Az ellenség rakéta-sorozatvetőkkel lőtt a Marhaneci és Mirivszki kistérségre, melynek következtében 13-an vesztették életüket és 11-en sérültek meg. Ezenkívül lakóházakban és adminisztratív épületekben (városi tanács, kultúrház, adminisztratív szolgáltatásokat nyújtó központ, kollégium) is kár keletkezett.

A jelentés szerint a tanácsadó a BBC brit médiumnak nyilatkozva elmondta: „úgy gondolom, hogy a számok valahol 2,5-3-szorosukra csökkentek június elejéhez képest.” Hozzátette: „azt hiszem, most valahol 30-50 fő körül lehetnek a veszteségek. De ismétlem, nem teljesen helyes, hogy erről beszélünk.”
Podoljak szerint pontosabb adatokat csak az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkara tudna közölni. Mint megjegyezte, Ukrajna veszteségei a háború második szakaszába történt átmenet miatt nőttek. „Egy nagy tüzérségi állóháború kezdődött, amikor szó szerint különböző kaliberű lövedékekkel lőtték állásainkat, és ez természetesen növelte a veszteségeink nagyságát” – emlékeztetett.
Az elnöki hivatalvezetői tanácsadó ugyanakkor megmagyarázta, hogy miért csökkentek az ukrán veszteségek a háborúban. „Most a veszteségek csökkennek, egyrészt azért, mert a rakéta sorozatvetőink nagyon hatékonyan működnek az orosz hadsereg logisztikai központjai ellen. Másodsorban, az orosz hadsereget a teljes frontvonalon átcsoportosítják. Harmadszor pedig a mieink már alkalmazkodtak az orosz hadsereg taktikájához, mobilabbak, hatékonyabban védekeznek” – mutatott rá Mihajlo Podoljak.

Vasárnap délután az orosz megszállók ismét tűz alá vették a zaporizzsjai atomerőművet, amit még az Ukrajna elleni teljes körű invázió kezdetén foglaltak el, a támadás következtében az erőmű egyik alkalmazottja megsérült és kórházba szállították – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az Enerhoatom állami vállalat közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint ellenséges lövedékek találták el az erőmű kiégett nukleáris fűtőelemeinek száraz tárolója közelében lévő területet. „Nyilvánvalóan a kiégett nukleáris fűtőanyag tartályait vették célba, amelyeket a szabadban, a becsapódások helyszíne mellett tárolnak. 174 konténer, mindegyik 24 kiégett nukleáris fűtőelemet tartalmaz” – áll a közleményben.
Az orosz támadás következtében három sugárzásfigyelő érzékelő megsérült. Most az atomerőmű személyzete nem fogja tudni a megfelelő időben észlelni a kiégett fűtőelemeket tartalmazó konténerekből származó sugárzás szivárgását.
A lövetés következtében az atomerőmű egyik alkalmazottja is megsérült. Repeszek sebesítették meg, és egy helyi kórházba szállították. A robbanásoktól 800 négyzetméteres területen betörtek az ablakok.
Az Enerhoatom jelentése szerint az atomerőmű önlövetése előtt 500 orosz és a Roszatom munkatársai előre bunkerekben rejtőztek el.
A kiadvány emlékeztetett arra, hogy augusztus 5-én az orosz megszállók kétszer is lőtték az általuk megszállt zaporizzsjai atomerőművet. Fennállt a radioaktív anyagok légkörbe kerülésének a veszélye.
Mint a hírportálunk augusztus 3-án beszámolt róla, Andrij Jermak, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetője bejelentette, hogy a zaporizzsjai atomerőmű csaknem öt hónapja elmeháborodott oroszok irányítása alatt áll, ezért a Nemzetközi Atomenergia Ügynökség (NAÜ) szakértőinek a közeljövőben fel kell keresniük a létesítményt.
