Három héttel a legutóbbi esetet követően ismét diáklányokat mérgeztek meg Iránban, az északnyugati Tabrisz város egyik iskolájában, húsz lányt légzési nehézségek miatt kórházba kellett szállítani – jelentette az IRNA állami hírügynökség kórházi illetékesek beszámolóját idézve. Aszgar Dzsafári, a helyi sürgősségi osztály vezetője szerint az áldozatok egyike sincs életveszélyben. Az IRNA úgy tudja, a mérgezést két nappal azt követően követték el, hogy a lányok visszatértek a perzsa újévhez kapcsolódó kéthetes iskolai szünetről.
Az utóbbi hónapokban hivatalos adatok szerint összesen 230 tanintézményben több mint 5000 diáklány vált mérgezés áldozatává, amit a hatóságok szerint bosszúból követtek el ellenük, amiért részt vettek a hidzsáb, vagyis a muszlim fejkendő kötelező viselése elleni tüntetéseken.
A mérgezéses támadások novemberben kezdődtek a síiták egyik szent városában, Kúmban, majd Irán 31 tartománya közül 25 másikban is voltak esetek. A sorozatos támadások hatására néhány szülő nem engedte iskolába gyermekét, és tüntetésbe kezdett. A szülők emellett többször bírálták a hatóságok lassúságát is a bűncselekmények felderítésében, és azt hangoztatták, hogy a mérgezések „megbénítják az oktatási rendszert”.

A hírt a Főügyészi Hivatal közölte. Mint kiderült, a lány erős méreganyagot fecskendezett az alkoholba, melyet nyereményként elküldött az áldozatnak. Az alkohol elfogyasztása után a férfi állapota folyamatosan romlott. kihullott a haja, majd pedig kórházba szállították, ahol egy ideig kezelődött, majd pedig életét vesztette.
A méreganyag tallium-szulfát volt, az orvosok elmondása szerint a beteg egyszerűen „halálra volt ítélve”, nem volt esélye a túlélésre.
Az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult, a hölgyre héttől 15 évig terjedő szabadságvesztés várhat.

A nyugat-iráni Abhar és a délnyugat-iráni Ahvaz leánygimnáziumából, valamint a nyugat-iráni Zandzsan egyik általános iskolájából jelentettek újabb rejtélyes eseteket, de az ország északkeleti részén fekvő Mashadban, a délen található Sirazban és a közép-iráni Iszfahánban is történt mérgezés.

November óta már legkevesebb 650 diáklányt mérgeztek meg mérges gázzal Iránban, sokak szerint szándékosan, hogy kikényszerítsék a lányiskolák bezárását. Egyetlen lány sem halt meg, de több tucatnyian szenvedtek légzési problémáktól, hányingertől, szédüléstől és fáradtságtól.
„Nyilvánvalóvá vált, hogy egyesek azt akarják, hogy minden iskolát, különösen a lányiskolákat bezárják“ – mondta az iráni egészségügyi miniszter-helyettes.
Később azonban azt mondta, hogy megjegyzéseit félreértették – írja a BBC.
Az első mérgezésre november 30-án került sor, amikor Qom városában található Nour Technikum 18 diákját szállították kórházba. Azóta több mint 10 lányiskola vált célponttá.

Nagy valószínűséggel megmérgezték a börtönben Miheil Szaakasvili volt grúz elnököt egy friss vizsgálat szerint – számolt be róla az Izvesztija az Mtavari grúz tévécsatorna híradása alapján.
Shalva Khachapuridze, Szaakasvili ügyvédje nemrég hozta nyilvánosságra az orvosi vizsgálat eredményét, amely kimutatta, hogy a volt grúz elnök testében egyéb mérgező anyagok mellett arzént is találtak.
Szaakasvili egészségügyi állapota már annyira leromlott, hogy az előzetes értesülések szerint a bíróságra is tolószékkel érkezik majd, hiszen önállóan már nem képes járni.
November 25-én Mariam Jishkariani, az Empathy civil szervezet vezetője arról számolt be, hogy a volt grúz elnök testében három nehézfémet mutattak ki. Az orvos akkor arra következtetett, hogy Szaakasvili minden bizonnyal mérgezés áldozata lett.
Nem sokkal az orvosi vizsgálatokat követően kezdett el drámaian romlani Szaakasvili egészségügyi állapota. Az ügyvédje szerint nem csak járni képtelen, hanem emellett a bal kezében lévő izmok is elhaltak, valamint a tavaly októberi bebörtönzése óta már 30 kilogrammot fogyott a szörnyű körülmények miatt.
Szaakasvilit 2021 október elsején tartóztatták le, mert a vádak szerint illegálisan lépte át a grúz határt. Emellett szintén vádolják Szandro Girgvliani grúz bankvezető meggyilkolásával összefüggésben, valamint azért, mert állítólag ő rendelte el Valeri Gelasvili grúz képviselő megveretését.
