél- és közép-szomáliai területeket ellenőrző dzsihadisták ennek érdekében rendszeresen hajtanak végre támadásokat kormányzati, katonai vagy akár civil célpontok ellen országszerte, így a fővárosban is.

A dán hírszerzés és rendőrség közös terrorellenes művelete során hat gyanúsítottat vettek őrizetbe Aarhus városában és Koppenhágában.
A kelet-jütlandi rendőrség keddi közlése szerint a 27 és 35 év közötti férfiakat azzal gyanúsítják, hogy az iszlám állam tagjai, illetve közreműködtek a terrorszervezet finanszírozásában. A hatóságok kezére került férfiak közül kettőt a többi között azzal vádolnak, hogy 2014 nyarán Szíriába utaztak, ahol állítólag csatlakoztak a dzsihadistákhoz. Ha elítélik őket, hat év börtönre számíthatnak.
Öt gyanúsítottat terrorizmus finanszírozásával vádolnak, ennek központi figurája egy 29 éves férfi, aki a rendőrség szerint négy társát közvetítőkként használta, hogy a szélsőségeseknek pénzt utaljanak át 2013 és 2017 között. Akár tíz évig terjedő börtönbüntetéssel sújthatják őket.
Dániában februárban tizenhárom gyanúsítottat vettek őrizetbe egy terrorellenes művelet során. Hatot közülük a múlt héten azonban már elengedtek a vizsgálati őrizetből.

Abdourahmane Zakaria az állami televízióban azt nyilatkozta, hogy háromnapos gyászt rendeltek el az áldozatok emlékére.
Az emberek éppen a mali határon található Banibangou településen rendezett állatvásárról tértek vissza hétfőn Chinagoder és Darey Dey településekre, amikor járműveiket megállították a támadók, akik legyilkolták az utasokat. A feltételezett szélsőségesek értékes élelmiszerkészleteket rejtő magtárakat is megsemmisítettek Darey Dey településen.
Egyelőre egy terrorista csoport sem jelentkezett elkövetőként, ugyanakkor köztudomású, hogy az Iszlám Állam dzsihadista szervezet helyi ága tevékeny a régióban.
Januárban mintegy százan vesztették életüket két falu elleni támadásban szintén a Tillabéri régióban. Az elkövetők kilétét továbbra is homály fedi.
Tillabéri Mali, Burkina Faso és Niger hármas határának térségében található, ahol szélsőségesek vetették meg a lábukat, és rendszeresen indítanak portyákat a polgári lakosság ellen. Egyes frakciók az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorhálózathoz, mások az Iszlám Államhoz tartoznak.
Az ENSZ adatai szerint a dzsihadisták támadásaiban Maliban, Burkina Fasóban és Nigerben tavaly négyezren haltak meg.

Az orosz Szövetségi Biztonsági Szolgálat (FSZB) a kalinyingrádi exklávéban őrizetbe vett egy orosz állampolgárt, aki egy energetikai létesítmény ellen készült terrorcselekményt elkövetni.
Ezt csütörtökön közölte az FSZB. A szolgálat szerint a gyanúsított indítéka a jelenlegi hatalom elleni gyűlölet volt.
Az FSZB azt állította, hogy a férfi terroristák toborzásával is megpróbálkozott Kalinyingrád megyében. A lakásán házi összeszerelésű robbanószerkezetet, pokolgép előállításához szükséges anyagokat, valamint az orosz végrehajtó hatalmat és törvényhozást gyalázó irodalmat találtak csütörtökre virradóra.
A gyanúsított ellen büntetőeljárás indult.

Négy, az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezethez tartozó fegyverest öltek meg a csecsen fővárosban a rendvédelmi szervek, az akcióban maguk is két embert vesztettek – közölte kedden délután az orosz Nemzeti Terrorelhárítási Bizottság (NAK).
A terroristák, akiknek búvóhelyére lakossági bejelentés alapján találtak rá, a megadási felszólításra válaszul tüzet nyitottak. Groznijban megerősítették a fontosabb objektumok védelmét, és akció indult a fegyveresek lehetséges cinkosainak felkutatására.
Ramzan Kadirov, Csecsenföld vezetője Telegram-csatornáján közölte, hogy a terroristák „nyugati szponzoraik” megrendelésére Szíriából és más országokból tértek vissza Oroszországba. Állítása szerint körözés alatt állt mind a négy, csecsenföldi lakcímmel rendelkező fegyveres, akiknek személyes adataikat Kadirov közzétette. A NAK reggel még három halottról számolt be.
Vasárnap az észak-kaukázusi köztársaság Szernovodszki járásában öltek meg két fegyverest lakossági bejelentés alapján. Az ügyben hivatalos személy elleni gyilkossági kísérlet címén eljárás indult.
Alekszandr Bortnyikov, az orosz Szövetségi Biztonsági Szolgálat (FSZB) igazgatója júniusban kijelentette, hogy Oroszországban az elmúlt tíz év során csaknem 160 terrorcselekményt sikerült meghiúsítani, ebből 43-at tavaly, idén pedig húsznál többet.
A NAK keddi moszkvai tanácskozásán Bortniykov azt mondta, hogy 2019 elejétől egyedül az Észak-Kaukázusban 19 terrorcselekményt sikerült megelőzni és 60 fegyverest öltek meg a rendvédelmi erők. További 144 „banditát” és 220 segítőjüket őrizetbe vették, illetve 35 titkos sejtet felszámoltak.
Az FSZB főnöke szerint a térségben a terrorszervezetek folytatják toborzó tevékenységüket, egyebek mellett internetes közösségi oldalak és üzenetküldő alkalmazások felhasználásával.

Babakura Kolo, az egyik helyi polgárőrség vezetője szerint a terroristák kedd este nyomultak be a Csád-tó térségében lévő Kukawába, ahol túszokat szedtek. Az ott élők csak augusztus elején tértek vissza otthonaikba, azt követően, hogy mintegy két évig menekülttáborokban éltek a Csád-tó térségében fekvő Kukawában a környékén zajló harcok miatt.Egyelőre nem tudni, mi a fegyveresek szándéka a túszokkal.Az AFP francia hírügynökség biztonsági forrásokra hivatkozva azt közölte, hogy a hadsereg harci repülőgépei elindultak a helyszínre Maiduguriból, Borno állam székvárosából.
Bornónak a Csádi-tóhoz közeli része kis szigetekkel és mocsarakkal tűzdelt, kiterjedt,katonailag nehezen ellenőrizhető terület, ahol több szélsőséges csoport búvóhelye, kiképzőtábora is található.A térségben a csádi, a kameruni, a nigériai, a nigeri és a benini hadsereg egységeiből álló nemzetközi erő járőrözik.
Az ISWAP 2016-ban vált ki a Boko Haram terrorszervezetből, és nagyrészt ellenőrzése alatt tartja a tó térségét. Az Iszlám Állammal is jó kapcsolatokat ápoló szervezet a területről már több támadást indított egyebek között a nigériai hadsereg ellen, megölve több száz, más források szerint több ezer katonát.
Nigériában a 2009-ben fellángolt erőszakhullámnak már több mint 36 ezer halálos áldozata van.
