A 15 éves fiúk autóban ücsörögtek Trump Mar-a-Lago üdülőjétől három kilométerre, amikor felfigyelt rájuk egy gépkocsis rendőrjárőr. A megkülönböztető-fényjelzés bekapcsolására a fiúk azonnal gázt adtak és elszáguldottak az elnöki üdülő felé. Odaérve észrevettek egy másik, éppen igazoltatást végző rendőrjárőrt, és azt hitték, hogy már útzárat is elrendeltek ő miattuk. Vészfékezéssel megálltak és kiugorva kocsijukból, lélekszakadva bemásztak Trump üdülőjének kertjébe.
A rendőrség nem vette félvállról a dolgot: helikoptert és kutyát is bevetve hamarosan elfogta a triót, amely nem tanúsított ellenállást.
„Fogalmuk sem volt, hogy hova bújtak el” – mondta a rendőrség szóvivője hozzátéve, hogy a fiúk a karabélyról azt vallották, nem az övék, hanem csak találták. A történtek ellenére a szóvivő szerencsésnek mondta a fiúkat, mert ha épp az üdülőben lett volna az elnök, vagy családtagja, akkor a biztonsági őrök akár agyon is lőhették volna az illetéktelen behatolókat.
Így sem jártak túl jól: tűzfegyverrel történt betörésért állhatnak bíróság elé, tárgyalásukig pedig fiatalkorúak börtönében helyezik el őket.

Megöltek három fiatal férfit Floridában egy éjszakai horgászat során, írja a Sky News. A három közei barát, a 23 éves Damion Tillman, a 30 éves Keven Springfield és a 27 éves Brandon Rollins mindannyian egy Florida City nevű kisvárosban laktak, és péntek éjszaka együtt mentek horgászni a közeli Streety tóhoz Frostproofba.
A hatóságok feltételezése szerint a gyilkosságokat többen követték el. Damion Tillman volt az első áldozat, őt támadták meg először, majd a később, egy másik autóval megérkező barátait, Springfieldet és Rollinst lőtték le.
Amikor a gyilkosok elhagyták a helyszínt, az egyik áldozat, Brandon Rollins még élt és fel tudta hívni az apját, hogy segítséget kérjen. Az apa autóba ült és a tőle nagyjából tízperce lévő horgászhelyre sietett. Amikor odaért, a fia még lélegzett, csakhogy a sietségben otthon hagyta a mobilját, így egy közeli boltba ment segítséget kérni. Mire a mentők a helyszínre értek, már Rollins is halott volt.
Grady Judd, Polk County seriffje úgy nyilatkozott, hogy az áldozatokat szabályosan lemészárolták. Hozzátette, hogy számos bűnügyi helyszínt látott már a 48 év alatt, mióta dolgozik, de ez a legszörnyűbbek közül való volt. A hatóságok ötezer dollárt ajánlottak fel annak, aki bármilyen információval tud szolgálni az esettel kapcsolatban.
A seriff szerint túl korai lenne kijelenteni, hogy a támadók ismerték az áldozatokat, de gyanúra ad okot, hogy a gyilkosság egy Isten háta mögötti, kihalt részen történt, ahol nem botlanak csak úgy egymásba az emberek.

Az Orange megyei seriff helyettesei vasárnap reggel kaptak bejelentést egy lövöldözésről Floridában. A helyszínre érve a rendőrök megtalálták a házban, az 57 éves Jodi Rivera és 21 éves fia, Matthew Rivera holttestét. Kiderült, hogy lelőtték őket, a gyilkos fegyvert a fürdőszoba padlóján találták meg.
Amikor a rendőrök a bizonyítékokat gyűjtötték, egy fehér autó állt meg a ház előtt, majd kiszállt belőle az 59 éves Smith Rivera és azt mondta a nyomozóknak: Lelőttem a feleségemet.
A férfi testvére elmondta, hogy az 59 éves Smith Rivera ivott és depressziós volt a koronavírus járvány okozta helyzet miatt.
A házaspárnak három gyereke volt, kiderült, hogy a férfi rálőtt a másik fiára is, akinek sikerült elmenekülnie apja támadása elől.
A két fiú a közösségi oldalukon emlékezett meg anyjukról, aki túlélte a mellrákot és testvérükről, aki a Southwestern egyetemen tanult.
Az online bűnügyi nyilvántartás szerint Sam Rivera 2009 óta szerepel a bűnügyi nyilvántartásban és 2017 augusztusában le is tartóztatták valamiért – írta a Daily Mail.
