Egy szomáliai hotelt robbantott fel egy öngyilkos merénylő, a merénylet elkövetőjeként az al-Sabab szomáliai iszlamista terrorszervezet jelentkezett.
Legkevesebb tizenkét halálos áldozatot követelt egy szomáliai hotel ellen elkövetett pokolgépes merénylet – közölte Hasszán Dhiszov helyi rendőrségi szóvivő.
Előzetes értesülések szerint öngyilkos merénylő robbantotta fel robbanószerrel megpakolt teherautóját a fővárostól, Mogadishutól északkeletre található Dzsovar településének egyik szállodája előtt – tájékoztatott az MTI.
A merénylet elkövetőjeként az al-Sabab szomáliai iszlamista terrorszervezet jelentkezett. A szélsőségesek szerint a terrortámadásban katonákkal és helyi politikusokkal végeztek.
Az érintett hotel politikusok és üzletemberek körében volt népszerű. A rendőrség úgy tudja, a merényletben a regionális vezetés két minisztere is megsebesült. Mindemellett félő, hogy a halottak száma tovább növekedhet, mivel a robbantás a környező lakóházakban és üzletekben is komoly károkat okozott.
Szomália júniusban beiktatott új államfője, Hasszán Sejk Mohamud határozottabb katonai fellépést ígért a terroristákkal szemben. Szomáliában a biztonsági helyzet rendkívül törékeny, elsősorban az al-Kaida iszlamista terrorszervezethez köthető al-Sabab merényletei miatt. Tovább nehezíti a helyzetet a negyven éve nem tapasztalt aszály, amely miatt már több mint 800 ezren hagyták el falvaikat.

A korábbi belügyi államtitkár a merénylettervek részleteiről nem közölt részleteket. Kiemelte, hogy „a szunnita iszlamista terrorizmus” elsődleges fenyegetettséggé vált, amit a hatóságoknak egyre nehezebb érzékelni és megelőzni. Annak a történelemtanárnak a példáját említve, akit azért fejezett le egy csecsen dzsihadista Párizs közelében a nyílt utcán októberben, mert az Mohamed-karikatúrákat mutatott a szólásszabadságról tartott óráján, Lauren Nunez kijelentette, hogy „szélsőségesen gyorsan” lesz egy radikálisból merénylő. Arra is felhívta a figyelmet, hogy a három legutóbbi franciaországi szunnita iszlamista támadásban a közös elem az volt, hogy a merénylő az „istenkáromlást” akarta megbüntetni és „bosszút akart állni a profétáért”.
A terrorizmusért felelős országos megbízott szerint a külföldről érkező fenyegetettség már „kevésbé valószínű”, jóllehet a francia titkosszolgálatok továbbra is „nagyon óvatosak” ebben a kérdésben. Laurent Nunez jelezte, hogy azoknak a terrorizmus miatt elítélteknek, akik 2021-ben szabadulnak, olyan kötelezettségeik lesznek, mint rendszeres megjelenés a rendőrségen, vagy bizonyos helyek látogatásának tilalma. A volt államtitkár szerint 60-70 ilyen ember lesz az idei évben. Megerősítette, hogy jelenleg mintegy ötszázan vannak börtönben terrorizmussal kapcsolatos bűncselekmény miatt, míg kilencszáz olyan köztörvényes bűncselekmény miatt elítélt a börtönben vált radikálissá.
Laurent Nunez elmondta, hogy 2017 óta öt szélsőjobboldali merényletet is sikerült meghiúsítani. Aggodalmát fejezte ki amiatt, hogy a fehér felsőbbrendűséget hirdető mozgalom erősödik, tagjai mintegy 1000-1500-an lehetnek. A szélsőbaloldali szélsőségesek száma 2-3000 között lehet, a koordinátor szerint a tavalyi évben mintegy 150-200 rongálását hajtottak végre, amelyek elsősorban gyújtogatások.

Eltérő módon ítélték meg az illetékes bíróságok a terrorizmus vádjával elítélt két székely férfi újabb szabadon bocsátási kérelmét. Amint a romániai bíróságok portálján közölték: a Brassói Bíróság kedden jóváhagyta Szőcs Zoltán második szabadon bocsátási kérelmét, a Medgidiai Bíróság viszont szerdán elutasította Beke István második feltételes szabadon bocsátási kérelmét.
Beke – a bírósági határozat szerint – leghamarabb 2021. május 25-én nyújthat be újabb feltételes szabadon bocsátási kérelmet. Egyik ítélet sem jogerős, a hivatalos értesítés utáni három napban fellebbezhetnek a felek ellenük. Amint a Háromszék napilap korábban közölte: azért járt el más-más bíróság a két székely férfi ügyében, mert Beke Istvánt korábban átszállították a Brassó megyei feketehalmi börtönből a Konstanca megyei Poarta Alba faluban működő börtönbe. A területileg illetékes bíróság Medgidiában működik.
A két székelyföldi férfi immár másodjára kérte a feltételes szabadon bocsátását. Erre a büntetés egy részének a letöltése és a börtönben mutatott jó magaviseletük nyitotta meg a lehetőséget. A korábbi kérésüket is eltérő módon ítélte meg a bíróság. Az elsőfokon eljáró bíróság Szőcs Zoltánt akkor is szabadlábra helyezte volna, és Beke István kérését elutasította. A fellebbezések nyomán azonban a jogerős ítélet mindkettejük számára kedvezőtlen volt. Amint a Háromszék napilap közölte, a Brassó Megyei Törvényszék korábbi indoklása szerint Szőcs Zoltán „még nem fogta fel a bűnei súlyát”, míg Beke István esetében „még nem telt el annyi idő, hogy megjavuljon”.
Beke Istvánt és Szőcs Zoltánt 2018. július 4-én ítélte 5-5 év letöltendő börtönbüntetésre a bukaresti legfelsőbb bíróság, terrorista cselekmények, illetve ezekre való felbujtás miatt. A Hatvannégy Vármegye Ifjúsági Mozgalom (HVIM) kézdivásárhelyi, illetve erdélyi elnöke ellen hozott ítélet általános megdöbbenést váltott ki az erdélyi magyarság soraiban, hiszen az elsőfokon eljáró bukaresti táblabíróság megalapozatlannak tartotta az ügyészség által összeállított vádirat nagyobb részét, és csak 11, illetve 10 hónap börtönbüntetést rótt ki rájuk, amennyit már korábban vizsgálati fogságban töltöttek. Beke Istvánt és Szőcs Zoltánt a romániai szervezett bűnözés és terrorizmus elleni ügyészség (DIICOT) állította bíróság elé, mert lehallgatott beszélgetéseikből és a Beke István lakásán talált petárdákból a román hatóságok arra következtettek, hogy házi készítésű bombát akartak robbantani Kézdivásárhely főterén 2015-ben, a december elsejei román nemzeti ünnepre szervezett katonai parádén. A magyar politikai szervezetek és a magyar sajtó úgy tekinti, hogy mindketten koncepciós per áldozatai.

Vasárnap helyi idő szerint hajnali 2 óra körül gázai terroristák két rakétát lőttek ki Izrael déli részére – közölte az Izraeli Védelmi Erők nyomán az Új Kelet online. Az egyik rakéta aktiválta a szirénákat a déli Asdodban és az ország középső részén, Sefa-régióban, míg a második rakéta Asdod városán kívül csapódott be, a szirénák beindítása nélkül.
A Vaskupola rakétavédelmi rendszert aktiválták a rakéták, a hadsereg szerint a rendszer „az eljárásoknak megfelelően” lépett működésbe, de az nem derült ki a nyilatkozatból, hogy az elfogási kísérletek sikeresnek bizonyultak-e — írja az izraeli magyar lap. A bat jami polgármester szerint a Vaskupola Tamir elfogólövedékeinek maradványai részben az utcákon, a sétáló mellett és a tengerpart területén landoltak.
Sérülésről vagy anyagi kárról nem érkezett jelentés.
Órákkal később az izraeli hadsereg vadászgépei, támadó helikopterei és tankjai támadásokat hajtottak végre a Gázai övezetben, a Hamász terrorszervezet föld alatti infrastruktúráját és katonai posztjait célozva — írja az Új Kelet.
„Az Izraeli Védelmi Erők folyamatos helyzetértékelést végez, és elszántan és határozottan intézkedik bármilyen terrorista kísérlet ellen, mely Izrael Állam állampolgárait és szuverenitását veszélyezteti” – közölte a hadsereg.
Izraeli lapok beszámolói szerint az Izraeli Védelmi Erők Vaskupola ütegeket helyezett el szerda reggel az ország déli részén attól tartva, hogy a Gázai övezet második legnagyobb terrorszervezete, a Palesztin Iszlám Dzsihád rakétatámadást hajthat végre vezető parancsoka, Baha Abu-Ata likvidálásának egyéves évfordulója alkalmából.
Az Izraeli Védelmi Erők és a Sabak biztonsági szolgálat együttműködésének keretében az izraeli légierő 2019. november 12-én hajnali 4 óra körül irányított lövedéket lőtt ki Gázaváros Shejaiya részén egy épületre, ahol Baha Abu al-Ata tartózkodott, megölve a terrorista parancsnokot és feleségét.
Benjamin Netanjahu miniszterelnök akkori elmondása szerint a megölt terrorista parancsnok egy „ketyegő időzített bomba volt. Ez a terrorista több száz rakétát lőtt (ránk) és további támadásokat tervezett.”
A terrorista likvidálása végül 48 órás harcokat eredményezett, melyek során mintegy 450 rakétát és aknavető gránátot lőttek ki Izraelre. A Vaskupola kb. 90 százalékos sikerrel működött, több tucat lakott területre tartó lövedéket elfogva. A rakéták mintegy 60 százaléka nyílt területen landolt — emlékeztet az Új Kelet online.

Amerikai kérésre izraeli ügynökök végeztek még augusztusban az al-Kaida terrorszervezet parancsnoki ranglétrájának második emberével, akit azzal vádoltak, hogy segített kitervelni az Egyesült Államok két afrikai nagykövetsége elleni 1998-as merényletet – írta pénteken a The New York Times titkosszolgálati tisztviselőkre hivatkozva.
Az amerikai lap értesülése szerint Abdullah Ahmed Abdullahot, mozgalmi nevén Abu Mohammed al-Maszrit három hónappal ezelőtt Teheránban két, motorkerékpáron ülő férfi lőtte le.
Maszrit korábban az al-Kaidát jelenleg vezető Ajman az-Zavahri utódjának tekintették. A The New York Times szerint megölését eddig titokban tartották.
Egyelőre nem világos, hogy az Egyesült Államoknak milyen szerepe lehetett az egyiptomi születésű férfi augusztus 7-i likvidálásában.
A lap úgy tudja, hogy az amerikai hatóságok évek óta nyomon követték Maszrit és a terrorszervezethez tartozó más társait Iránban.
Amerikai hivatalos forrásból egyelőre nem sikerült megerősíttetni az értesülést.

A Marxista-Leninista Török Kommunista Pártot Törökországban terrorszervezetnek minősítették és betiltották, Németországban azonban eddig szabadon működhetett. Tíz tagjára több év börtönbüntetést szabott ki egy müncheni bíróság, akik többek között civilek és gyerekek halálát okozó pokolgépes merényleteket követtek el – írja a V4NA nemzetközi hírügynökség a Die Zeitra hivatkozva.
A szélsőséges alakulat vezetője, Müslüm Elma hat és fél év börtönt kapott, amiért rendszeresen pénzt gyűjtött egy külföldi terrorszervezet támogatására.
A Németországban élő török migráns részt vett annak az isztambuli robbantásnak a megszervezésében, amellyel a kommunisták egy rivális politikust akartak megfélemlíteni, de a merényletben hat civil (köztük négy gyerek) meghalt.
A müncheni bíróság indoklásában kitért arra, hogy a vádlottak tisztában voltak vele, hogy a párt államcsínyre készül Törökországban, és ennek érdekében nem riadtak vissza a robbantásos merényletektől sem. Az elítéltek között kilenc férfi és egy nő van, ők 2 év 9 hónaptól 5 évig terjedő börtönbüntetéseket kaptak. A bíróság épülete előtt több százan gyűltek össze kedden, hogy a török kommunisták mellett tüntessenek.
A per még 2015-ben kezdődött, 234 tárgyalási napot vett igénybe. A Marxista-Leninista Török Kommunista Pártot terrorszervezetnek minősítették és betiltották Törökországban. Németországban az alkotmányvédelmi hivatal megfigyelte ugyan a mozgalom tevékenységét, a török migránsok pártja eddig zavartalanul működhetett.

Az FSZB szerint a 33 éves asztraháni lakos helyi közigazgatási épületek ellen szándékozott fegyveres támadást végrehajtani. A szolgálat közleménye azt állította, hogy a gyanúsított hűséget esküdött az Iszlám Állam vezetőjének.
Alekszandr Bortnyikov, az FSZB igazgatója június közepén közölte, hogy Oroszországban az elmúlt tíz évben csaknem 160 terrorcselekményt sikerült megakadályozni.

Az afgán Tolonews című hírportál biztonsági forrásokra hivatkozva azt közölte, hogy a robbantások célpontja az afgán nemzetbiztonsági hivatal volt. Hozzátette, hogy a mostani támadásokat vasárnap éjjel három másik robbantás előzte meg, amelyeknek nem volt áldozata. Az akció elkövetőjeként egyelőre nem jelentkezett senki. Afganisztánban az Iszlám Állam nevű terrorszervezet és a tálibok is rendszeresen követnek el robbantásos merényleteket. Az erőszakcselekmények száma nőtt az Egyesült Államok és a tálibok által február 29-én Dohában aláírt megállapodás óta, noha az egyezmény a többi között a katonai akciók leállítására kötelezi a tálibokat.

Elfogták az Iszlám Állam (IÁ) dzsihadista terrorszervezet egyik legkeresettebb terroristáját a dél-spanyolországi Almeríában – közölte a spanyol rendőrség kedden.
A tájékoztatásban nem fedték fel az illető személyazonosságát, csupán annyit hoztak nyilvánosságra, hogy egy nagyon veszélyesnek tartott egyiptomi állampolgárról van szó, aki éveket töltött a szíriai-iraki konfliktusövezetben az IÁ harcosaként és rendkívüli erőszakosságával már régen felkeltette a hatóságok figyelmét.
A közlemény szerint az elfogott terrorista Észak-Afrikából érkezett illegálisan Spanyolországba, és két, vele együtt letartóztatott társával együtt egy bérlakásban bujkált. A járványügyi helyzetet kihasználva maszkot viselve ment ki időnként az utcára, így elkerülve azt, hogy felismerjék.
A másik két személy azonosítása még tart, vizsgálják, hogy szintén dzsihadista harcosokról van-e szó.
A rendőrség hangsúlyozta: az akciót nemzetközi együttműködésben, a spanyol titkosszolgálat segítségével hajtotta végre.
