Частина скелі впала на готель близько півночі і розчавила кімнату, в якій зупинилася родина з Чехії.
На грецькому острові Крит у ніч на неділю зсув зійшов на невеликий готель у селищі Агія Фотья. Загинула туристка із Чехії, невеликі поранення отримали її чоловік та дитина, повідомив 30 жовтня телеканал ERT1.
Вказано, що частина скелі обрушилася на готель близько півночі і розчавила кімнату, де зупинилася родина з Чехії. Тіло 45-річної жінки знайшли засипаним купою каміння та бетону поряд з ліжком, на якому вона спала.
У ході пошуково-рятувальної операції пожежники врятували 51-річного чоловіка, який перебував в іншій кімнаті, та 11-річного хлопчика. Вони відбулися легкими травмами.
„Доля зіграла злий жарт із чеською сім’єю, оскільки сьогодні була її остання ніч у районі, куди вони приїхали на відпочинок, у неділю вони мали вирушити на батьківщину”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
У рятувальній операції брали участь понад 40 пожежників на 14 автомобілях, поліція та швидка допомога.

Безпілотники та собаки-рятувальники шукають людей, які зникли безвісти під час зсувів у понеділок у Венесуелі, а кількість загиблих зросла до 34 осіб.
Зсуви були викликані розливами річок через сильні дощі, які прийшли разом з ураганом Джулія, в основному в районі Лас-Техеріас, розташованому приблизно за 60 кілометрів на південний захід від Каракаса.
Згідно з інформацією, наданою владою Венесуели в понеділок, щонайменше 34 людини загинули в результаті найсерйознішого стихійного лиха за останні роки, близько 60 людей вважаються зниклими безвісти.
У Лас-Техеріасі, населення якого становить 50 000 осіб, вулиці вкриті брудом і сміттям. Їх прибирають за допомогою розчисних машин, а рятувальні команди використовують безпілотники та собак для пошуку тих, хто вижив.
“Ми все ще сподіваємося знайти людей, яких зможемо врятувати”, – сказала віцепрезидент Делсі Родрігес, яка прибула на місце події.
За даними влади, стихією було зруйновано 317 будинків у Лас-Техеріас, ще 750 будинків отримали пошкодження.
Президент Венесуели Ніколас Мадуро в неділю оголосив триденну жалобу в країні та направив рятувальні команди в Лас-Техеріас, розташований біля дороги, що сполучає Каракас із Валенсією.
Мадуро у свою чергу заявив, що повені у вихідні завдали шкоди в 11 штатах країни.

За даними агентства цивільного захисту країни, двоє дорослих і троє дітей загинули, коли зсув засипав їхній будинок у муніципалітеті Візукар.
Влада також повідомила, що дві людини загинули і дитина отримала поранення після того, як зсув накрив будинок у місті Панчімалько, за 18 км на південь від Сан-Сальвадора.
«У нас був інцидент у Візукарі, внаслідок якого, на жаль, загинуло п’ятеро людей», – сказав директор служби цивільного захисту Луїс Амайя в інтерв’ю місцевому радіо.
Підрозділ цивільного захисту оголосив „помаранчеву” тривогу у 29 прибережних муніципалітетах країни та „жовту” тривогу на всій території, оскільки дощі продовжуються.

Тайфун Нанмадол дістався берега в неділю вранці на третьому за величиною острові Японії, Кюсю (Kjúsú). У понеділок він ударив сильними поривами вітру і приніс рекордну кількість опадів. Згідно з останньою інформацією, щонайменше двоє людей загинуло, а дев’яносто поранено. Через стихійну катастрофу 9 мільйонам людей довелося залишити свої будинки, а 350 000 домогосподарств залишилися без електроенергії.
За прогнозами, протягом наступних 24 годин може випасти до 400 міліметрів опадів. Зсуви були викликані супертайфуном, який супроводжувався поривами вітру до 234 кілометрів на годину. Вони поховали під собою будинки, які опинилися під лавиною бруду. Це еквівалентно урагану четвертої або п’ятої категорії, – повідомляє BBC.

Потужний зсув ґрунту в норвезькій комуні Алта на півночі Норвегії змив в море вісім будинків. Інцидент стався через зростання сейсмічної активності на мисі Кракнесет.
Про це повідомляє Forbes.
Як видно на відео, зсув ґрунту шириною понад 600 метрів змив у море все, що знаходилося на даній ділянці. Ніхто з місцевих жителів не постраждав, одну людину евакуювали.
Через високу сейсмічну активність рятувальники не відразу змогли потрапити до місця події. Наразі поліція перевіряє інформацію, чи не залишилися у місці зсуву люди.
Наголошується, що більшість змитих в море будівель були будинками для відпочинку. Через 48 годин у них повинні були заселитися відпочиваючі.
Згідно з інформацією місцевих ЗМІ, після даного інциденту сталося ще кілька невеликих зсувів. Норвезьке управління водних ресурсів та енергетики відстежує ситуацію, зокрема ризик виникнення нових зсувів.
